If coffee and water were a synonymous thing, then why I even come here? I got the Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte with Soy Milk as an alternative. This, hands down, is the most watery coffee I've ever had in my life. I couldn't taste the roast or even the milk substitute I opted for. It straight up tasted like a bland, murky water. Coffee and cookies are certainly a given especially where their location is in the heart of an outlet shopping center, but the surprise here may just be the uncooked cookie dough being served by the scoop, as that kind of dessert may not be for everyone, but is still in the foodie zeitgeist to still have a moment. I have come to brewed. a couple of times and always found my experience with their hard working team to be pleasant despite having rather exorbitant lines of customers who are looking to get their coffee fix satiated. The first time I came to brewed., I seriously considered getting a few scoops of their uncooked cookie dough, but I was so dying of thirst that I knew that I had to order one of their signature Freeze drinks with their menu featuring no fewer than twelve drinks across two categories, Espresso Freeze, of which those that had coffee and Whip Freeze, of which those that did not. My first visit, I really needed a pick me up and opted to order their medium-sized, which was 20 ounces, Black and White Freeze. Despite the crowd that was here, it didn't take long at all for my drink to be called out, and it was topped with whipped cream. At $5.40 before tip this was a more than reasonably priced drink as what I received in return was a light and sweet drink that was no doubt loaded in calories served with tons of flavor without it being overly sweet. After a few more sips in my car I came to the realization that this drink was a little to sweet, even for me, which you know is sweet, so I knew that Nutella perhaps wasn't my drink of choice after all. They still have a lot of other flavors to go through, so many more return visits to brewed. will be happening for me. I've been here twice and both times, I've been forgotten about. I walk in, get greeted, and wait in line. I place my order (2 drinks max) and I wait patiently. I heard that this place has really good freezes and I had to try it out for myself! In addition, I also found out that this is woman owned and ran. It's located within the Napa Valley Premium Outlets and one of the only food places who thin the area, which is awesome for a quick pick me up while shopping. It's also in a convenient area for people that need to charge their Tesla's. What better way to charge your Tesla and enjoy some coffee and cookies? I decided to visit on a Saturday morning and couldn't decide on trying a freeze because it was quite cold out or a regular hot drink. I regret getting a hot drink. I originally wanted to try their seasonal chestnut praline latte but unfortunately they discontinued it. So I decided to go for a hot brown sugar cinnamon latte. A 12 oz only has one shot of espresso, I think all of their drinks only come with one shot? And they asked me what type of milk I wanted, I was ok with whatever they had. The espresso was not strong but the drink wasn't too sweet. I honestly wasn't impressed by the coffee. But the freeze however had a really good texture. My friend got a vanilla freeze which also only had one shot of espresso and I felt like it was very light to drink. So if I were back in the area shopping, I'd probably try one of their freezes. As for their cookie dough, it's apparently ok to eat raw and it was similar to ordering ice cream. I asked what the most popular is and it was the chocolate chip cookie dough and the raw cookie dough (without chocolate chips). I of course opted To try the chocolate chip cookie dough. It was very sweet and I don't think one person can eat it all by themselves in one sitting. I don't know how it would taste if I were to bake it, nor did I think of asking what is recommended. I put it in my fridge and have been snacking on it. I also got a chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie. The cookies are HUGE! The chocolate chip was softer than the peanut butter cookie. The peanut butter cookie had real peanuts on it. I think I preferred the chocolate chip one more. We came here on 11.12.23. There were 3 people working. Service was extremely slow. There were 2 people ahead of us, no one behind us. By the time we ordered there were probably 15 more people added to the line. There was a lot of conversating & discussions between the employees that made the order taking drag. THEIR ESPRESSO MACHINE WAS BROKEN. FAIL! Why didn't they put a sign up so people won't waste their time standing in line just to be told they can't make espresso at a coffee shop?? It had just the right amount of peanut butter and the size of these cookies are almost as big as my hand. Previously- I've tried the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie dough that took me back like I was in Hawaii. The regular baked chocolate chip is chewy and filled with multiple chocolate chips in every bite. Listen. I don't like to be THAT person to leave the catty Yelp reviews, but I gotta do what I gotta do. My husband and and I host a coffee date marriage podcast thingy on Monday mornings.
