I had to go down to the restaurant to book the party and a second time to confirm the reservation, 2 days before the party. Service was good except we were rushed out of the restaurant after 2 hrs due to the staff needing tables for reservations after our group. Food presentation is top notch however the food itself is very mediocre for the price. Friend & I went to the South side location for Sunday brunch to celebrate a 40th birthday. You definitely go for / pay for the super pink / super flowery ambiance more than for the food, because for the super pricey $28 price point the food was fancy "sounding" but definitely not up to par on the plates put in front of us. We both ordered the Seaside Benny & hash browns; over medium which should have been 50/50 yolk set / yolk runny. Hashbrowns were just meh, the typical bagged cubes from Sysco & deep fried. Hollandaise was sparse and not really enough to even cover the also sparse seafood mixture (with canned crabmeat for $28?!?!) on plain bread (not brioche & not an English muffin). Better breakfast can be had at other places for sure. Service was fine but definitely a one time & one time only visit to channel the girly side. So for this review I am just rating the Halloween dinner which was DELISH! The food, and atmosphere were amazing. Service was a bit on the slow side. These items are not on the regular menu which is too bad but I guess that is what makes it special. It is a set menu for Halloween so this is what we had Grilled Caesar Salad - I wasn't expecting much but this was delicous. Maybe it was the preserved lemon gel on it but was really zippy. The Caesar dressing was tasty with just the right amount without being too overwhelming. Zucchini Gnocchi - The gnocchi wwere perfectly cooked and looked festive in bright green. The squash blossoms were a nice touch. I found the sugar pumpkin cream to be a little too sweet. Black Forest Beef Tenderloin - I am not a huge meat eat but this was delectable. Melt in your mouth beef with an amazing potato puree and perfectly grilled veggies. Roasted Apple Tartlet- perfect pastry great mix of apples and salted caramel, with a rich vanilla bean cream. Loved it. We also had to cocktails which were super fun. Expensive - 90 bucks a person but for four courses and such high quality I think it was worth it. If you want more treats than tricks on Halloween this is where to be. read more

I had low expectations for the food quality before we arrived, but I knew it was likely a lovely place to take photos to celebrate our friends' birthdays. Our table was under a flower display and there was a pink curtain behind our friends. The server was friendly and she was great throughout our meal to check in on us and fix an error with one of the orders. We all ordered drinks and my mango passionfruit lemonade was cute and tasted good with the first few sips. But then the ice melted and it tasted watered down. I ordered the tuna poke bowl ($24) and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size and the taste. The presentation was lovely and there was a good amount of radish, tuna, mango, and cucumber served on a bed of rice. I believe the menu stated pink rice but I think it was white. I wasn't able to finish the rice as there was too much. None of us ordered dessert as were full from dinner. The menu seemed to have new items on it as a friend stated it was different from her last visit and likely there are items that are a larger portion size. After dinner, we checked out the secret garden space that can be rented out. We checked out the local merchandise and there was a variety of cute items. We took a few more photos in the restaurant and also outside. This is a lovely place for special occasions but not a place I would frequent. read more

Gorgeous (fake) flowers everywhere and a real one with each order; fancy drinks just begging you to take photos; and a dreamy atmosphere. I've been here twice now to treat myself to brunch; once (solo) after a big fight with the boyfriend and once (with a friend) when I'd accepted a new job offer. The food options and the service are honestly mostly not more than average; in general ordering the less instagrammable foods will probably get you better tasting options. The cruffles (croissant waffles) were practically inedible but very photogenic, while the breakfast poutine was less photogenic but very tasty. Parking is available on the street but can get very busy. 10% off your meal if you leave a Google review! I got the Sweet Cloud Latte with chai. 10/10 fun and delicious, I loved that you pour chai over cotton candy ( quite messy) and I didn't think it was too sweet. Mother got the Chai latte and was happy with it. I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries. Chicken burger was 10/10 good. Super messy - terrible date food. Fries were really soggy but they were shoestring which is my favorite. Mother got the French Onion Burger and liked it. Her bun was quite wet/soggy on top. We loved the Chive chips- so cool! The kids and I decided to go for brunch to kick start our day, we were delighted with Brew and Bloom. Cafe: the service was amazing and able to accommodate both the budding foodie and the picky kid. The food and drinks were both tasty and as aesthetically pleasing as the decor. I only got a bite of the Salmon Benedict but it was quite delicious, the Honey Toast had a crunchy crust and a nice soft center. The drinks I ordered half sweet for myself and they had lactose free dairy (bonus) - that was plenty sweet for me but the girls both enjoyed their at the full sweetness. Shopping: lots of cute local items are available for purchase in store. The reservation process was smooth and we were seated quickly when we entered. The place had a floral theme and it is definitely an aesthetic place for pictures. We tried the following: -Sweet Cloud Latte (Chai): Really pretty drink topped with cotton candy. I was worried it would be too sweet but it tasted decent. The chai wasn't super strong but the drink didn't taste bad. -Jasmine Blush Iced Tea: Also another pretty drink that tasted fruity and refreshing. Make sure to mix it well with the mixed berries at the bottom or else it may taste a bit bland at first. -Salmon Poke Bowl: Yum! It was surprisingly really good. The ingredients all tasted fresh and the dressing blended well. -Quiche Vol-Au-Vent: The quiche came out warm and was delicious. The pastry shell gave it a unique texture. Very girly cafe that's decked in florals everywhere you look. It has a lot of "fun" drinks although they are pretty expensive. Nice spot to come with your girlfriends as well as to take photos as the flowers provide a nice backdrop. They have 2 dining rooms and one big events room. I visited this place once in early spring and at the time they did not have their full menu. A reservation is recommended especially on the weekends. The first time I came I made the mistake of walking in and they had no spaces available. The place was PACKED with the line up out the door. Luckily for us, someone had canceled their reservation so we were able to get in after 30 mins of browsing around. Recently came back and made a reservation the second time around and it was much quieter compared to the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect with the quality of food. I assumed it was one of those places that was for show (looks good but tastes bad). Surprisingly it was decent. I ordered the salmon benny. It was really delicious and I like how it came on some kind of croissant pastry (something different). It would be nice if it came with potatoes or a better side. It came with a tiny cup of fruit that fit like 4 pieces of melon mixed with pineapple. The fruit was not fresh and clearly came from a generic grocery store fruit tray. The pineapple chunk was so hard and crunchy. For $22 they could've added a better side. My first visit, I had the iced cotton candy chai and one of their paninis. I remember them being decent (not amazing but not terrible either). Overall, it's a place to check out once for the experience but I wouldn't come regularly. read more

The food was very good and the beverage choices are good as well. After we were done it took another 15 minutes to get the bill, and again we had to flag someone down. This place was highly recommended as I went with my two sister-in-law's and mother-in-law. The ambience was really cool as an array of flowers affixed to wire, cascaded from the ceiling to the floor like floral streamers. The cocktails were amazing as my sister in-law had a lavender Margarita which tasted amazing. My son had the tastiest lobster Mac and Cheese. My burger was good, but not great. The food was beautifully presented, tasted great and came out nice and quick! The cinnamon bun latte is so tasty and the cinnamon stick included is the perfect touch. Edmonton's newest cafe & lunch spot! This instagram worthy spot focuses on fresh florals and beautifully presented food. We arrived on a Tuesday at noon and the place was very busy. Be sure to book a reservation and know that you're only allowed to dine for 1.5 hrs. We tried the cloud latte, two entrees and a mini cake. We loved the drinks and entrée but the cake left a bit to be desired. Service was a bit slow, but the kitchen is small and as I mentioned, the cafe is extremely busy! Stopped into the cafe for brunch with some girlfriends. Obviously the cafe itself is beautiful, there are 2 sitting areas each filled with amazing flower displays. We were all happy with our coffees and cocktails, they were both fun and yummy. 3 of us ordered from the all day brunch and ordered the eggs Benedict. Of note, I was very much looking forward to the poutine that was noted as gluten free on the website and menu, but when I tried to order it, was told that it is in fact not gluten free. Definitely disappointing. Also, if you sub for gluten-free bread, the portion ends up being much smaller (see photo) due to the size discrepancy between the breads and no additional food items. Here's the thing with this place. We went in through the retail store as it was the only way in. The store was not well done. What do I mean? It looked like a repainted thrift store with some little pretty baubles in it for sale. The best thing happening in that store is the flowers. The staff gave me dirty looks and just pointed when we came in. My husband also wanted to just turn and leave. But, I persisted and got to the cafe (hubby lagged behind, staying close to the main exit lol) and I asked about a table. It was explained that I needed a reservation, it look a bit busy - so I didn't think a thing of it. Used the washroom and went to leave, but hubby had ventured in and talked to the host of the cafe and was offered a table right away? I'm not sure why the difference in offering of a table of my hubby vs. myself. He is tall, Caucasian, blue eyes. I'm not. ---- and will leave it at that. As we left, we heard who appeared to be the manager, interviewing someone and being ignorant and rude to the candidate. He was kind of telling the person that they needed to bring more answers to the discussion or why would he even bother to apply. Who says that? This is a magical place full of flowers, flowers and more flowers! I was so excited to try this gem in Edmonton and it did not disappoint. The decor alone is gorgeous, but the elevated menu is even better. The Cloud Latte is super neat with a glass of milk of your choice topped with cotton candy! Then you pour over the espresso which melts the cotton candy into the glass. This fancy drink is such a treat and it's so fun! To eat, I had a tofu bowl with rice, edamame and mango. The flavour was a bit bland, but I definitely should have steered more towards the sweet dishes - like the French toast or cotton candy topped items. The restaurant also has an attached store where you can buy dried floral bouquets to bring home and all the cute trinkets. While the ambiance was delightful and the food was tasty, the customer service from some of the staff was enough to deter my friend and I from making a return visit. After our meal and receiving a subsequent order of hot beverages, the hostess approached, informing us that our table was needed for the next reservation so we had to leave. Despite there being numerous empty tables in our section, no offer for to-go cups, or other accommodations made, we uncomfortably tried to 'down' our drinks while being prompted to settle our bills. Had we known there was a time limit on reservations, or been informed of a need for the table prior to ordering additional drinks, we would have happily left and spent our time elsewhere. Instead we left with a unsettling feeling, further amplified by our table not being re-seated, and no guests waiting at the entrance. read more

However, after finishing our meal and having the waitress asked us if we wanted another drink or dessert we ordered a second hot beverage. Five minutes after it arrived the hostess came up and told us they had a reservation and the people had arrived we would have to pay our bills and leave. we were there for an hour and half. There was no accommodation made, no offer of free drinks for the disruption. So my friend and I were forced to quickly drink our second hot beverage for no reason. When we left there was no couple waiting at the entrance, also there were seven empty tables around us, I asked the waitress if they were busy to which she said no. I went there for a Valentine's Day dinner (third year going there), this year they did not have any live music like previous years, however the price was still the same. If this was the only difference from previous years I would be okay, but they offered the same menu from their restaurant except it was $26 more expensive than if you bought each individual item from their regular dining spot. Then they may say "but you were sitting in a special are, with great decor etc", no, that was not the case, the table was so small it was either the dinner or the flowers, they had dolarama balloons on the floor and no "special" decoration to justify the increase in price. When I ordered a drink, which is supposed to come in a cage type of thing, they brought it just the glass because obviously the table wouldn't fit it (this is all my assumptions, but they never explained why the drink had no special presentation, again even tho paying the same price as if it had). Another great part of the experience is the offered 3 main courses (you pay in advance) and they did not have one of them, just like that "we ran out", what do you mean??? I have been coming to this event for 3 years in a row!!! It was completely ridiculous, a terrible experience and I WAS a regular customer, unfortunately never going back for Valentine's Day. read more
