    Tuna poke bowl
    Violet P.

I had low expectations for the food quality before we arrived, but I knew it was likely a lovely place to take photos to celebrate our friends' birthdays. Our table was under a flower display and there was a pink curtain behind our friends. The server was friendly and she was great throughout our meal to check in on us and fix an error with one of the orders. We all ordered drinks and my mango passionfruit lemonade was cute and tasted good with the first few sips. But then the ice melted and it tasted watered down. I ordered the tuna poke bowl ($24) and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size and the taste. The presentation was lovely and there was a good amount of radish, tuna, mango, and cucumber served on a bed of rice. I believe the menu stated pink rice but I think it was white. I wasn't able to finish the rice as there was too much. None of us ordered dessert as were full from dinner. The menu seemed to have new items on it as a friend stated it was different from her last visit and likely there are items that are a larger portion size. After dinner, we checked out the secret garden space that can be rented out. We checked out the local merchandise and there was a variety of cute items. We took a few more photos in the restaurant and also outside. This is a lovely place for special occasions but not a place I would frequent.

My boyfriend and I are sober, we went here for a date and were very happy with the mock tail choices!! This was such a cute place to have a date. We had dinner here. For our appetizer we had the meatballs and then for our main courses we had the pasta and a burger which were both delicious.

I took my mom here for her birthday. I recommend making a reservation, as this restaurant is busy! I absolutely loved the decor- beautifully arranged flowers and cozy tables. The presentation of both the drinks and food were great, as was the taste of everything we ordered. I can't wait to try more of the menu!

This is a place that is aiming for a very specific niche market - girls brunches and instagram moments - and hitting that target spot-on. Gorgeous (fake) flowers everywhere and a real one with each order; fancy drinks just begging you to take photos; and a dreamy atmosphere. I've been here twice now to treat myself to brunch; once (solo) after a big fight with the boyfriend and once (with a friend) when I'd accepted a new job offer. The food options and the service are honestly mostly not more than average; in general ordering the less instagrammable foods will probably get you better tasting options. The cruffles (croissant waffles) were practically inedible but very photogenic, while the breakfast poutine was less photogenic but very tasty. Anyway, you're not coming here primarily for the food, but for the photo opportunities and the ridiculousness of the decor, so lean in, buy some overpriced fancy drinks, and enjoy their strengths.

Gorgeous place for a girls brunch or lunch. Flowers everywhere, even with some of the meals and drinks. Excellent service - the server accommodated my friend's weird coffee requests and made her something quite perfect. There is a cool little shop of girly items too. If that's not enough, the food is amazing. Worth every penny. If you're looking for something a bit different, this place might be for you.

First time here and lovely experience. Make sure you make a reservation! We came on Canada Day and it was packed! Delicious food and drinks and VERY cute atmosphere. Flowers EVERYWHERE! There were 11 of us and we were all accommodated. I'm telling you now....GET THE MUSHROOM SOUP. OH MY GOSH. I wish I had ordered three bowls haha. They also have a little gift store of items from locally owned small businesses. LOVE! I bought myself some earrings and cute pens and pins.

Heard about this place on Facebook and once I googled it and saw the pictures knew I Had to come here ASAP with my flower-loving mother. It looks so cool! Decor is definitely in point. I checked the website and tried to reserve for Saturday lunch but it was already full. Saturday came and I just called and asked if they could fit us in and they could! 90% full Saturday at 12:30PM. Other reviews warned about poor service but ours was good. Not perfect as it took her 10minutes to come take our order and over 20minutes for food to come but expected off what other reviewers said. Parking is available on the street but can get very busy. 10% off your meal if you leave a Google review! I got the Sweet Cloud Latte with chai. 10/10 fun and delicious, I loved that you pour chai over cotton candy ( quite messy) and I didn't think it was too sweet. Mother got the Chai latte and was happy with it. I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries. Chicken burger was 10/10 good. Super messy - terrible date food. Fries were really soggy but they were shoestring which is my favorite. Mother got the French Onion Burger and liked it. Her bun was quite wet/soggy on top. We loved the Chive chips- so cool! She got the Bloom salad and I thought the salad was really good. Loved the variety and the dressing - did not like the raw onion in it or that the dressing was all at the bottom. Overall super cool place to spend some time - and spend some time you will as the service is a tad slow!

The kids and I decided to go for brunch to kick start our day, we were delighted with Brew and Bloom. Cafe: the service was amazing and able to accommodate both the budding foodie and the picky kid. The food and drinks were both tasty and as aesthetically pleasing as the decor. I only got a bite of the Salmon Benedict but it was quite delicious, the Honey Toast had a crunchy crust and a nice soft center. The drinks I ordered half sweet for myself and they had lactose free dairy (bonus) - that was plenty sweet for me but the girls both enjoyed their at the full sweetness. Shopping: lots of cute local items are available for purchase in store. We picked up some hair clips & a silly keychain but there is all sorts of jewelry, t-shirt, bath products, pins, etc. Overall we will definitely be back, the girls want to bring dad with us next time!

I came here recently for my birthday and I enjoyed my experience here. I was kinda worried because I heard mixed reviews about this place so my expectations weren't too high. The reservation process was smooth and we were seated quickly when we entered. The place had a floral theme and it is definitely an aesthetic place for pictures. We tried the following: -Sweet Cloud Latte (Chai): Really pretty drink topped with cotton candy. I was worried it would be too sweet but it tasted decent. The chai wasn't super strong but the drink didn't taste bad. -Jasmine Blush Iced Tea: Also another pretty drink that tasted fruity and refreshing. Make sure to mix it well with the mixed berries at the bottom or else it may taste a bit bland at first. -Salmon Poke Bowl: Yum! It was surprisingly really good. The ingredients all tasted fresh and the dressing blended well. -Quiche Vol-Au-Vent: The quiche came out warm and was delicious. The pastry shell gave it a unique texture. Overall the food was decent and I had a good experience. It is definitely a pricier place though.

Located right behind the brewery district area. This restaurant is the literal definition of pink floral fantasy. The service was pretty prompt and courteous. The restaurant was out of several items which was about strange. I ordered the falafel burger with fries on the side. The burger was really good but the fries were very salty. The vegan chocolate cake was decent but definitely store bought which was disappointing. Overall, a nice place to try.

I went today with a few friends. great little place, great to take pictures. food really good, drinks and desserts. a bit hard to navigate the menu. but, overall food was great. I wanted to go there for a while. We've got at a perfect time. around 5ths it was a line up to get in. On the other hand, I am not sure what was wrong with the service. I asked for a napkin and the waitress she totally ignored me. came back to the table to check on as. I have to reminder that I need it a napkin. that was not so bad, what it was really really bad. was the flies, were way too many. We ate on the tree side I believe. you can see all the flies on the curtains and flying all over us. We mentioned to the waitress and it was like ~oh yeah we know.....they should do something about it. it is too bad, because is a great place!

Birthday buddies brunch! We both wanted to try this place for so long and so our mutual birthday made the perfect excuse to check it out! The food was beautifully presented, tasted great and came out nice and quick! The cinnamon bun latte is so tasty and the cinnamon stick included is the perfect touch. The mimosa was so much fun but definitely a messy event- so worth it! Food wise everyone loved the light and fluffy quiche, the mushrooms soup with truffle oil made our mouths all water! I hade the poke bowl and it was fresh delicious and very filling! Great service, beautiful environment, and great food and drinks! So Much for a birthday brunch! Also saw two little girls there with there dad- such a perfect place for a daddy daughter date!

Place was 100% full 6PM so there wasn't room to play a game or too even if we wanted. I wanted the twist Ice cream but staff said they could not swirl it so he recommended the milkshake. BUT turns out he was wrong and they are able to twist the ice cream and so I paid more for no reason. We tried an Ice Cream and Milkshake - same toppings - oreo, brownie, cookie dough. Milkshake was 4/10 pretty bad. Super thin, like 1% milk thin, oreo cookie started to separate immediately (fall to the bottom). Cookie dough was either not added or so blended it got lost. Texture was Not good. Ice cream with same toppings was 8/10. Could find cookie dough in this one and ice cream was decent. NOTE staff did say it was his 3rd shift so I understand he is new but it was too bad I paid more for his lack of knowledge and query not accurate recipe as I do hope the milkshakes are better than the one I got.

The decor was very cute and fun, they had an area to get pokemon trading cards, a shelf of games you can play while you're there, all in all a very fun place to be. I would've rated higher if they had more poké-menu items, when I read there was a pokemon themed cafe I got excited for a wide range of interesting pokemon themed coffee, tea, and treats, but the special menu selection was a little underwhelming.

Searching for someplace to go for a girls night out on the town? Look no further than Dolly's…read moreCocktail Bar! Slap on your sparkly dress and a pair of heels (or wear whatever the heck you want) and make your way to Downtown's pink palace! You'll remember this location as the former home of Fu's Repair Shop and Prairie Fish & Chips before that. The Edmonton Food Faves We Crave 2024 list named Dolly's as Favourite Patio and the pictures that I've seen of the back terrace look completely adorable, complete with colourful lanterns. Unfortunately, my visit was in October and it wasn't quite patio weather anymore. I turned up on a Friday evening with one of my best girlfriends in tow and we were ready for the biggest Barbiecore night of our lives! Imagine our surprise when we discovered that Dolly's had been transformed into the "Black Lagoon" for the month of October in the spirit of Halloween. (I probably should have looked into this in advance but I was unaware!) I was expecting Cyndi Lauper and Aqua but instead I got Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. The whole restaurant was draped in the most spider webs that I've ever seen. There were giant spiders hanging from the ceiling and spooky skeletons in every corner. It was a vibe, that's for sure!! But certainly not the one that I had been anticipating. Bits of pink paint and sparkly chandeliers peeked through in some areas and the neon "Dolly's" sign on the wall allowed me to imagine what the Barbie dreamhouse-esque space normally looks like just a little bit. Otherwise, Dolly's was fully transformed into the moody Black Lagoon. I should've worn fishnets instead of glitter. The servers were all very friendly and we were quickly seated at a comfortable table along the hot pink velour banquette. Dolly's invites you to sip, snack, and stay in their minor-free glamorous escape. The house cocktails and mocktails are a major part of the experience (it is a cocktail bar after all) and I was excited to get a cute pink beverage into my hand! There was also a menu of Black Lagoon-themed cocktails that were all served in fun tiki-style vessels. This menu included themed foods as well. I personally had my eye on the Pink Palace Royale cocktail which I saw on the menu online. Made with a special collab gin with Strathcona Spirits and Licor 43 (one of my favourite liqueurs), this sounded like everything that I wanted in a cocktail and more! Other drinks had names like Dolly's Dreamhouse, Bubbilicious, and the house shot was called the Bend & Snap - exactly the sort of drinks that I had come for! However, I was sorely disappointed when the server told me that the drink I wanted was no longer on the menu. It seemed that I could only order a Halloween beverage. I fumbled to find anything that Elle Woods would approve of and settled on a mocktail called Pretty in Pink (Strawberry, cream of coconut, lime, soda, mint - $9.00) and the server suggested that the bar could add vanilla vodka to turn it into a proper cocktail. I agreed. Honestly, I was just relieved to get something pink onto the table! I enjoyed this icy-fresh cocktail a lot and it delivered most of what I had been hoping for. The sweetness of the strawberry and coconut was really fun! The lime and mint added a mojito flair. A very cute and well-composed beverage but I was sad that most of the girly drinks didn't seem to be available. When it comes to eats at Dolly's the food is what you would expect to see at a party, with the idea of sharing at the heart. I loved the idea of Dolly's Funhouse (which is an epic plate of nachos), and dishes like wings, tacos, and mac & cheese. However, the dish to order at Dolly's has gotta be the Girl Dinner (Truffle tots, chickie tendies, aji verde, aji rocoto, pineapple sweet & sour, Dolly's salad - $50.00 for two). It's a must-share so grab your girlies and prepare to chow down! They had me at tots. The Girl Dinner platter arrived looking extremely appetizing and somehow exactly what I wanted to be eating in a place that looked like this. The portion was exactly right for two people and I loved the pretty floral printed plates that we were given to dish our tots and tendies onto. As previously mentioned, I enjoy a tot. (I have a suspicion that Napoleon Dynamite really imprinted on me.) But truffle tots? Now that's just a home run! Topped with sea salt, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese, these golden potato nuggets were fried to perfection with a crispy outside and a soft and fluffy inside. I could have eaten them all. They were awesome to dunk into each of the sauces and when the rest of the food was gone we were still popping tots into our mouths. We couldn't even finish them all because the portion was so generous! The star of the meal were the chickie tendies; two giant chicken tenders, of which we each got our own. I loved this chicken! The batter was really flavourful and unique, and oh so crispy-crunchy. The chicken within was very tender and juicy, proving that an elevated chicke
