He takes the time, gives a direct access number to patients(which I use often, probably too much) he responds quickly and is very resourceful. The office staff is kind. They get pretty busy, every department, and often don't reply back, unless I text him and tell them I can't get a hold of anyone, and then they call immediately ( and I do mean immediate, I'll still be in the middle of a text message with him and they will call) Other than that, I am very happy with the care I receive.

Overall, the quality of care you get at RMC is top-tier, the reason for my 1-star rating is their…read morechange to a centralized call center approach for setting appointments, which has been implemented for over a year and it simply does not work. My PCP is Dr. Margaret Song. She has been my PCP for ~15 years. If you're looking for a doctor that will quickly prescribe medications for anything, she is not for you. Every time I come to her with an illness or problem, she takes her time diagnosing the problem and offers remedies that you can do at home for simple issues. However, if you're absolutely sick, she will delve into things and identify what prescription would really work for you. I have also been to RMC Urgent Care and indeed they operate the place like an ER. I saw Dr. Frickman and he did not make me feel like any other urgent care center I've been to. He took his time diagnosing me, getting radiology and bloodwork labs completed to diagnose me. Overall, the Urgent Care takes its time diagnosing you. They might take a while to get to you, but that is understandable considering they are providing you with thorough care. Ever since they went from physician-owned to privately owned, you can see many cracks coming down the line with changes in an effort from United Health Services (UHS) to save money. They got rid of all individual receptionists at each doctor's window that was the standard practice for decades. They now have a central check-in kiosk, that part is fine. The part that has failed catastrophically is calling to get an appointment. They decided to move to a call-center approach to capture all calls in one place. This is not working, nor has it been working for a while. Being on hold for +25 minutes each time is simply unacceptable.

If you ever need to speak with them YOU MUST come in person to have the privilege of communication to make appts or ask questions. Leaving a message on their system goes into a black hole that gets no response. The quality of care is not something I would consider safe, many suggestions or advice for care end in hospitalization. It would be nice if they could improve with communication. The only way you can reach a live person right away is after 5pm because that rings directly to an answering service who will NOT reach out to anyone in the office (office closes at 5pm). The best they can do is an after care nurse after a long delay. You would actually have better luck reaching Tesla over the phone than you would at this place. Noticed the Business owner response below and I called 800-403-4160. Tried to navigate the IVR and finally got to a live person. I asked if they can transfer me to the Patient Experience Team, I was told no dept, group, or people like that exist. Would you kindly share the exact phone number and IVR key sequence to get to a LIVE person without being on hold for extended wait times?

I was pregnant, she had been my OBGYN for years prior- maybe because I was on state insurance she treated me less than? I'm honestly not sure. I went in for a 9 week appointment- it was my first visit while pregnant. I waited for hours, I finally got into a room and saw her for a total of 7 minutes. She saw there was no fetus in the womb... it was blank in the ultrasound. I advised of certain symptoms I was experiencing that I had been told were common with those experiencing Ectopic Pregnancy. She didn't do further scanning and instead referred me for bloodwork to test HCG levels. I reiterated my concern for ectopic. And she brushed me off, she literally "shushed" me. I went immediately for the bloodwork. After a week and a half of not hearing from her regarding results and calling with no response. I was rushed to the emergency room due to severe internal bleeding and emergency surgery due to ectopic pregnancy. I was on the verge of actual death. After multiple blood transfusions and the removal of one of my tubes, I survived. Because of her negligence and lack of care or due diligence I lost part of myself. I have not been able to become successfully pregnant since this experience. I also paid to get my medical records and I specifically asked for the records of the pregnancy and the ultrasound from my appointment when I came in and THEY REFUSED TO INCLUDE THEM. THEY SAID ID NEED A LAWYER TO GET THEM BECAUSE "THEY HAD NO RECORD" ID EVER BEEN IN FOR A PREGNANCY Disgusting. I don't recommend her to anyone. She should lose her practice and her license. Part of me wishes I died so lawyers would take my case and serve her with justice.

He shares his knowledge openly and makes me feel important, heard, and genuinely listened to. He never rushes our appointments. He always walks in with a smile and such a positive, happy energy. What means so much to me is that he truly knows my daughters. He remembers their personalities, how they act, and what is normal for them. When I bring them in sick, he can immediately recognize when something is not right. That level of attention and care is rare. I also deeply appreciate that he gives students the opportunity to learn. It shows what kind of doctor he is -- kind, generous, and committed to the future of medicine. I also want to recognize the amazing front staff -- Priscilla, Jackie, and Sandra. They have treated me and my children with nothing but grace and kindness. I have known them for going on nine years now, and they have always had big hearts and a willingness to help. They are knowledgeable, supportive, and always let me know when an appointment is needed. If we need to be seen, they book us as soon as possible. And if we don't need to come in, they help ease my nerves and guide me on how to proceed with care at home.
