Ordered out to this local spot. It has nice reviews so we figured we would give it a shot. We ordered online, the prices were a little expensive for two pies. But the pizzas were ready like it said it would online. We ordered a fire cracker pizza and a ham and bacon pizza. Both were good. The firecracker pizza was spicy and tasty, but had given me instant regret as it did not sit with me well. Otherwise the pizza was good and had unique flavors.

POSITIVES I would recommended this exquisite pizzeria to anyone lookin for a delish dining this was our doce time here I got the nice little ceaser salad with ranch the ranch had a different kind of taste from other ranches I have tasted, I could single handedly lived off eating that ranch for the rest of my life. My dad also liked his pizza he said. CONS!!!!!!! Before you even try ordering a slice of pizza with a topping of broccoli be aware they have no generosity with the amount they put on it. They put about ocho broccolis on it which all of them were tiny I would need a microscope to see it. Other than that it was nice.

We were back in the area October 10 on our way to a tiny home in northern Virginia from Pittsburgh so we stopped at Brenda's again. I said it in my last review and I'll say it again...this is possibly the best pizza I've ever had! Since we were on the motorcycle this time we strapped the leftovers on the back. The next weekend we were on the way back from Blackwater Falls, WV with friends and stopped in again! They loved it too.

A reliable spot for great pizza. After a long day of skiing, Brenda's is the easiest and best spot for dinner. Honestly I was a little shocked by how good it was.

Brenda's was delicious for our arrival trip take-out. Upon arrival, it oozed local favorite and local pizzeria joint to the "T" as I took it all in. If that weren't enough to entice you, the HUGE (20" I believe) pizzas are done NY style and fed 3 guys (200#+) for 2.5 days on a weekend trip. After we had settled in and dove in, between the "za" and "sticks" we couldn't recommend this place more! It may be pricier than say Domino's or "Da Hut" - but you are gonna get what you pay for in this case. When we return for our next trip we will place the same order and hope to make this an annual trip and thus an annual (at least) trip to Brenda's. There is not a better place to get your pizza fix in the area, and I promise there will always be plenty of leftovers that bake up perfectly in an oven on a baking sheet.

    Great Pizza and views

Excellent pizza... the best I've had in years. Plain Pizza is perfect blend of cheeses and great crust. Nice friendly service and good prices.

First time getting Brenda's this last weekend and it was great! They were very busy (as expected) due to Labor Day but I feel it was worth the wait! Loved everything about it & we also got the baked ziti. Will be back!

We always enjoy the food at Brenda's Pizzeria. I had a calzone and side salad. My wife had a grilled chicken salad. Everything was delicious and the price was right. The staff are very friendly as well. We'll be going back.

Brenda's makes some really good NY style pizza! Stopped here in the way back to Ohio based on Google reviews and we were pleasantly surprised. The AC was broken that day and it was very warm there, but the service was very quick, efficient and friendly. Ours even made sure to see if we needed boxes or the check before taking drink orders from a very large party, which was much appreciated. The pizza is available by the slice, as any true NY style shop should offer (though many don't) and priced very fairly. You select the sauce - red or white - and your toppings. I ordered a red sauce plain, red sauce with pepperoni and tomato and a white sauce with sausage and micro basil. Both sauces were delicious! The red is packed with tomato flavor and has a great balance of salty and sweet. The white sauce is creamy and garlicky and the ricotta cheese has an incredible flavor. My two complaints are the crust was pretty soft and lacked the crispy crunch of an NY slice. While the crust was still foldable, my toppings were loose and not melted in with the cheese so they all fell to the bottom of the fold. A minor inconvenience, but an important aspect of a great slice. I will certainly visit Brenda's again, should I find myself in the area.

Love that they serve pizza by the slide and full pies. Very much NY style pizza. Other great pasta options on the menu!

2.5 The thing about…read moresmall resort towns is that there isn't a thing... ya know? Things are what they are and if you don't like it... well... I don't know what to tell you. You're stuck. Oh, before I go any further, this was a pre-lockdown experience. I made my way to Garrett County in late fall. I was catching up with some of my oldest guy friends for a much-needed guys weekend. Being the Type A sort I am (and having never been to this part of the state before), I arrived earlier than everyone else -- much earlier. After gorging myself upon arrival on chips, Oreo cookies and Coca-Cola (a balanced lunch if ever there was one), I realized that I needed to eat something for dinner. I wasn't familiar with the area and the next shipment of attendees weren't showing up until midnight. Oh, and did I mention that I was at a lake house -- with a first floor of all windows -- by myself? And, it was snowing. AND I didn't have cell service. Yes, I was in a horror movie. Trying not to think about my impending doom, I found a drawer of menus and pressed my luck with an easy bet: pizza! In the real world, I have gluten issues. But I knew better than to come to a small(er) town with dietary restrictions and other needs. That was doing too much. Pizza, it was. The young lady on the phone was lovely and when she found out where I was staying, she had to get the okay for delivery (if that gives you any indication of how remote I was... and how I was going to have to fight for my life later). She got the ok and I ordered a pepperoni, sausage and onion pizza. No problem. I was charged a king's ransom for delivery and quoted a long time for arrival but I was alright with both things. I was off the grid, it was snowing and was thankful for any sort of delivery options. After a while, the food eventually showed up. The driver was polite. I paid, tipped and thanked him and I was ready to dig in to the first non-gluten-free pizza I'd had in a while. Despite the oncoming gastric distress, I was looking forward to the familiar taste of flour-y goodness. Imagine my shock and disappointment with what I received. It was not good, y'all. In fact, it may have been some of the nastiest pizza I'd had in quite some time. You see how the earlier review wrote about 'soggy' food? Yep. That. The dough was soggy (see picture), the cheese was congealed and the sauce was tangy. The pie was incredibly greasy and the middle was undercooked. None of this was a good combo. Despite my hunger, I could only suffer through one piece.* I don't want to kick a business when it may be down so I'll reiterate that the employees were very nice. I also thought the sausage (when eaten by itself) was good. The pizza I got was pan-style and the crust was enjoyable. But, I'm afraid, that's the extent of the good things I can say. *My buddies eventually arrived, started drinking like fish and knocked off the rest of the pizza in a drunken stupor -- as one does.
