I am new to the area and travel for my profession as a Government professional. I was referred to this auto shop from after getting a tuneup and oil change from the Jacksonville FL Masersti Dealership. The dealership could not complete additional repairs needed for my vehicle and referred this shop which was highly recommended with expertise & experts which specializes in Foreign made vehicles. My overall experience was over the top . The shop was well prepared to handle all my concerns along with handling tasks needed in repairing my vehicle. The shop is reasonable & stands behind their work. I am extremely satisfied to have found a shop such as this one with all the work needed as well as the job they performed on my vehicle. Chris Brewer, our Cars & Coffee guru who works with the Amelia Island Concours - so he's a real knowledgeable car guy- recommended Breitling for top quality body and paint work. Our BMW had a lot of scratches on it from Hurricane Irma's flying tree branches, roofing tiles, and other debris and so needed to be repainted. It's not a collector car or anything but it's a nice car and I wanted it to stay nice. Breitling specializes in high end body work. When I took it in for an estimate I parked between a silver Ferrari and a lime green Lamborghini! Breitling wasn't cheap! My insurance company, Geico, gave me a lot of grief - they low balled the hell out the repair costs - but Breitling worked with me to bring the settlement back to reality. (The cost actually was about the same price as the Bush BMW body shop estimated.) Tony and his crew did a GREAT job! It looks brand new. Paint work on a clear coated metallic red BMW isn't easy but it now looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. If you are looking for a top level paint job Breitling is the place to go. Took my car there told him I had Geico Ins. He agreed to fix it. After disassembling my car he said what Geico offered was not enough. He held my car for a month as he tried to get more from Geico. Finally I had to have it shipped to another body shop. He then wanted to charge storage for the time he held it. I was a pawn in all this. Well when it came time to move it to another body shop he said if I gave him $1000 above what Geico will pay he will repair it. I was so done with all this so agreed to pay the $1000 just so I could finally get my car back. I had to have a rental thru all this. True story the whole experience was a nightmare! read more

My experience at this vehicle repair facility was one of the absolute worst and most agonizing dealings I've ever had in any situation involving cars. I have never in my life witnessed such a lack of cooperation and willingness to work with the customer and/or their insurance carrier. After getting in to an accident not even of my own fault on Oct 9th, 2020, I chose Breitling Autoworks for my repair facility and had my BMW towed directly there. Tony is the sole person I had the displeasure of "assisting" me. Not only was his estimate incredibly out of scope (almost double what USAA quoted), he was completely unwilling to work with my claims adjuster WHATSOEVER to work out a fair price to repair my vehicle. This means that I'm left stuck in the middle paying the difference in what the repair ACTUALLY COSTS to what Breitling Autoworks was trying to charge me (anywhere from $3k-$4k for the difference between the two.) Because I was not trying to pay any money out of pocket for this accident that was not even my fault, I tried to remedy the bill myself by requesting to Tony that aftermarket parts be used to repair my car, (an extremely common practice used for post-collision repair at ALL repair facilities.) Tony not only refused this request; He instead suggested I sue my insurance company, sue the lady who was at fault for the accident; ANYTHING SO THAT TONY GETS PAID!! I realize Tony pushes OEM parts adamantly so that he can inflate the bill as much as he can, but you'd think the customer would come first? Not at Breitling Autoworks. Absolute total lack of care for the customer. Didn't even have the decency to wear a mask during our only face-to-face encounter. After many abusively written emails to my claims adjuster from Tony, I finally decided to be done with this shop and take it to BMW collision center (Tom Bush), where they are actually capable of repairing a vehicle to its original condition with aftermarket parts. My exit bill at Breitling Autoworks was OVER $2500 that I had to pay completely out of pocket myself (completely under Tony's knowledge.) All they did was take my car apart. They didn't even put it back together. This is an absolute clear display of how incredibly out of scope their pricing is and a definitive display that this is a MONEY HUNGRY business that does not look out for the customer whatsoever and in fact, gouges their wallet and holds their car hostage. I guess that type of financial abuse is to be expected of somebody who is in common practice with it regularly. Really tacky quality for any business, but especially one that prides itself on working on high end luxury vehicles. My experience over at Tom Bush has been amazingly flawless and so smooth. I'm kicking myself in the leg for not having taken my baby there first. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!! read more

So thankful today for the good people at Breitling Autoworks. I was so worried because I had just replaced my rims and tires, and of course I hit a pothole. I brought my car in, they took it in, looked at it right away and fixed it up. They were even kind enough not to charge me anything. They even fixed a problem with the sync system in my car that happened after I got my car fixed at another place. Honestly amazing people over there. They saved me soooo much money and the hassle of dealing with my insurance and all that other stuff. These guys are the bomb. They are incredibly honest and masters of their craft. I base this on the fact that they stuck to their quote, finished the car right on time, even though an incorrect body part came in, and delivered my car back to me "like new" as if nothing ever happened.
