I felt that was high but just wanted to get it done. My son went to pick up his car today and called me from the shop saying they tried to run his card for $1400! Fortunately the bank declined it. I got on speaker phone and my wife went into the shop to be told "oh sorry, wrong ticket" and that the charge was actually $418. I asked why so high and was told that with taxes, and only a $20 discount (not the 50 I was told before) and with the front window strip that's what it came to.
