But this year they were HORRIBLE! They tasted of garlic. They had very little sage in them at all. I was extremely disappointed. Next year I'll just buy Jimmy Dean.

Defiantly not the same style of friendly home style grocery and especially in the luncheon area that used to be Great! Purchased a tuna sandwich got back to work opened the sandwich so much tuna piled on the bread it was soggy and disgusting tossed it. Yesterday my sister and I purchase family size vegetable beef soup " we love it, usually but this time to much tomato stock no beef flavor, only a few pieces of beef and instead of peeled potoatoes like usual they were unpeeled cut in half different sized. Just not the good food we were used to. On another note...barely any item has prices from ice cream to bread/ rolls even milk no prices. Either purchase without the price it half to ask before buying at the cashier! So sad Miss the great market the grocery was as Bowens not as Bones. Infact now that I think about it the new name is all about bare Bones. The owners need to rethink and look into prices and food service area. Thanks.

My…read moreissue is with how they're (corporate) running the pharmacy now- no human can be bothered to answer the phone and you have to jump through hoops with some ai robot who is hell bent on making sure you do not get to even leave a message asking for your meds. I am disabled. I can't drive a half an hour just to ask for my prescriptions. Another half an hour home. However many hours or days later they decide to fill it, trek out and back again. Thats ridiculous. When I call a store- ESPECIALLY A PHARMACY needing medication or with a question about my medication, I should be able to access a qualified human being, not a cashier. (No disrespect to cashiers, we need you. But not when I'm calling the pharmacy to speak to a PHARMACIST or refill my and my spouses life saving medications.) it should not be this difficult. It didn't used to be. I had to call SEVEN times to get past the robot to leave a message. Each time it asks do you want someone to call you back about your meds. I always say yes. I have only ever gotten one callback and it's when I specifically asked that they call my spouses number ‍. Additional gripe, this store doesn't even have a drive through window for disabled persons convenience like every other cvs I've ever seen in 50 years. CVS, whatever you're trying to do, it's not working. It's needlessly complicated and stressful. I have always filled my and my spouses Rx from my phone without issue, now suddenly that's impossible. Even though we're on the same account. It's no problem for me to PAY for the meds, but it's near impossible to actually access the meds. Cool business model For the love of all things, get rid of the robot. Simplify and streamline. I'm about to switch pharmacies altogether, preferably to one that delivers.

It is the only grocery store within about a 10 mile radius and because of that their prices are quite a bit higher than the average grocery store. They have a nice hot bar where you can get fried chicken most any day and especially during the lent season they fry up haddock on Fridays! That said, the quality of the food is not consistent yesterday 5pm, I went to pick up fried haddock for my family and they had no hot sides! Usually there's mac & cheese, string beans, kale, potato wedges or the lake but this time the only offering was coleslaw, potoator salad or pasta salad Which looked as though they've been sitting there for several days!!!! They sell a lot of small portion meats, fruits, vegetables, and frozen items that are great for the area as there's a lot of single and senior people who reside there and its easy to get to. All and all if you need something quick, you can run in and run out, but if you're looking for premade hot food, you may want to think about going elsewhere. Store is always clean and things are generally in stock with a few specials. Rolands could do better by paying more for a kitchen manager and revising their overall prices.
