This is a great little restaurant right on the water at the north end of Chesapeake beach…read more We met some friends there for dinner last night. The restaurant is part of the Herrington Harbor complex. It's a neat waterfront property with some tables overlooking the harbor. Although it was very cold outside, the restaurant was warm and inviting. Our table was ready right on time for our reservation. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with fried pickles and crab dip. The fried pickles were very thick, which made them unique. The crust seemed to be cornmeal based, and was extra crispy. The crab dip was very cheesy. It was delicious, but I wish it had a little more crab. My wife had the meatloaf. Tasty, plenty of beef, and a different take on meatloaf. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Crispy and saucy at the same time. The grilled cheese and crab soup looked good - I'll add them to my must try list. Service, food, ambiance were all top notch.
