Breeze used to be a great place, that was when it first opened. The owner was always around and it had a small salon feel to it (mainly they knew who you were and seemed to genuinely care how you were). That is no longer the case, sadly. The young lady who answers the phone and works the front desk is rude. Plain and simply rude. And I've been coming here for about 3 years now. The turn over isn't as high as I would expect it to be with hairdressers, my stylist, Jen, has been around for at least 2 years. But I've never had the same massage therapist over the 3 times I've had a massage there. I gave up and went to Massage Envy instead. The mani/pedis are average and overpriced ($25/$45). I would recommend going to the other nail place in Wolf Ranch for basically the same services at half the price. I don't use Aveda products, but the salon always smells nice. It's adequate, I get a good haircut at a somewhat average price, but I wouldn't write home about it. read more

I found out about BreeZe through an online military support community. Women were driving 35+ minutes just to go there, and I was having horrible haircut after haircut so what could I possibly lose. I walked in and smelled the aroma of Aveda products and was taken back by the really chic interior in the middle of Georgetown. Since I am cheap I asked for a junior stylist. Shelby was my stylist and soon became the only person I'd let cut my hair. She remembered every thing about me each time I came back, was very efficient, quick and gave me great haircuts. I also visited BreeZe for massages and they were great as well. The turnover back there was bad though. I'd receive a great massage by someone, call a month later and they were gone. Seriously, whenever I come from the salon, I look AT LEAST 10 years younger!! (If you like that sort of thing.) She's always professional and courteous, and on schedule 98% of the time. My daughter and I had a great day here! Eli cut my 10yr olds hair and we love love love her! She was so cool with her and made my little diva feel so grown up! Every service I get is perfect every time. Today I went it for a dramatic change. I cut 12 inches off my hair and added bold highlights. Megan DeMarco did a FABULOUS job! (Ask for her!) Me and my bridal crew went to Breeze on the day of my wedding for hair and makeup. What a great experience. They give hand massages and try to make your visit there as relaxing as possible. Our hair looked great, only drawback was the flower girl didn't get any hairspray applied...her mother wasn't happy about that. So don't be shy and ask for more hair spray...you're paying for it! I have been a client for over three years and it just keeps getting better and better. After a long wait due to Covid I was able to go back this week and see Natasha, my very talented stylist. The staff handled the restrictions extremely well - clients were far apart, customers coming in were checked and cleared and everything was clean and spotless. They were even careful to not have clients pick up products so you know that you're in a pretty safe place in terms of the virus. Since my hair color had grown in quite a bit I decided to take the plunge and try going gray. Natasha and I had discussed this earlier in the year and so I knew what the process would be. I am a procrastinator and finally made the call to set up a time to have my arms waxed. I called at 11:40am on a Saturday and was setup at noon. What a quick appointment time!! I go in (been here once before) and am greeted. I was informed that Brandi was going to be helping me out in the spa area so I was walked back to the back and was offered a water which I declined. My teenage daughter went there with a very explicit and detailed request and photos about the styling she wanted. We did not need to bother. The stylist did not listen and essentially did his own thing on her hair. This was not the case where we are upset that they cannot recreate something that we saw in a magazine or online. I know that is unrealistic. Rather it is the expectation that when a customer discusses and asks for something and it is totally ignored that becomes a problem. It would be like asking how you would like your steak done at a nice restaurant and then being served a bowl of soup. Why bother asking if you are only going to get what they serve you? Absolutely loved my first visit to breeze salon in Georgetown! The interior is very well decorated and trendy (like something you might find in downtown Austin). All employees were kind and professional. I loved my stylist Krystal! She was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions and concerns. Last Sat. 1/10/15 I had an appointment with Natasha as a new client. Wanting something completely different than what I had currently and Natasha delivered. Being a new client Natasha to her time listening to what I wanted, she let me know what was achievable with the condition my hair was in at present. Stay far, far away from this salon. The stylists quit all of the time, so you will constantly be jumping from person to person. As soon as you find someone you actually like again (after 4 terrible haircuts) they too will leave. Endless cycle. There is something to be said about a salon with so much turnover...why do all the good ones keep leaving? I feel like now I am constantly just rushed through my appointments and am not treated as a loyal customer. I tried to stay loyal to this salon but after 3 years and way too many stylists to count, I think I'll stay loyal to my hairdresser instead. Bye Breeze. If i could give zero stars, I would. I had a terrible experience at this salon. Not because anyone was rude or unfriendly, but they are just not good at their job. I have short hair, and a fade. Only went in for a trim, so I was surprised at their ineptitude. Mackenzie was nice enough, but I don't think she was comfortable with short hair My fade is uneven, and my hair is awkwardly cut. I'm giving this salon two stars because I did get a really good haircut. If it had been the haircut I'd asked for, I would have been really pleased. And everyone I know likes it, it's just not what I wanted. I filled out the form before the cut, my first time there, and I had hair down almost to my waist. Going over it with me, the stylist said "so you chose a 1 out of 10 for how much change you want to make, meaning hardly any?" and I said yes, I just want to take off the dead ends, I still want to have really long hair. Just trim up the layers, leave it long. Well long story short, she cut off at least 5 inches, if not 6! It's a good inch above my bra strap now, and it had been almost to my waist. I usually come in here every 6 weeks to 9 weeks to get my highlights touched up. I haven't been in a few months due to financial matters. My hair is really long so it cost a fortune here to do, that being said, shouldn't I get the same treatment? I currently am in the store writing my review, I walked in and let the front desk girl I was earlier and I was going to sit down and don't mind waiting. Usually they ask you for something to drink and if you need anything. Well she never asked me, barely said a word, than when this obviously wealthy women walked in who was a regular and she knew the customers name, asked her if she could get her something to drink and was super pleasant to her because she looked "rich". Kimberly and Andrea went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for me. Kimberly is one of the managers at the Georgetown location. She was genuine, kind and approachable. Andrea sat down with me to discuss the goal of the appointment before we started, she then took her time throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed or unheard and in the end she was able to give me exactly what I asked for. Andreas assistant was also delightful. I went here because I was in absolute dire need of a Brazilian wax. I Didnt have an appointment but Val made time to see me and hands down gave me the best wax I have EVER had. Val was friendly but not super chatty which I liked because I'd rather her pay attention to what she's doing.She didn't ask me if I wanted a strip which I didn't mind because I wanted everything gone anyways. I am a fan - some of their stylists are getting a little too pricey, but if you specifically ask before they start - you can get a great sylist for a reasonable (competitive for an Aveda shop) price. I love my stylists (won't share who! I'm selfish), but she's a little power-house who can do an incredible cut and color. I have mixed feelings about Breeze. Some haircuts I've had were really great due to communication between the hairstylist and I. Unfortunately some bad cuts have been had because the hairstylist decided to do their own thing with my valued locks. Many of my favorite stylists have seemingly disappeared. Some aspects of Breeze really enhance the experience such as the refreshments, environment and Aveda products. Love the products, hate the vague pricing. I have gone to this salon for years and it seems like the pricing changes every time I go. I never know what I'm being charged until I get to the register. I recently cut a substantial amount off my hair (at my last visit) and I called to confirm my next appointment & the new price. I was told it they could only give me a range OR I can go in for a consultation. Why would I need to go in for a consultation if I've been there multiple times?? The pricing needs to be more transparent so I'm not shocked & get a $250 bill when I go to pay. read more
