Call to dealership right before driving out to see vehicle. Not 30 mins later.

Ridiculous. Don't waste your time. Zero stars if possible. I call literally 30 minutes beforehand to confirm the AWD HYBRID MAVERICK was ON THE LOT. The ford rep confirmed that this vehicle pictured had indeed arrived and was available for a test drive. To ask for John when I arrived. Just to be sure, in case God forbid, someone drove off with it in the 30 mins it would take to get there, I CONFIRMED with the rep there were indeed other AWD HYBRID MAVERICKS on the lot, available for both test drive and purchase. Mind you, it was a bit of a drive here and I've been working on tracking down this vehicle for a test drive. Of course, when I show up, no one knows who John is. Or which ford rep answered their phone at 4.23p today, barely 30 minutes prior. Finally they "id" that the person I spoke with was at their "call center" not located there. And likely didn't have the most updated info. That a dealership agreed to a trade or something to that effect for that very specific vehicle. For whatever reason that vehicle was not available. "So sorry...." "It's a super hot vehicle" ..."Other vehicles are available, let's look" and blah blah blah. This was the 4th Ford dealership I've worked with in recent days. The others have been up front if they did not have this particular vehicle in stock (no worries). But for this dealership to lie. And then state that they had additional awd hybrid mavericks physically onsite, in different colors, to drive and purchase, today for sure. Well, that's clearly completely false. What we call a lie. So yeah, there's the facts. These folks are liars and will do whatever they can to get you in the door to try and make a buck. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

This isn't for sale according to the salesman.

They continue to list vehicles for sale on their website that aren't actually for sale. And some are marked up once you get in store. I'm surprised the FTC isn't involved by now.

The service for a Hyundai has also changed drastically. They no longer wash or clean your car before they return it. There's no covers or protections on the inside around the steering wheel or even of the seat when the Porter drives your car around. The service team barely picks up the phone even during regular working hours. Yes I'm sure there are people who can afford more expensive cars and still choose to buy a Hyundai. But why compromise service and quality and the client or customer experience simply because the car price point is a little bit lower. The waiting area here is also decent so no complaints there at all.

I was there at 7:45am and all 3 service advisors were super friendly and happy for that early on a Friday :) I set up camp in the lounge to get some work done and after listening to the chef chat with other customers (again, both the chef and even the customers were all super nice and friendly) and seeing several people get some good looking food, I caved and got the French toast (it was great). I love that they don't try to upsell me. They said my car was in great shape and they didn't have any recommendations. I fully expected to have to replace my cabin filter because I'm at 21k miles and that's part of the recommended 20k service (which I didn't get). I would DIY that myself anyway, but they said everything is in good shape, so that saves me a bit of money for now. My only complaint is that I don't have memory seats because they always adjust my seats (even just for the car wash) and I can never quite get it back to my sweet spot lol. I'll keep that in mind for when I'm ready for a new car haha. I will always bring my car here and if/when I'm ready for an upgrade, I would 100% purchase from Fields. I'm just waiting for Lexus to offer another 0.0 or 0.9% financing special since I waited too long and let the my grad student rebate eligibility expire.

Twice when Service indicated that they ordered a part, I was never contacted when the part came in. I followed up with the Service Department, and not only did they not know if the part was there, they asked me to call the Parts Department to find out if they had the part (shouldn't Service do that?!?) Because I have been dissatisfied with the Service Department, I tried to go somewhere else to have a suspension issue repaired, but was told by other mechanics that Jeep needed to complete the repair. For the second time, it took weeks to get an appointment, in the most recent case 5 weeks. I was told that I should get a loaner because they couldn't tell how long the repair would take (despite the written estimate stating it was 4 hours of labor), I explained that I need to drop it off the evening before the repair and was assured a loaner car would be available. When I called the day of to confirm, they were unsure if a loaner would be available. When I learned that the appointment was 5 weeks out, I asked if it was OK to continue to drive the car during this time, they had no idea! Getting this repair, selling the car and going elsewhere.

During the week, however, Lisa contacted me again to let me know that the sale had fallen through and that the car was once again available. That was welcome news. I contacted Lisa to let her know that I would arrive as soon as possible, which happened to be towards the end of the day on Saturday the 8th. One of the salespeople, Tim, had the car waiting outside so I could take a look at it. We took it for a test drive, and I immediately told him that I was interested in purchasing it. Because it was late in the day and the bank had long since closed, I made arrangements to return on Monday to finalise the transaction. I mentioned that I had an appointment that morning to donate platelets and that I would arrive at the dealership early in the afternoon. To ensure that Mike Wilson, the Sales Manager, knew I was serious, I left him a message before leaving for my appointment. That was at around 9:30 a.m., and I was told that he would not be in until 11 o'clock. To be thorough, I also sent Lisa an email. After my donation, I headed directly from the Red Cross Centre to the dealership when I received a call from Tim informing me that the car had not only been sold but had already been delivered. If I had shown a lack of interest, seemed lukewarm about the purchase, or failed to follow up with a call or email today, I would have accepted that the situation was my own fault. I wasn't direct or positive enough. However, that simply wasn't the case. Over the weekend, I mentioned Napleton to a few people and received some negative feedback about the dealership. Since I was buying a used car rather than having one serviced, I wasn't particularly concerned. Having now experienced this level of unprofessionalism first hand, I doubt I will ever have anything to do with this company again

Our sales guy, Herb, was all folksy and started out by giving us a quote for a car that was $10,000 higher than the one we were looking at. Based on our reaction, he brought another quote at full MSRP for the car we wanted. Then he started insulting our trade in. I never have understood the tactic of insulting your customer. He told us that the car was shot, the service manager didn't even want it, and they would give us $300 under the price Carmax had quoted us. Or we could sell it to Carmax, and he would pick us up. I brought up the almost $300 in sales tax we would lose, and he waved it off as not a big deal. Hmm, $300 was a big deal when they couldn't even deduct a penny from the list price or when they were deducting it from the trade in value. Then he sent over his sales manager, who started in on who knows what. We asked for our keys and left to go back to another dealership where we bought a car. This was actually the second time because we came back thinking we'd give them a second chance as the first time was Memorial Day, and they were busy. We thought that maybe the intern or new sales person had sat us down at a computer and told us to order the car we wanted was an anomaly. I believe in second chances, but in this case I would recommend that you don't even give them a first chance. There are a lot of other Hyundai dealerships.

He even said he had the tools to reset the maintenance reminder. We scheduled for Friday. I called off work to make this appointment and drove over early. When I arrived, Steve looked confused and said he couldn't work on my car because it was "too low." My car is completely stock, no modifications, no lowered suspension. He suddenly changed his story.
