I have had significant issues with charges being more than quoted over the phone, incomplete communication about authorization, deductibles, and other things. However, generally speaking, they have gotten the job done. I don't like that parking needs validation and they only validate up to 1.5 hours - and some mammograms take longer with ultrasound and additional imaging. They also can be a bit short over the phone, and fail to provide context that other radiology facilities might be more inclined to include. However, I do appreciate that this location has a broad range of services available and is prompt with answering calls and attempting to answer questions. Never my first choice as there are some amazing radiologist in the area, but a lot of them have inconvenient appointment times and can take months to schedule. I wouldn't suggest parking on the street, as the police ticket cars immediately when the meter expires. The parking garage is also an issue when going for a first mammogram as they tend to take longer. For subsequent visits, they are good about getting patients out very quickly while still doing what needs to be done. Though, you may feel rushed, I do like it better this way than worrying about having to pay for going over time in the parking garage. One thing I don't like about them is that they had been charging $20 for a CD to bring back to your provider. The other radiologists that I've been to have never charged me for a CD, so I was very disappointed as my provider was shocked that the CD costs exta and she prefers the CDs to go over the findings with patients in an extended consultation with lots of visuals - she apparently needs to CD to do this effectively, so I was not able to receive the same level of detail about my treatment plan that I previously received, due to having my imaging done at Tower Radiology. I hope that they reconsider this charge. Anyway, I think it is better to know what to expect going into it. I added an extra star for convenience.

I have always had great experiences with the technicians and front office staff for my mammograms. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes finding availability in their schedule can be an issue. My doctor specifically requested a renal ultrasound, yet upon arrival, the staff insisted on adding a bladder ultrasound to the procedure. Even after I called my doctor and he confirmed that a renal-only scan was perfectly sufficient, the facility refused to budge. To make matters worse, once I was already on the exam table, they declined to perform either scan because they claimed my bladder wasn't "full enough" for the extra test they had insisted on adding. The lack of flexibility and poor communication was staggering. The pre-appointment instructions I received mentioned nothing about needing a full bladder or an additional scan. When I offered to sit and chug water to resolve the issue, I was told no because they were about to close. The ultrasound technician even admitted she had "gotten in trouble" in the past for only doing part of an order, which made it feel like they were prioritizing their own internal bureaucracy, or simply looking for an excuse to stop working for the day, over patient care. If you want a facility that actually follows your doctor's orders and values your time, I suggest going elsewhere.

I'll start be saying that the workers were very kind, easy to work with and very accommodating during the scan. Unfortunately I had way too many issues that made an urgent situation turn into a nightmare. All in all, I was scheduled incorrectly, my email address was recorded incorrectly, as was my address. I needed discs to give to my doctor after the appointment which they are unable to provide due to the system being down. That's fine, I opted to come back another day. I called ahead to ensure that the discs would be available at the front desk. It looks like they may have a general number for all locations. So I was asked to specify the location in which i would be retrieving the discs. I informed them of the location and was told they will be available to pickup in 20 minutes time. I arrived 5 hours later since I was working that day and there were no discs to be found. I had to wait 45 minutes for them to make the discs. I also had to call to gain access to the portal due to the email situation. All in all, there were just too many mistakes to return that resulted in a lot of miscommunication. Once again, the associates were friendly and I felt well taken care of during the actual scan but I would rather return to my previous location.

I was the only one in the waiting room. About 10 minutes after I arrived, a few employees walked in. This is interesting, as the facility starts walk-in hours at 9:00am (opening time). The receptionist went to find out and came back informing me it would be a bit longer. Are you kidding me??? How unprofessional- if you advertise walk-in hours from 9-4pm, then your employees should be on site and ready to start work at that time. This office does not seem to be well managed, as I experienced issues my first visit. I decided to give them another chance since I like to support businesses in my neighborhood but I will never use this imaging center again. The lack of respect for patients' time, lateness by employees, and obvious lack of effective management is disappointing. Patients deserve better.

I was put at ease right from the start by the courteous, highly professional and compassionate staff. The preparation for the procedure involved starting two IV lines, which in my case, due to very small veins, is easier said than done. I had people sticking me in both hands at the same time, but they were super nice about it. Somehow, everyone managed not to become aggravated. I was especially impressed by Dr. Raggio, who was patient, personable and very knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained everything that he was about to do and made sure that my decision to go ahead with the procedure was well-informed. I can't say I've ever had fun during a medical procedure, but it was quick and easy, and I actually enjoyed the experience. If only all medical teams were this good! Oh! and they give you a sandwich and something to drink while in recovery; a very thoughtful gesture when you've been instructed not to eat or drink anything after midnight the night before. The full waiting room of 45 minutes ago is nearly empty now and every one of those people got here after o did. If you come here, do not deal with the woman with the short gray hair behind the desk. She doesn't have a clue what she's doing. Update: After horrid front desk, the tech who ran my test, Victor, was excellent. He explained the procedure, all the details. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was efficient, professional and had a sense of humor. He answered my questions, even the silly ones with answers that were actually answers proving that he listened. Afterwards he explained when the Dr would receive the results and asked if I had an appt scheduled with the Dr. I did talk to the office mgr about the front desk woman.
