Since the chairs are in the same room there is no patient privacy. Despite my requests to see the nurse even as i was willing to pay, i had to tell her and others heard. She indicated that it wasnt a valid reason to see the doctor and she would not let me see her. I could not believe it. I asked her to talk to the nurse and she did but then came back and told me that the answer was no. I said, are you really not going to let me see the nurse? She said yes... I dont recommend going here for medical services...

We had a great outcome. She did fantastic work re: my procedure, before, during and after care, and has the best bed-side manner ever. She makes us feel like family. In addition, the staff at the office and at Holy Cross Hospital took very good care of me and my family. Our concerns and questions were answered, and my needs were more than met. I love having the ability to communicate with the staff through secured messaging and get quick responses back. I love my care with Dr. T'yau and the wonderful staff at the Silver Spring office. I went to them a few years ago and when my lower back recently started having issues I decided it was easier to go back to them than find a new place. So glad I did! Vince and Chris are terrific and both give great massages! They are really personable and know how to make you feel comfortable, even when some of the exercises/massages can seem a bit awkward. All the office and support staff are really friendly and they all take proper COVID precautions for everyone's safety. I worked primarily with Chris and he is extremely knowledgeable and full of optimism and smiles. He took the time to explain to me what my issue was and even showed me with a spine model what was happening to cause my pain. I'm a visual learner so that really helped my understanding. He walked me through each exercise and made sure that I was aware of which muscles groups should be engaged for each and what those muscles feel like when engaged. (I now know what transverse abdominals are and mine are no longer lazy couch potatoes!) Without that insight, I would have been doing the exercises incorrectly and not gotten the most out of my PT experience. Within a few weeks I noticed a difference in my lower back pain and after two months I am pain free. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Disclaimer: I recovered quicker because I actually did the exercises at home like Chris told me to do and not just at the appointments. Following Chris' instructions helped my body recover quicker and the necessary muscles to get stronger each day to correct my lower back issues. At Crofton Physical Therapy I was able to accomplish what I came in for. They made me feel like a person and not a name on a calendar. The light and friendly atmosphere often made me forget I had a mask on. I will continue to come back to them for my physical therapy needs in the future. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Over the last 18 years some staff changed and the office changed but the care and compassion BAP has shown has never changed. I have called Dr. K on weekends and in the middle of the night in emergencies. As first time parents we shared our concern with info we had heard about vaccine risks and the practice allowed us to space some of the shots out a few weeks (if I remember correctly) but calmly told us they would not skip vaccines. They were patient but firm and we appreciated it. Dr. K cares about you and your kids. The staff truly cares about you and your kids. I couldn't have asked for a better pediatrician.

We really enjoyed this office until…read moreour second child started to have health problems then it became very evident that they did not care about our children at all. My second born, was a perfectly healthy newborn, until after his two month apt. He received the normal vaccines at which time he started to have a lot of problems; episodes of crying for more than 3-4 hrs, reflux, issues with his bowels, and eczema. I brought him in for a follow up, and was told the green mucus stool, was caused by a dairy allergy. I was breastfeeding and my diet had not changed. I removed dairy from my food and even tried a dairy free formula that never helped him. They tested his stool multiple times for blood, because they said it is was a true dairy allergy eventually his stool would have blood. It never did. I refused his 4 and 6 months shots, because at this point I had read the FDA inserts and SEVERAL medical studies that listed his symptoms as a reaction to the DTAP. I brought this up to the provider who questioned my sources, and when I told her pubmed, the cdc, and science direct she still didn't believe me. I showered her the FDA inserts of symptoms and her explanation was that the eczema was because newborns skin has to get used to the outside world.... And insisted that it wasn't from the vaccines. I then asked for the information on the lot numbers and brand so that I could report his symptoms to VAERS, it was at this time that Dr. K finally called to get involved and said we would not be able to stay due to their vaccine policy, after a very heated conversation of me bringing up the research and the fact that they clearly didn't care about my child enough to allow me to delay, or believe that this was a reaction despite the research and proof. Mind you I have been an ER NURSE for 8 years, and my first was fully vaccinated. After we were threatened to be removed we found a new pediatrician, as we did not feel that they truly cared for our children or safe there anymore. Fast forward to our new pediatrician and we reviewed his medical history and the previous mentioned events, and this provider informed me that this was an adverse reaction to the dtap without even telling him what I believed. He informed us the risk for more severe reactions on another dose is ten fold after these symptoms. He said we were so very lucky that we were educated enough to do the research and put our foot down, because had we not known and gone through with it he could have been seriously harmed. My first born also had speech delay I brought this up regularly from 14 mths on at BAP, and was ignored and told that he was fine. After leaving this office, we were referred to a speech therapist by the new pediatrician and were told that at 2.5 yrs old he had the speech of an 18 mth old. We have been advised by lawyers, that we have a good case for medical negligence and malpractice.The sheets they send you AFTER the apt never once told me that these issues could occur, that is not true informed consent. If you have ever had a baby with these symptoms, do your research and trust your gut.

Aesthetics is only a small part of her knowledge base and she is amazing at what she does! I stopped by the MedSpa on a whim. It's right next door to my accountant's office, so I decided to check them out. I'm so glad I let curiosity get the best of me. Dr. Dana was at the front when I entered and I asked her if there were any treatment options for the dark circles under my eyes, which several dermatologists have told me was hereditary and "just a part of getting older". I had no appointment, but Dr. Dana immediately took me to the back to discuss my options. It was like my entire world opened up. There were so many treatment options available, including many that were topical and non-invasive. I was absolutely blown away. What I really appreciated is that she wasn't trying to sell me anything, but really just educate me and inform me so that I could decide what was best for me. She sat with me for about an hour (again, with no appointment) to put together a treatment plan and discuss next steps. Now when I say she's a wealth of knowledge, I can't overstate that. She has been incredibly proactive in recommending things that I didn't even know were available to me. Things that I didn't even ask her about. For example, we were casually talking about the weather and I was telling her how dry it was making my scalp. She was able to recommend a product to help me manage the dryness (something that my dermatologist never thought to do) and it has been an absolute game changer. During one of my treatments, I casually mentioned how tired I have been feeling after work and how I didn't have much energy at the end of the day. She could have just smiled and nodded, treating it like casual conversation, but instead she pulled that conversational thread to try to get to the root cause. She then offered some recommendations to try to help me get my energy back. What started as casual conversation ended with me feeling like a brand new person by the time I left the MedSpa. This place doesn't just rejuvenate my body, it rejuvenates my spirit. Everyone in there is just so kind, welcoming, and wonderful. It's really like being among friends. It's a place to relax, get away from the world for a little bit, indulge in some much-deserved self-care, as well as truly be cared for. I saw Dr. Martins for a regular checkup/physical. He must be a new addition to this practice at…read morethe Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington because he's not in the directory and he looks like he's my age. But regardless of his youth, he seems like he's on top of his game. I got to my appointment fifteen minutes early expecting reams of paperwork to fill out, but thankfully the paperwork was fairly light. The nurse who took my vital signs and drew my blood was friendly, if seeming a little world-weary. Then I had to wait a bit to see Dr. Martin, which was odd because there weren't many people there. But it wasn't that long. When he did see me, he did a really good job. He listened intently to me and my concerns, he joked around with me, and he really took his time, which was nice. I never felt rushed, which is my biggest pet peeve with doctors, and he was open to any questions I had. All in all it was one of the most productive and most hassle-free medical appointments I've ever had. I've only had one appointment so far, and I hope to be healthy enough that appointments are kept to a minimum, but if you're looking for a primary care physician, Dr. Martins seems like he's a good one. One thing to note is that one of the other doctors in the practice brought his two fairly large dogs with him to work, which I thought was cool, if a little weird. So they were just lounging around the office with the ladies at the front desk. So if you're allergic to dogs, this may not be the best place to go for a medical appointment.
