Good I like that they're open late but they are a little expensive but worth it I guess

I absolutely love this place, especially their Blend Blast fruit smoothies--they make them so fresh and tasty! You can also request less sweet and less ice which is perfect. Their classic milk tea is pretty solid too. Today I ordered: * Mango Peach Strawberry Smoothie - $6.99 (Less Sweet $0.00 + Aloe Vera $0.90) * Pineapple Mango Smoothie w/ Cream - $7.50 I also like that I can use the code on the bottom of my receipt and update it to my Clover account for points--super convenient! The owner is really nice and patient--they always let me take my time with my order. The shop has plenty of seating and it's very clean. This has definitely become one of my favorite boba spots!

Strawberry and Lychee Green Tea with Mango Bits

Was starting my new job in the area and we had a nice long break. I was craving some fruit tea during my break, so I checked Yelp and this place popped up for me. Just going down Oak Grove Road, and I was able to locate it on the corner. Strawberry and Lychee Green Tea with Mango Bits. I opted for the "build your own" style since the pre-mades did not appeal to me as much. Overall, the drink was refreshing but a bit sweet for me. I didn't quite taste the lychee flavor, just mainly the strawberry and green tea. The mango bits I enjoyed a lot, it added a bit more texture and flavor to my drink. I couldn't tell if I was able to adjust my sweetness, but I would definitely bring it down to 50 or 30% due to how sweet it really was. Still, I look forward to coming back to this place again.

Was hopeful to find a new boba shop with popcorn chicken...but, it just didn't match up to the many better (and much better) options all over three Bay. Upon entering this boba shop situated on a small corner shopping center, there was some promise. Cite interior spaces, airy and bright, and a busy afternoon crowd were early but deceiving indicators. We ordered one popcorn chicken, one avocado smoothie and one oolong milk tea with boba topping. Prices are definitely on the high and expensive end, probably at least 15-25% higher than other places. Our order came out at an acceptable amount of time given the afternoon crowd. The milk tea was typical, the avocado smoothie was on the watery side amd the popcorn chicken taste was a bit off in whatever seasoning they use. Plus the chicken portion size was very small for the nearly $10 price tag (see photo). I won't be planning to return as.there are too many other options in the area. Too bad.

A decent spot for boba in the area. I tried the tiramisu boba and I've never heard of that combination before, it was pretty good and i enjoyed the drink, but not sure if they forgot the coffee foam on top? or if this is it in the picture? lol. didn't seem like foam to me, but i don't know. The boba was chewy and fresh. There are also board/card games to play with your friends if you'd like.

Since moving here we've been on a mission to finding great boba near us, and this one is hard to break away from. I loved customizing the sugar level. This used to be standard but I feel like places have gotten away from it, and I really appreciate it. It also keeps me coming back much much more when I know I can control the sweetness of my drink. I love the mango strawberry peach smoothie. It's incredible how well you can taste each of the fruits in the drink, instead of most smoothies where one overpowers them all. We have also tried the Thai and the matcha tea, which is more of a fresh matcha flavor. My favorite has to be the brown sugar milk tea, which has incredible flavor. I look forward to trying one of their mojito inspired drinks, which are popular and look as delicious as they sound. I love the super cute lids. I also love that this place has classic drinks along with specialty drinks, such as tiramisu milk tea, which I look forward to trying in the future. Living so close it's hard to not come here every day. I'm so glad I found a great boba spot so quickly.

Strawberry matcha galore! This spot is your default for late night munchies and drinks. We got the strawberry matcha boba which was great quality. They have a wide range of drink selections with milky, fruity, or choco teas and smoothies with customizations. They also have small snacks which I will have to come back and try. This spot is casual and amazingly open late!!! The barista was nice and quick!

Not in the mood for a full meal yet want something to satisfy your craving of something, yes go find a boba place with food nearby, or just come to Breaktime Tea and get a mildly sweet mojito boba with something like popcorn chicken and or something like gyoza. Something to drink and something to snack while you scroll mindlessly through your phone while looking for something to do after you eat something and drink something.

The Tutti Fruit-tea is the best boba drink in all of Concord. I get it with less sweet and less ice. The drink has been consistent over the years. Hours at Breaktime are also very convenient. Space is great for studying (there is WiFi). I like their rewards system too.

Ordered a sweetened green tea! Very nice owners & reminiscent of Tapioca express! Lots of parking and generally just a nice boba spot to sit and chill in--they had board and card games provided at the tables!

My wife and I go here every week. The owners are incredibly nice. Our go to drink is the mango smoothie and it always tastes fresh every single time. In my opinion, this is the one of the best boba places in Concord. Must try for sure!

I was craving a hot drink for dessert so I came in and ordered a HOT roasted oolong milk tea with boba 50% sweet. When the lady handed me the drink it was iced and when I told her I ordered it hot, she said they don't make it as a hot drink. I was confused because I've ordered it hot before and it doesn't say it's a "cold only" item on the menu. I'm pretty upset that she lied and seemed like she didn't want to remake it for me. I was not satisfied with her customer service, especially having handled this situation without an apology at least. The drink was good, just had to microwave it in a separate cup. I usually love this place- sad I had to revoke the 5 stars.

We stopped in this tea shop in Walnut Creek. I have to say that their teas have a very strong tea flavor which I would give 5 stars -- not watered down like some other places. The have a wide variety of drinks and toppings. I did get the cheese foam tea and would say that the only opportunity here is to improve the consistency of the cheese foam. It was very thin, light, and a bit flavorless-- not a thick foam as compared to Happy Lemon. Other than that we tried the popcorn chicken and it was very good. Homemade and not some frozen instant stuff. I'd go here again. read more

Even though it's a bit far away for me, I'm glad to have found this boba cafe. Their teas are really fresh and not the powdered mixes. Their takoyaki is always super hot, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside which is really rare to find. Their customer service is also really great, we didn't realize they were closing early and they still took our order. read more

Food: 10/10 Popcorn chicken and Takoyaki both some of the highest quality from a tea shop I've ever had. Service: 10/10 Staff friendly, fast and accurate. Ambiance: Clean, fresh and good vibes. Found this spot and decided to try it out. I got one of their popular drinks, the Tutti Fruiti with boba. I asked for it less sweet but I probably could've gone even less sweet but it was still really good and refreshing! The boba was a good consistency, soft and not too chewy. They have a wide variety of fruit teas, milk teas, and fried snacks! I would definitely come back to get boba and try their food next time if I'm in the area :) read more

Went here about 30 minutes before closing and the person working was very kind, welcoming, and provided great service. I ordered a honeydew milk tea and a waffle. Both were delicious. I'd go back for them. The store also gave us a 15% discount to celebrate Halloween. Will definitely be going back! read more

Service is fantastic, they honored a promo that was over. I would've been okay with understanding it was over, but they still honored it, so that was really nice & shows the kind of business they are! The staff were incredibly friendly and it was clean inside! I tried their peach GMT w/ almond milk and honey boba and honestly it was very mediocre. The honey boba tasted similar to the boba at a Sharetea or iTea, nothing too special. And I was disappointed to see my cup not topped off because I ordered no ice... not a big fan of places that do this. The tea wasn't bad but nothing impressive either, and I wish they had oat milk as well. I'd be down to try this place again since the service was very kind but it is not my go-to place read more

SO HAPPY with this boba shop! My husband and I have been several times since the soft opening in October. We're looking forward to many more visits because we live nearby! The menu is a great variety of milk teas and fruit smoothies. I believe there are plans in the future to add some snacks and food as well. The quality has been consistently good. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming. There are usually a few people around, but it's never been too crowded in the shop--although the parking lot is another story! Plan ahead and keep alert out there. I haven't quite been able to make it over to Breaktime Tea in the morning to try any of the coffee beverages on the menu, but can attest to the deliciousness of the honeydew, piña colada, and Oreo smoothies. This shop is cute, clean, and comfortable. I'd love to see some outdoor seating introduced once the weather permits! Other than that, keep up the great work, Breaktime team. Welcome to the community! Got a grand opening discount so that was nice. Lychee tea was nice and floral/fruity. Size is appropriate for the price. I wish I had more aloe bits in the other drink (taro milk tea) but unfortunately it was more tea than taro. I'll be back for more yummy sweet tea and hopefully tasty menu items! read more

Really liked the renovations. This location used to be a Starbucks, then froyo joint. Now it's a boba place run by a really nice couple. The drinks are really good and the nicely done renovations makes it a nice place to kick back, chill or hangout. It's clean new and quite cool. But this location is cursed and businesses don't survive, so I really encourage all y'all to get out there and show some love, LOL. Btw, we did pickup. But next time we're going to hang. read more

Me and a couple friends went here to die down and relax after a long day of work but was met with a really suffocating environment. It was just very humid inside that all of us felt uncomfortable- even though the store was empty. We all ordered boba, which didn't taste that good and could've been better.; The brown sugar of my friend's brown sugar milk tea started to move down to the bottom of the cup after a few minutes of not drinking it- which I have never seen before. Anyway, we also got food but it was... a little weird. One of us got an Oreo cheesecake and it honestly tasted really stale. It was 5 whole dollars for a really really thin slice of cheesecake which I feel like was not worth it especially because of the taste. Another one of us got garlic fries and popcorn chicken I think and both of them were really Interesting tasting. the garlic fries were starchy and hard to eat while the popcorn chicken was red in the inside and cold. I can't say that the workers were nice or not because we barely saw them in the front of the store. The only time we saw them was when they gave us our food and took our orders. read more

I absolutely love coming here with my boyfriend the workers are super sweet and the menu has a good variety! Everything we have gotten has tasted so yummy . Love them! Really hoping their business does well and they stay. So happy to have this lil gem right there, Very friendly and welcoming. Super clean! Like refreshingly clean. You can sit and chat and hang out. Everything we've had has been delish. I really like the Mango smoothie. They use fresh mangos and it's very refreshing and delish. You can add boba too, but I like it jus regular. Brown sugar milk tea is so pretty, like a piece of art. Not too sweet, jus right. The Oreo cookies and cream smoothie is also a fav. Pricing is average going rate. Just learned they have snacks too! read more

Good boba place! Good spot to hang out with friends and study. I go occasionally after school to wind down and have a refreshing drink. The hours are perfect for me since I have a club after school. Whenever I'm in the mood for something fresh I know I can go here. My top picks are the Peach Green tea, Passion Fruit Green tea, Mango Green tea, and the Lychee Green tea. I usually get them with the mango stars. They offer rewards as well which I think is great! You can get a cute keychain, free toppings, or a free drink! The staff is so nice. It was strawberry and lychee tea mixed together and I enjoyed the flavor profile it has. Though the strawberry did overpower the lychee a little bit, they both still worked together. Overall, I found this drink refreshing. I do enjoy myself teaspoon here and there, and I like their new drinks the come up with. I look forward to coming back again.

Absolutely the best way to cool down! I was thrilled to discover Ice Monster in Walnut Creek! Not only can I get an authentic Taiwanese shaved ice, but they have an incredible variety of ice flavors (strawberry, mango, green tea, etc) and toppings. They also have boba tea (which also originated in Taiwan), milk tea, regular ice cream, freshly cooked Chinese finger foods, and more. The place has tables inside and out and is always immaculate. I also really appreciate that they don't add the problem of landfills overflowing with plastics! They use real dishes and real silverware. I don't know of any other place that conscientious. I have been going here for 8 years. It was started by a couple from Taiwan and the owners the last several years are from China. They keep the place open seven days a week, but even with that grueling work schedule, the customer service is always fantastic. They go out of their way to keep their customers happy. Apparently, I'm not the only one who loves the place, because when school gets out, the place is filled with teenagers and families with children. It's a great place to hang out. I've tried other places in the East Bay, but this is my absolute favorite place for Chinese shaved ice, boba tea, and other yummy foods. I can't recommend them highly enough!

After my Thai food dinner, I check in a new boba shop next door, Breaktime Tea I believe. I got myself an Okinawa milk tea with boba. The boba is sweet and chewy, best texture boba. My son got a ice cream egg waffle. It looks good as come out. My son finish it in the car before we get home. I will try a waffle with ice cream next time.
