Started my journey here December 2021 and have seen so much growth not just physically but…read morementally. This gym is all about culture and accountability. You meet people from different age groups with the same goal. The coaches hold you accountable for the goals you have set for yourself. They have one on one meetings with you to make sure you are making those changes outside of the gym. If you struggle with making life style changes and holding yourself accountable I highly recommend you try out their free week to see if this is your type of environment. The affirmations during the aftermath of the workouts are extremely uplifting...a huge plus. Schedule is from Monday-Saturday, each day targets something different and some days are HIIT style workouts. They have all types of equipment and will modify the workouts for you depending on the level of strength you are currently at. Once in a while they will have yoga classes, stretch exercising classes and nutritional seminars. Lastly they have 2 early bird time windows, a mid day and 2 night schedules, so if you have a weird work schedule they most likely have a workout time frame for you! You really get your moneys worth, highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience with Hodges Fitness and ultimately decided to cancel my…read moremembership. When Hodges Fitness first communicated that members needed to arrive on time, I was told that the concern was because people arriving late was disrespectful to the coaches and other members. Later, the explanation changed to being a matter of "safety." I found the changing explanation frustrating and confusing. I also spoke directly with the owner, Teresa Hodges, about the required warm-up. I explained that I prefer to do my own warm-up because I run before class and therefore have already warmed up. I was told that I still needed to arrive for the class and could simply sit there rather than participate in the warm-up. I found this unreasonable. I am paying for a membership, and I believe how I choose to warm up before participating in a workout should be my personal choice, provided I am not creating a safety issue for myself or others. Things became even more frustrating when the facility began locking the doors once a class had started, including when someone was only a few minutes late. On one occasion, I arrived late and found myself locked out. Since I could not enter through the front door, I took it upon myself to enter through the back entrance of the building so that I could attend the class. I subsequently received a message from staff telling me that I was only permitted to use the front entrance. While I understand having designated entrances, that becomes a problem when members are locked out of the front door. Another issue occurred when I had to cancel a class because a doctor's appointment unexpectedly ran much longer than anticipated. I notified Teresa that I had experienced an unexpected medical issue and realized that, although I could still make it to the class, I would be late. Teresa waived the $15 cancellation fee, which I appreciated, but I was still charged an additional $10 late-arrival fee. My biggest concern is that the five-minute late-arrival rule and the practice of locking the doors were not disclosed in the membership contract that I signed. I specifically raised this concern with the owners and explained that, had I known these rules were part of the membership expectations, I would not have joined the facility. To be clear, my issue is not with the coaches. The coaches were great, and I enjoyed working with them. My issue is with what I found to be overly rigid, petty, and unreasonable policies regarding attendance, warm-ups, and late arrivals. If you are someone who prefers to do your own warm-up or who may occasionally be a few minutes late due to circumstances beyond your control, I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing the facility's policies before joining. After I ultimately quit the gym, I also took the time to write a review and explain my concerns directly. I never received a response from the owners. Overall, I believe the membership experience could have been much better with clearer communication, more reasonable policies, and greater consideration for individual circumstances.

New Day CrossFit (NDCF) is not your ordinary CrossFit box / gym. It's a community, a family. They…read moreare welcoming of all people no matter your skillset or your background. I joined NDCF a couple of months ago & I couldn't be happier, or in better shape, after choosing to go with NDCF. I have arthritis in both of my shoulders. NDCF was the first gym / box that did not push me away because my mobility was limited or try to push towards a one-on-one personal trainer program that I just couldn't afford. Everyone at NDCF has been very understanding of my situation, kind, motivating & is determined to see me succeed in my goals; not theirs. All the coaches work with me to ensure that I can do the exercises / movements successfully, even if it is modified version, until I gain mobility and strength the necessary areas & joints. They do not push you to do anything that could hurt you. In just a couple of months I have lost 10 lbs., I know it's not much, but it is to me. My family, friend, & co-workers have even noticed a change in me. Not just the physical change, which they have noticed & they all like, but a mental change. My self-confidence has started to come back, I'm happier, & healthier. Thank you NDCF Family!!

I can't say enough great things about Emilio and this gym. I did personal training with him, and he…read morewas genuinely invested in helping me reach my goals; even offering to let me train with his prize fighters. This gym offers much more than Muay Thai, with programs for both adults and kids. More importantly, it's a family, not just a gym. Emilio is humble, relatable, and has a huge heart for fitness and for kids. I've seen firsthand how he goes above and beyond, hosting Parents' Night Out events and ensuring every child can participate, regardless of a family's financial situation. The only reason I no longer attend is because our schedules no longer aligned. If you're looking for a gym that truly cares about its members and community, this is it.

When I got there, he was very welcoming and invited me to join the others upstairs that were training. Since I wanted to get a solo workout, he let me work out on the 1st floor (variety of bags & mat space). he put some music on and let me get my workout in. There were variety of folks here from fighters that were training for upcoming fights to people of all ages, men & women getting their training in. Everyone was super nice & welcoming. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely stopping by for a workout! Also, since I didn't bring any gear from home, they had everything available for purchase, gloves & wraps at very good prices and great quality. This gym is truly a gem. I travel across the country & have visited many gyms. This gym is definitely a special vibe. Thank you to all the coaches & athletes for welcoming me!
