There is a lot of camaraderie and laughter. The trainers watch out for you and always have modifications ready if there is a certain move you can't do. I always walk out sweaty and tired in the best way. This has been my first experience with weightlifting. I joined up after doing a month of physical therapy for chronic pain. I was very worried about feeling pressure to go too heavy or too fast, but instead I've gotten a lot of encouragement to go at my own pace and to focus on correct form. LeeAnn is especially caring and really looks out for her clients. She listens to you and puts a lot of thought and personalization into the individual sessions based on your needs and abilities. I joined NDCF a couple of months ago & I couldn't be happier, or in better shape, after choosing to go with NDCF. I have arthritis in both of my shoulders. NDCF was the first gym / box that did not push me away because my mobility was limited or try to push towards a one-on-one personal trainer program that I just couldn't afford. Everyone at NDCF has been very understanding of my situation, kind, motivating & is determined to see me succeed in my goals; not theirs. All the coaches work with me to ensure that I can do the exercises / movements successfully, even if it is modified version, until I gain mobility and strength the necessary areas & joints. They do not push you to do anything that could hurt you. In just a couple of months I have lost 10 lbs., I know it's not much, but it is to me. My family, friend, & co-workers have even noticed a change in me. Not just the physical change, which they have noticed & they all like, but a mental change.
