Not fabulous, but not horrible. Unfortunately, the first thing I noticed when walking in was the smell. It smelled like an old, wet rag was being used to clean the tables and that smell didn't leave my nose until my breakfast was done. My husband seemed enjoy his country fried steak and eggs. Made a visit to Breakers since we were in town picking up a cake from Mazzetti's. Upon stepping in the atmosphere quickly felt warm, bright, and friendly; this warm environment was supported by the many large windows that filtered natural sunlight. We also had a polite, patient waitress who offered to take my dad's omelette dish to be remade, after notifying her he was lactose. I had the crab panini, which came with fries on the side; delicious sandwich it was, and the fries were pretty on point. On a warmer, sunny day, I'd recommend taking a nice stroll on the beach to walk off your meal. read more

We were a party of 5 so it took a little while for us to get seated on a Sunday around 1230 but once we were seated, everything moved quickly. I had the hot links scramble, while others had the eggs Louis (crab Benedict) and the turkey crepe. The food was excellent and were generous portions - the only downside was that they didn't serve the iced teas that we had ordered but charged us anyway. They were happy enough to take it off the bill once we had asked but it a minor inconvenience. Overall, very good though! read more

Forgot to punch in order on POS or "technical difficulties", so 3 tables that ordered after got their food: not the end of the world, so its all good, mistakes happen. For people who get mad and are not in a time rush, be glad thats the worst of your worries. When they realized the order wasn't in, they provided fruit and a discount: really nice gesture. Second time I came here, today, the service was still terrible, and the huevos Rancheros that I ordered was quite possibly the worst breakfast dish I've ever had. First and foremost, the location of this place is gorgeous. While you wait for your seat you can walk down the way to see a beautiful view of the ocean. Perfect for taking in the beauty that is Pacifica. That being said, I would probably rate my breakfast a lot less then the overall but there were a few reasons why I chose to up the overall rating. Let's start with the food, I ordered an Eggs Benedict and I have to add that I pretty much order this everywhere I go. It was a little cold, the English muffin was really dry and hard to eat. I was pretty disappointed BUT then I ate the hash browns and, ahh, delicious! They were warm, a little crunchy, not too salty, and overall satisfying. The decor was nice, and I was fortunate to sit at a place where I saw the ocean, score! It was really crammed but, that wasn't a big deal. The staff was really nice and VERY quick. We did have to wait a while but they were very fast when it came to turn around with food and ordering. Basically, the food wasn't OUTSTANDING, but I think I'd come back for these reasons: quick service, great employees, amazing area. Worth the wait! There is a reason why there is a line out the door. Fortunately they do take reservations. But it only took about 10-15 minutes for the friendly host to get us our table. But with a beachfront view, we didn't mind the wait. The place was hopping. The mood was fun but not too frenetic. Our server, Jenny, was on top of her game and made our experience memorable. She earned an excellent tip. The food was on point. Scrumptious. Not greasy. My crab crepes, light, fresh and fluffy; hashbrown potatoes, crispy on the outside and steamy delicious on the inside; the double thick raisin bread french toast was almost a desert meal on its own. Plus, you get your own pot of tasty artisan coffee and the OJ, sweet fresh squeezed, had just the right amount of pulp. Service was eh. Waiter took forever to take our order, and he seemed disinterested. Wasn't the most friendliest. Burger was pretty good and they super melted the cheese which is pretty rare. This is the only reason I gave it a 2 Star. The poached eggs with crab....I order this all the time when I'm out for brunch, specifically because I can't cook it. Apparently neither can they. It felt like it took forever to come out, and when it finally did the egg was super over cooked and didn't have the gooey goodness one would expect from a poached egg. It was ok - there's no sea view like I read in some of the reviews (?!). We arrived and they told us an outdoor table would be a 10 minute wait. After 35-40mins we were seated but not before I had to keep asking if they were going to clear It/seat us while it sat empty. Food was decent, pretty straightforward breakfast food. I know this place just opened so its going to take a while for them to work out the kinks. We're local so we plan on trying it again, but I also want to be honest on my review. 1. Bad service - we sat at table for 10+ minutes before getting a menu and had to ask someone to take our order after another 15 or so minutes. My food was cold when given to me (after waiting 25 minutes) so my server probably didn't pick it up or it was left on a counter for a while. Cold eggs & toast kinda sucks but i was hungry hippo at that point. Then we waited about 25 more minutes after we were done eating for our bill. We actually asked the bus boy for our bill! Oh - and our coffee was never refilled. Not once were checked on during any portion of our visit (Whig is why we asked for help a few times - ie: getting menus, ordering, asking for a fork, etc) 2. Menu is WAY to big & complicated - they need to slim in down! Focus on making good food!!! Ps - "salsa" is NOT pace picante - I'm kinda an annoying stickler about this as we live in California and most of the people in that kitchen are probably Latino! (Forgive me if that sounds in any way racist - i am making a realistic assumption but i have no proof or knowledge of who works in their kitchen). Serve real pico de gallo if u r going to have so many items on your menu that have salsa as a part of the meal. 3. Food was subpar - as I said my scrambled eggs, toast, and hash browns (which were burnt and prefrozen) and sausages were cold so it was hard to tell, but for something so simple the food should taste good. It was "okay". 4. Great location, beautiful light, remodeled with "beachy" colors & nice photography on the walls. They have a great idea (love that u get free coffee while u wait - although the dispenser was empty when we got there and still empty when we left). I wish them luck and I hope they get it together so we can come visit again soon. PS - I must note that the busboy noticed we were waiting a long time for our bill. He asked if we were okay and if the food was good. My husband told him food was cold and we waited a really long time for service & then for bill. He was really gracious and told him he would get the manager who took 1/2 off our bill and apologized (and gave us a few excuses as well - wish he would just owned up to it - hoped we'd visit again soon, etc) but major props to that busboy and to the manager for at least attempting good customer service. read more

My friend took me out as I wallowed in the despair of my recent breakup on a slightly hungover Monday morning. After deciding that brunch in Pacifica sounded much better than showing my puffed-up eyes around my office, we headed down to try out Breakers. The staff seemed to be really nice, but largely we were not taken very good care of. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries for her 3 yr old daughter, and we split the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a marinated salad, because what else would make newly single Crys feel better than a Bacon Cheeseburger? The menu is extensive and I was eyeballing the pastrami sandwich and will likely go back to try it. A bit pricey for what it is, around $12 for each meal. We ordered and the restaurant started to clear out from the late breakfasters, and we waited and waited and waited for probably 30 minutes before we asked what the status of our food was. Then another five minutes or so before it was brought out. It was just pure silliness given how few people were there, and the simplicity of our orders. The food was very good, maybe we caught them on an off day. I want to go back and give them another try as they seem to be nice folks and the location is killer: literally one door up from Rockaway Beach. read more

Had a great breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10:00. Got a great seat with a view of the ocean. Service was good, my friend and I both order coffee and they left us a pot on the table. The coffee was excellent. I had an egg dish with crab and spinach on a toasted english muffin. The crab was Dungeons crab with hollandaise sauce - so good! My friend had their special for the day which was chicken fried steak with a country gravy with mushrooms, also very good. I'll definitely go back again. read more

I loved this place! So conveniently located near the hotel and service was great. We stayed at the Best Western and it took us less than a minute to get there by walking. It's located right next to our hotel lobby. I wasn't expecting much because I figured the place was for tourists. Well, they blew my socks off. The service was great first off. We were seated immediately and served immediately and the place was packed! Our server was very attentive and nice as can be. I ordered the hot tea to start and they brought a whole slew of tea options to the table! Got to love having options. Oh and my server never let my hot water run out for my tea, not that's good service. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and side of bacon. The bacon was crispy just like we ordered and the eggs Benedict was tasty! The egg was perfectly poached, nice and runny when I cut into it and perfectly coated my very large crab cake Benedict. The crab cakes were so big! I got full after eating one of the two and after devouring my perfectly cooked hash browns. Had the chicken sausage and Gouda frittata with hash browns. Really good looking and tasty plate. Big pot of coffee set right on my table as well as a pitcher of water (when I asked for water). Great service, polite, prompt and genuine hospitality from all of the employees I interacted with, especially my server. Hard to chose my meal as so many things looked tempting. I peeked at other plates around me and all looked neat and delicious. Sometimes breakfast places just slop items on the plate but not this place. Reasonable prices for what I got and saw. Bacon Waffle!? I mean come on! That was delicious. I already can't wait to go back again. We also ordered the crab cake benedict which was tasty. Our server made sure that our eggs were poached hard just like we like em. Service was nice, food was good. It gets toasty in there because of the sun room but not too bad. I am docking a star because it seems like their wait list was a little funky that day, a couple who came in after us were seated right away while we had to wait another several minutes.
