Rockingham County's best bread. Hands down would recommend. You'll have to buy 6 loaves to last 2 days because it's so good.

When I was there it was about noon and there wasn't much left to choose from. I would like to go back earlier in the day to try other items.

Love + Flour Bakery - Cosmic brownie

I came across Love + Flour's booth at Snowport in Boston, so this review is for their baked goods…read moreand not the physical location. But now that I know they're in Salem, I'll be visiting very soon! The macarons were front and center in the booth, and I kept goggling at how beautiful they were. They are slightly larger macarons with generous fillings and bejeweled shells ($3.75 each). I asked the person manning the booth what her favorites were (sugar cookie and cookie dough), but I still had trouble deciding which to try, there were so many unique flavors. She was very helpful though. Macarons are generally gluten free, but some flavors had cookie or cake crumbs and were labeled as containing gluten (fyi all served in the same case). These macarons were certainly not dairy free, but I decided to try them anyways; they were way too tempting. The Tall Man and I ended up getting a guava and a gingerbread macaron. His dad got a pistachio and a cosmic brownie (typical brownie vs the peppermint version). If I had known he was going to get some, it would have made more sense to get a half dozen. Macarons aren't cheap cookies, but they were certainly worth it. The guava was the plainest in appearance and taste. It wasn't decorated, and only the shell was flavored not the cream; it was too subtle and could have used a jam. The gingerbread was my favorite of our choices, spicy and not overly sweet with a nice textural crunch with the mini gingerbread sprinkles. The cosmic brownie had fun chunky sprinkles and a very fudgy texture, which was more brownie than macaron like (probably intentionally), but the taste was like a typical brownie so I would get something different next time. I didn't get to try the pistachio, but my father in law enjoyed it, and he doesn't even like cookies. Everything on display was beautifully fun to look at. I was also intrigued by their hot chocolate bombs and cake jars, but more as eye candy since they were full of gluten and dairy (but would make for great gifts!).

Fantastic service. Beautiful dessert display and gelato. Lots of cheese, meats, wine etc. located in a lovely area with shops and restaurants. Love, love, love. Restaurant review; Stopped in and sat in the patio. It was a beautiful day. They have a great selection of drinks. I had the salmon and hubby had the bolognese both very good and well priced. The waiter messed up our drink order twice but I was so content sitting there that we gave grace and honestly didn't care. If anything, we tried something new. Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely will come back. Very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful setting to just go relax and enjoy the day.

We met our friends here for dinner while on the East Coast. This is their absolute favorite…read morerestaurant and they are here often, but on this particular night we received nothing but issues. The evening started off on the wrong foot slightly after we were seated, the waitress spilled an entire glass of ice water on a friend, and then instructed her to stand up so she could clean up under the table - which caused her to be in an awkward all eyes on her situation in the center of the restaurant. Her husband walked her to the restroom in hopes to get her dried off slightly but even after being there for over 2 hours, she was still soaked from the thighs down. We all make mistakes and we told her that, no ill will. We all ordered drinks and were looking at entree options. We placed our orders with our server, my friends ordered meals to split and a salad that was requested to be split into 2 bowls, when a food runner brought it over shortly after in one bowl, he asked that it be split into two bowls, in which she brough over an extra bowl for him to split it himself. He requested a 2nd salad be brought out instead - when she brought out the second salad, she tossed it causing the bowl to slam down on the table in front of him. He requested to speak to the manager - in which both the server and the food runner went to the manager and discussed the "salad mishap" as they all laughed within ear shot. When the manager came over, he asked to speak to her aside from the table and explained the continued issues; while he was speaking to her the server came back over to fill our drinks and with a sour expression and attitude asked if we wanted a new server, and stated she thinks we should have a new server since he looked pretty pissed off...well you would be upset too if your wife was soaking wet. The manager got us a new server and a round of drinks. The next round of drinks came out and mine had rosemary in it as a garnish - which I am allergic to. This was not in my first round nor listed on the menu so that was just another issue we encountered during the evening. Our new server Hailey went above and beyond for us and her other tables and was an extremely kind and talented server. The concept of the restaurant was really cool with a market, deli & bakery counter where you could purchase any of the items they use on the menu, they also offered cooking classes in the rear of the restaurant. They had a beautiful outdoor area with heated patio and outside firepits and beer garden next door. The food was great, unfortunately the attitude of the server and food runner really soured our evening. And because of that I don't think I would return to this establishment if back in the area. I truly hope that those servers/runners get
