Great little stop along the highway. The menu was simple yet had lots of items. Service was excellent and the place felt homey. There was even a playhouse for kids. Check it out. Cant ask for better scenery in the heart of Plumas Eureka.

    Gorgeous view!

Spent the weekend in Graeagle, one of my favorite places! Blairsden is host to Bread and Butter a cute little place to grab a bite and sit outside. The food truck is parked in a small lot fenced in with tables and chairs and even a cute kids corner. The menu has something for everyone from sandwiches on homemade bread, fish tacos, burgers and breakfast items. They have wine, beer and sodas. My sandwich was off the kids menu and even a half was huge! I ordered chips and a drink also and was given a cup with ice after asking. I would eat here again!

Honestly thought I'd reviewed this already. It's a wonderful place to get a sandwich or something fancier. There's burgers and fish tacos and quinoa and grilled cheese...honestly I believe everyone can find something to eat. I'm in love with their egg salad sandwich. First, it's HUGE. I always save half for another meal. Second, it's incredibly freshly made egg salad, and full of flavor. Finally, definitely choose the homemade bread option. It's amazing and just ups the level of the sandwich immensely. They are super friendly...and it's always busy but it never takes that long to get your food. Extremely efficient. I've got to go back at breakfast time to try that menu cuz it also looks amazing.

Chicken Teriyaki with Mac and cheese and sliced cucumbers. YUM!! Enough for 2.

We were told by a waitress at another restaurant to try this place for lunch. It is basically a food truck that stays on this piece of property. They have a cute fence around it and lots of seating places. The menu has a lot of great choices. They had a Chicken Teriyaki dish as their Special of the Day. My husband and I split it. It was definitely enough for 2 people. Whatever the sauce was made this dish exceptional. We are so glad we stopped and would definitely recommend Bread and Butter. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I only wish this place would've been here when I went to high school here! Came back for my reunion and was told this was a must stop and I absolutely concur. The portions are huge. Food is great. Will definitely come back when visiting.

Went there for lunch the other day and it wasn't all the best to us we ordered a cheeseburger and had it split with fries which were delicious but when the hamburger came it was rare in the center my husband took it back and she said no that's medium and you should have asked for it well done ,well we didn't know it was going to be a 1 inch thick hamburger but they did remake it for us and we were able to eat it. I do think they should be more careful and temp their hamburgers before they give them to the customer. May not be back to try another lunch. Thank you for your rude comment. As many of your reviews state, the staff is on the rude and unpleasant side. And I double checked your menu online and cannot see anywhere it says how your burgers are cooked, our burger was RARE, no doubt about it. If you treat you customers in the manner we were treated, the rest of your business life well not be good.

My bomb sandwich On homemade bread

I was most impressed coming back to Plumas County and finding bread and butter. First things first, they have a homemade bread that is fabulous. I had a turkey sandwich and the turkey was rotisserie. So yummy. You can also order a side of berries and from my picture you can see how glorious that is. I am always looking for healthier choices and out here that has always been an issue. Not anymore! Now I can get an incredible sandwich on homemade bread with berries. I will be back over and over and over. My only complaint is they stop serving breakfast at 11 AM. That is probably normal for most people but not me. They have a cinnamon roll that I am dying to try. They are huge and delicious I am told. Hopefully a cinnamon roll will be in my future...

Everything bagel add tomatoes and a side of yum bacon.

First off, if you are an entitled high maintenance dbag go somewhere else. Actually go back to the city where you came from since mountain folk don't put up with a lot of bullshit and you will inevitably get butthurt at most of the businesses. If you're a chill person you will love it here. Staff has always been friendly. Maybe because I'm friendly with them? Burgers are great and they have a lot of healthy/veggie food options. Had the grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed the freshness. The bagels with added tomatoes are a great start to the day, especially with a side of delicious bacon. They serve food at a higher quality level than many of the places in neighboring Graeagle, and you can taste it. With quality comes a wait. Coming here hangry might be a challenge. Food takes a while since it's prepared fresh by a couple people. Be patient, enjoy the fine mountain air, and be kind. Delicious food will be your reward.

I am so glad to have finally swung back to this place, as it is a diner I've been desperately wanting to give a second shot. Bread & Butter is located right off the highway in Blairsden, making it a very easy and convenient place to grab a bite when passing by. One of the best parts about this establishment is the seating. This restaurant is a converted food truck that serves up its fare right out of its side windows. All the seating is outdoors, with the tables all set in a nice outdoor garden-like environment with amazing views out over the valley and mountains. Stop by here on any summer afternoon, and the place will be brimming with folks enjoying the scenery as well as the food. This alone is enough to make me want to swing by yet again when the weather turns nice again. The menu is takes on American fare, with burgers, sandwiches, sides and the like. The corndogs are pretty epic here, I must say. But today I ended up with their grilled cheese sandwich, which was done up to pretty darn near perfection. Gooey and melty, on thick slices of their fluffy house-made bread. Two thumbs way, way up for this one, as taking a bite out of the sandwich helped to take a bit out of the cool, breezy, autumn day. Prices here are a tad higher than similar sorts of diners, but it is nowhere near nosebleed, and I would say it is well worth the extra couple dollars considering the quality you get, and the fact that the portions are Hefty with a capital "H". Pretty much everything is made by hand, which both makes it that much better, but can also lead to a little bit of a wait time if there is a line of people. But you can while away the time enjoying the scenery and conversation, and today I lucked out in that, being one of the last relatively nice weather days of the season, there was no wait and the order came out lightning quick. All in all, this is a fantastic little spot for breakfast or lunch, and I am glad to have gotten a chance to revisit it. I will certainly make it a point to swing back through when next I am traveling along the Feather River.

    Biscuits and gravy! Phenomenal.

We appreciate the new owners for keeping the restaurant very much like Chris and Randi left it. It still has the home town vibe, great food, fair pricing and l look forward to a summer full of great food and fun times.

We had dinner last evening at the Grizzly Grill, which has just been taken over by the same owners…read moreof The Iron Door, and unfortunately the food was not anywhere up to par with the old Grizzly Grill ... or with the new price point. We ordered one Double Pork Chop entree and two Mahi Mahi entrees, one of which we sent back and exchanged for Pot Roast, and ALL of the entrees were extremely disappointing! The pork chop was just OK and was served with a baked potato (which was very good) and seasonal vegetables, which were bland. The "grilled Mahi Mahi", which was a special of the night and served over Pesto Rissoto, which looked and tasted like green eggs and ham, was prepared pan seared, not grilled, and the look, texture, and taste was more like an old frozen swordfish steak ... dense, rubbery, tasteless, and not grilled! The waiter was very reluctant to take the Mahi back and replace it with Pot roast, which was finally accomplished; however, the pot roast tasted like Swiss steak, but we decided to try a dessert and ordered traditional beignets, which were over cooked and burnt. So ... all in all ... the "new" Grizzly Grill did not meet expectations and we won't be returning‍ when price points exceed the quality of food, major changes need to be made!
