What a surprise. This little restaurant at the golf course was excellent. Very quick service. A nice view of the golf course. And the French dip sandwich was one of the best I've ever had... generous portion of smoked steak strips with a unique dipping sauce. Crisp and tasty french fries. Several years ago we were on a dream house search in the area. We stopped into Graeagle Meadows and sat out on their fabulous patio sipping excellent cocktails and enjoying the gorgeous mountain/golf course views. We have returned so many times. With a large family group, just the two of us, for breakfast, lunch, and in the winter dinner. The staff is friendly and the customer service is both attentive and great. Every single time! Everything about this place is great! From the excellent service that they provide to the Fast turn around in which they bring the food. Everything went like clockwork for our lunch. I've been going here for about 7 years. Management has changed a few times in that time period. The management has been consistent the last few years, they've made helpful adjustments to be open when other things are not. Food and service has improved. It's a 5min walk from my place. I have eaten here many times in the past. Very comfortable place with a wonderful view. The service is always excellent. I had a chicken salad sandwich and it was good. My wife had a BLT and she enjoyed it. I had a piece of the bacon and it was cooked great!!!! My only complaint is with the french fries. I don't care for texture of them. I think they dip them in something but I'm not sure. If you want to enjoy lunch in a calm, cool environment, this is the place! read more

Stopped in for dinner, the pork chop was fabulous. Decorated for Christmas and the fire was warm and cozy. It was wonderful.

Sunday Brunch in Graeagle! One of the few places in Graeagle that are open on Sunday for breakfast and lunch til 2pm. Great golf course views with seating inside near the cozy fireplace or outside on the deck during the beautiful spring, summer and fall mornings. We arrived around 1230pm and ordered the deli sandwich with the BEST battered fries, grilled chicken sammie loaded with goodies and a side green salad with champagne vinaigrette, club sandwiches on sourdough. Everything came out quickly and was served by our super nice waitress which perfectly prepared fresh and delicious for us all. Nice big parking lot with room for motorcycles too. read more

And we did come back a year later! This time with a group of 12! We came a bit after lunch hours so a lot of items on the menu were unavailable. They did change up their menu from last year which is totally fine. New foods to try is always a plus. We had a little bit of everything- club sandwich, kids chicken tenders, spicy chicken sandwich, ahi salad, fries (just as good as I remembered!). No complaints. We came out for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The deck is beautiful looking over the golf course. Every time we've returned we enjoy sitting out there. We've ordered the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich, both great but I will say the breakfast sandwich is the winner. We get here a couple times each year. The food is good (we have had many items from the menu) and the staff is friendly. You can't beat sitting outside on the deck in good weather. We usually meet friends from Reno, so there's a lot to catch up on, and we never feel rushed. read more

This is one nice golf course restaurant, and I've been to many. I love the quiet rural setting out here in Graeagle. The staff here is friendly and quick to serve. I always like to sit outside when it's nice and that seems to end in about October each year. On this trip we had lunch here. We started with a couple of bottle of IPA .... There is no draft beer here. Nor is there a deep fryer in the kitchen, so no French fries with the burgers and sandwiches. If this is a real problem for you, you'd best be going maybe to Longboards at the other end of town. I endured, even though I just love fries with my burgers and sandwiches. For lunch, I had the beef dip served on grilled sourdough along with a side salad. My friend had the Condor sandwich which is Grilled turkey, Ortega chili, Pepper jack cheese and roasted red pepper aioli on toasted sourdough served with a green salad. Both sandwiches were about $14 each. Our lunches came out in a timely manner and were still hot to the touch. I just loved my Beef Dip on sourdough. The bread was grilled nice and crispy and had a nice texture to it. I was worried as has happen in other restaurants, that the meat would be skimpy and a disappointment. Not here! The meat was nice and thick and the au jus was perfect for dipping. It wasn't too salty of taste like it came from a mix, like some chain restaurants. My salad was nice and fresh and no iceberg lettuce either, nice fresh greens. My friend's turkey sandwich had real roast turkey in it, no processed pressed turkey here! All our food was very enjoyable. I'll come back here again, but maybe not till next year as come October depending on the weather, the restaurant will close for the season. read more

The season started off poorly for the restaurant. Limited menu, no substitutions, etc. They were originally going with a pub - order and pickup theme - that didn't last. They pivoted back to normal table service. The general staff was generally friendly and accomodating. The manager was not. She should not be hired to run the place again. My partner asked the waitress about a breakfast sandwich and getting the egg on the side and the manager was overheard, by us, saying the menu was as things would be served. This was followed on by a later (a month of so later) where my partner asked the waitress about a small substitution (again, on the order of something on the side). The waitress was incredibly polite and mentioned the kitchen doesn't do substitutions. The manager should not have the job. Eggs on the side of a breakfast sandwich isn't a "substitution" it's put an ingredient to the side. Coming to Graeagle for years, what is common is that a few restaurants survive because they "are open". And if you want to stay in town, the options are few. I hope next season there is a new management staff for this restaurant. read more

We sat on the deck with a perfect view. The chairs leaned back and were SO comfy. Brittany was taking care of us. She was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. Even another lady was there to talk to us and help us of needed. Finally the food was very delicious. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the Italian scramble. The biscuits and gravy were seasoned well. The scramble had a perfect balance of all of the ingredients. Both meals were very tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Bloody Mary, he loved it! Also, the bacon is amazing too...definitely recommend getting a side order of the bacon. read more

Very friendly service with a smile and neighborly small town chit chat. Good sized portions that are well prepared and tasty . . . particularly their breakfasts . . . and overall a very good value. The food at the Graeagle Meadows Restaurant is the best I've ever had! We went 2 days in a row! After having an amazing French Dip Panini accompanied by an off the hook Bloody Mary, we came the next day and had to share the amazing berry crepes (oh so yummy), Biscuits and Gravy (the biscuits were tasty and moist and the gravy had excellent sausage, good flavor, excellent texture and was not salty). And the Breakfast Panini had a ton of tender sliced ham, scrambled eggs and just an amazing flavor! Pricing was incredibly reasonable, and the service was the best I've experienced. Even though they are running on a skeleton crew, we never felt rushed or unimportant, and the staff didn't look as though they were "rushing" either. I will continue to patronize this amazing establishment for the amazing food and the sweet people working there. Thank you for being a pillar of what I've always known Graeagle Ca to be. read more

Went here for breakfast as we were in the area to golf and there are not a lot of choices. Very disappointed starting with the coffee which tasted burnt and for the first time ever, we sent back. They said made a new pot but the second cup wasn't much better. My friend had the breakfast burrito which he said was ok but bland and I just had pancakes which were also bland and dry. (I know, pancakes are always bland but there were particularly tasteless) the service was good and KD was very personable but for $32+ for not very much, bland food and terrible coffee was, again, disappointing. read more
