Not the first time my battery died but it was the first time it came with every other warning light. I was super stressed out and called AAA and they sent Jose H from Brea Towing. He was super nice and friendly, and he replaced my battery quickly and reassured me that all the other warning lights were a result of the battery as well. He also made sure that I got the discounted amount for the battery and everything. I was resigned to having a bad day but making conversation with him and getting the problem fixed so quickly definitely saved it :) read more

Unbelievably horrendous customer service. AAA Premier member for 30 years and this is the worst contractor AAA has. I scheduled a tow online via AAA because you can't get a real person ever and in the notes I wrote that my wife who is on the AAA account would meet the driver with the key in our driveway. It said the driver would arrive at 10:10am. He finally arrive at 10:50 but she wasn't concerned. Then he says he can't tow it because I'm not there with my ID in spite of her having her AAA card and ID and keys to the damn car. Luckily I work 2 miles from home so I raced home and he was leaving. I managed to get him to pull over and discussed it with him. He said my wife makes him feel unsafe (because she was firm and didn't understand why he couldn't two the car) so he cries to his dispatch and they tell him to leave. He calls dispatch back and they tell him they'll send another driver. So we're already inconvenienced by the car being down and Brea towing sends a driver who is a little bitch. This is the second poor experience with this company, the last time they broke the tie rod on my wife's car because they hooked it up wrong. They had to make it right when my mechanic showed the owner the evidence but they weren't happy about it. Stay away from Brea towing at all costs and AAA should drop them as a contractor. read more

My son and his two lady friends were locked out in down town Fullerton Saturday night After 2.5 hrs tow truck pulled up worker came out attempting to open scratched my son's Jeep in the process!! Turns to my son and said "you want to try I can't do it " My son said "no that's why we called a professional Meanwhile a lot of homeless walking around he said "I'll get someone out in 5 min he called in and said he was offered by my son ! Well if Brea towing hires people that don't know there job and leaves customers hanging in a dark unsafe area with 2 women I personally don't care about his feelings! The night operator at Brea tow was also no help knowing the situation with unsafe area dragged his feet in getting another truck to site!! 1.5 hrs later another truck pulled up almost 4 hrs after being called out ! The man who came at least was knowledgeable to open he was professional Luckily all worked out . If your a AAA member call a better company to respond to your emergency needs maybe Grams towing or Anaheim towing !! Management needs to really look into the quality of people they hire !!!! Disappointed in AAA for subcontracting Brea Towing with minimal knowledge and leaving people hanging!!! read more

Very poor communication. Drive past the only smashed car (mine) on the residential street at about 50mph and then claimed there was no car there. After finally getting the dispatcher to send him again an hour later. We had to stand in the street and block him from doing the same drive by. Once the vehicle was loaded and should have been on the way to drop off, the driver sat for 20 + minutes doing nothing. Then it took him over an hour to go 22 miles at 10pm. The driver was rude and very obviously didn't want to deal with his job. Just a fun fact; we drive the vehicle onto the flatbed. Again, we drove it not the tow person. read more

One of their trucks parked on my street and left the engine running. After 30 minutes I called their dispatch and asked that he shut it off as it's loud enough I can hear it from inside my house. 15 minutes later it's still running. The short caveman version: Car no go. Me call AAA. AAA send Brea Towing. Tow truck driver give me and boyfriend water and drop my car off at mechanic. Me very happy. Yesterday at lunch time I got in my car and started it, but it wouldn't engage.I called my mobile mechanic in training, my boyfriend. He went through it and said it was the fuel pump and it needed to be replaced and I needed to call AAA to tow it. AAA said it would be thirty minutes and recommended a few local mechanics to tow it to that were in the area. The tow truck showed up a little under thirty minutes and just before 5 o'clock. My only complaint was that he blocked a few cars and had to move his truck about three times to accomodate for the 5 o'clock rush out of work. Other than that, he was great! He even offered my boyfriend a cold bottle of water before I hopped in the truck with him (the boyfriend followed us) to go to the mechanic 6 miles away. I told the tow truck driver to please take the truck to Lawrence's auto repair off Harbor Blvd. BREA TOWING: "Why you take it to Lawrence?" ME: "Ahh cause he's close by and I know him." BREA TOWING:(raises eyebrow)"You know him?" ME:"Well I took my car there last year for a check engine light and he was cool. Why, should I not take it to him? Do you know something I don't know?" BREA TOWING: (cocks his head sideways and looks iffy)"We will take car wherever you want: San Diego, Big Bear, Los Angeles...wherever you want." It was like he knew something but he didn't want to influence my decision on which mechanic to take it to, but it left me pondering. Anyway he knew exactly where I needed to go and told me about his job and how he likes it and how it's slow during the school season and how offering customers cold bottled water usually changes their mood 90% of the time. We talked about his vacation to Texas and how the airline he took did not offer any water and charged people $5.99 for a coke and five grams of peanuts! Blasphemy! We then talked about his future vacation which will include a stop in either Istanbul or Constanti...Dubai. I tipped him $5 and he was on his way, but I forgot to get his name! I'm a horrible customer! Anyway, many thanks to the tow truck driver that made my day and helped me out! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I called this "company" at 5AM to jump my husbands dead battery. I was advised that there would be a 34 minute wait for assistance. Tell me WHYYYYYY I get a call 45 minutes later stating that we would have to wait an additional 30-45 minutes. After another hour of waiting I call and they let me know that they called the technician and got no answer. I waited two hours for no service to be provided. If you need to be at work on time do not go with this company! I get it, sometimes we have to go in late due to these things but not Three hours!!!!!! read more

Brea Towing was awesome! I wished I got the name of the guy that towed me to Valley Brothers Automotive in Brea on Monday late afternoon on April 26th at the 76 Union gas station at Imperial/State College Blvd. They were quick! I didn't have to wait the usual 45 minutes or longer to get a tow. No sooner did hang up the phone and wham! They were there! Sooooo efficient! They got my car on the tow truck bed and even beat me to Valley Brothers. Super quick and great service! Like I said, I wished I got the guy's name! He was super speedy, efficient and great customer service. I was home in just two hours from the time of my flat. read more

AAA customer of 13 years. Wife had a flat last night (5/26) on the shoulder of the freeway between Anaheim and Buena Park. Brea Towing/CA Roadside was assigned as the technician. Brea Towing/CA Roadside initial estimate for service was ~45 minutes (9:05pm), despite AAA having prioritized my wife and the dangerous situation she was in. The AAA agent made several attempts to contact Dispatch for updates to no success. Calls were ignored. Real time updates were left unfulfilled. Approximately ~30 mins AFTER our original estimate of 9:05pm, Brea Towing/CA Roadside Dispatch called me and lied that they had just received the service order (this was actually the re-sent service order that AAA issued in the face of unresponsiveness). Brea Towing/CA Roadside informed me that they were finally assigning a technician, and that it would be at least another half hour before they would reach my wife (bringing the total estimate of service to ~2hrs). I countered explaining that this situation was unacceptable, esp. considering the present danger of the freeway. Left with no other options, I explained that I wanted to file a complaint, to which Dispatch told me to do so through AAA and hung up on me. Dispatch refused to answer calls through the rest of the evening from both myself, and from the AAA agent. Having no operable information, and no other options, I had to drive ~45 mins to take care of my wife myself. At a minimum, the above illustrates the unconcerned, and unprofessional conduct of Brea Towing/CA Roadside. With no evidence that your organization cares about its customers' safety, or that communication is essential in moments like these, consequently, I will do the only thing I can: work with AAA on the complete decertification of your vendor status. read more

I gave them 3 stars because the first half was 1 star (should be negative star) and the 2nd half was 5 stars. We waited over an hour and a half for a tow. The first driver claimed he came by and we weren't there, and that he texted us and called us. That's 3 lies. We were sitting in a small, empty parking lot, with only one entrance, and he never came by. He never texted. He never called. We called AAA again, they said they would send someone else, and then things got better. When our 2nd driver arrived, he was friendly, polite, and took excellent care of us. If he had been the one dispatched originally, this would be a 5-star review read more

Left me stranded in the freeway and blocked me. This Brea phone number stopped picking up and the driver called confirmed my location and I sent my location through iMessage he was 3 mins away and never showed. I'm currently still stranded on the freeway and this company could care less. On top of that they tried to ask for $120 to tow my vehicle home only 7 miles and this is a triple service call. Shady business literally left me stranded with the ability to help I even begged if he could come take me off the free I'm on a bridge I need justice 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I got Brea Towing through AAA and am very happy with the speed of arrival, courtesy of staff, and professional service.

I wish I could give them less than 1. I got hit on my motorcycle in Fullerton at 7am. I called aaa who dispatched this company to come pick up my non rideable bike and tow it. I was given a pick up time of 10:03am. At 9:26 I got a text that the driver was at the location. I looked around and walked around but saw no truck. At 10:10 I called aaa again and they said the driver said that he did not find me. I pushed my bike to an actual address and tried again. AAA told me they would have someone from brea towing dispatch call me and tell me when they would arrive in a few minutes. I waited another hour and called aaa again. By now the operator that would get on the line already knew my name and location without me telling them. They sent out the request to dispatch they said and said the truck should be at my location within 30 minutes. After another hour I called aaa again, and again they knew my name and location. This time the operator put me on hold and called brea towing. After about 3 minutes they came back on the line and said they just spoke to the dispatch and dispatch would be calling me within minutes and that they just sent out a truck who would be at my location in 15 min. About 45 min or so later I get a text that said the technician was at the address I had given and the map showed the truck half block away. So I walked over to the location of where the map said the truck was ( where the map showed the location of the truck is a baseball field not a parking lot) I walked to the baseball field and around the building that I had given the address of to make sure it wasn't behind the build because there is parking there too. No truck was located or seen. I'd like to mention now that they had my cell phone number since the very 1st call I placed and aaa told me that they would contact me but not one person dispatch or driver tried contacting me ever. By now I was pissed off. It's like 2:30-3pm I've been in pain all day without any comfortable place to sit. I've had nothing to eat cuz I'm not able to ride anywhere to get food and if I walk somewhere my luck a tow truck will show up. I called my wife and told her about the great day I was having. I vented a little about how shitty brea towing is and how aaa is a joke for dealing with companies like this for their clients and that I was gonna walk to uhaul and rent a truck and load up the bike and be able to just get back home in Lake Forest. She said to wait and she called aaa. They had her on hold for about 45 min meanwhile her and I were texting. She tells me after the operator got back on the line and told her brea towing was dispatched and someone was in route. She replied they've been in route since 10 am and requested another tow company. She text me that another company had been dispatched to come get me. I received a phone call from a technician/driver right away with Alhambra towing. He told me that he was 29 minutes from my location and was on his way and sent me a real time map of his exact location. When we loaded up the bike and I sat in his truck was the first time I was able to sit on something other than a curb. At about 7 pm I was finally able to walk into my house, get something to eat and clean up my road rashes from that morning. It took me more than 12 hours to get back home. Also missed work that day and the next cuz I needed to recuperate from all the crap I had to put up with the day before. Needless to say my wife and I will always have negative thing to say about brea towing. As a matter of fact brea towing caused us never to do business with aaa again. I'm sad to see that common decency and common sense and common respect are not so common anymore. read more

Ricardo from AAA Roadside Assistance came through when my car wouldn't start the other day! Given the COVID situation, he arrived early and was very safe and friendly throughout the process. Can you give 10 stars???? THESE GUYS ROCK!!! I was in Glamis yesterday afternoon, the transmission on my truck was smoked, I figured no problem, I can use my AAA premium towing, up to 200 miles no charge. I called AAA about 4 pm, they said ok we will work on getting you a tow......yeah let's just say they never got me a tow....by 9 pm I was still sitting in my broken truck 200 miles from home in Anaheim and no closer to being towed, AAA basically said we are working on it, we are doing all we can.....I was wondering if I was just going to have to bunk in the truck for the night and try again in the morning and hope AAA could find me a tow during the normal work week. I decided to try calling tow services that were AAA approved close to my house, The first couple were a bust, then I called BREA TOWING and Dannielle picked up and let me just say she took my situation personally, she totally got in my corner, she called AAA herself, got approval to send one of Brea Towing's trucks out to me, asked driver Blake to make the 3.5 hour drive out to me (it's 10 pm by now!) and the 3.5 hour drive back, he wanted to help and said sure let's do it! He showed up at 2 am, loaded my broken truck and me up, and got me and my rig home by 5:30 am. That is not a fun drive behind the wheel of a tow truck but Blake did it because he cares about people. This place is a joke, well maybe not them but their drivers do represent them so yes, JOKE! AAA who we have been with for over 40 years, sent this company out to tow our vehicle that was in need of repair. The driver got there, exclaimed to our son that was there to meet him (also a long time member of AAA) "this is just a transport" before he drove away not even being able to explain to this ass that it was in fact going for repairs. To say this was an inconvenience for several of us was an understatement. There were people at the receiving end, pick up location and us currently out of state along with AAA trying to coordinate something that should have been simple, instead we all had to wait another hour for another truck to be sent out. I would never recommend a place that arbitrarily allows their drivers to pick and choose. As I said...,,,JOKE! read more

After being called 5 times and waiting for 2 hours for a pretty straightforward location, you start to believe you're being pranked. I have met a lot of tow truck drivers but Leslie is the best by far. His attention to detail and his patience to get the job done right but urgently needs to be applauded. What they need to do is have Leslie train other drivers on how to conduct themselves as a professional. Every step of the way, Leslie handled my car to the highest level.
