My transmission went out in la Mirada last night and I needed to get my car to my shop in city of industry. Everybody I dealt with at brea towing (dispatcher Maria & driver ren) was extremely polite & professional, & the service was quick & easy. There was one minor complaint - apparently commercial vehicles are not allowed to drive over the hill on Fullerton road (what harbor blvd turns into once you leave oc), so my original 8 mile according to apple maps tow got a little longer and cost a little extra. But being already late at night & with the tow truck already at my location and it being an honest mistake, I went with them anyway. My friend & I went to get donuts at moodoo donuts while he was hooking my car up, & I offered to get ren one and he even gave me a discount since he felt bad for the unexpected price increase. If there is any critique I can give it's maybe give the driver the destination address & make sure how far it will be first & let the customer know if there is any discrepancy before dispatching the driver, but this is probably not a common occurrence, and I don't know what they deal with on the back end. Just to be clear, the original 8 mile estimate was from my own apple maps - they did not tell me it would be 8 miles then suddenly change on me, they just didn't tell me that it would be longer til the tow truck arrived - and offered to let me cancel for free and go with another cheaper company if I chose to. All in all I hope my car never needs to get towed again, but if it does and I am in north oc I will definitely call brea towing. The experience was about as pleasant as it could be! read more

My brothers jeep broke down on the 57 freeway and Brea's tow responded fairly quickly for being early morning traffic hour! Douglas showed up and was very courteous and very safety minded. Don't trust theese guys with any service or tow. I was involved in an accident with one of their tow truck and they did not want to give their insurance information and also denied any involvement. They towed my vehicle after accident and had my wife and I ride in the car as it was being towed. My car decided to stop working against my wishes in the middle of my college intersection. I called them up after getting it pushed to a nearby parking lot. The lady who answered, Maria I think, was super nice and she definitely helped put ease into my mind. They were backed up with calls at the time I called but she assured me, the multiple times I called, that she hadn't forgotten about me and that almost made me cry in relief. I had my car towed by Ron this morning from a tough spot on the street and he was just amazing. It was a really hard morning with the car and he towed it quickly and easily and was VERY kind and reassuring. I felt bad because I had been yelled at by some drivers passing by and he helped me to feel better. It's no surprise that this place got 5 stars. I was in need of a battery replacement this morning so I called Triple A and they arranged for Brea Towing to come out and install a new battery. They sent Drew, who arrived earlier than the window of time they gave me. He was awesome! Very friendly and efficient. Drew diagnosed my car battery, gave us a quote on the spot, and installed the new battery within 20 minutes. My husband and I were about to have lunch nearby so he even let us get started and said he'd call us out once he was done. My car's battery just died today and I was so not prepared for that. I asked my friend to help me jumpstart it but it wasn't working. Luckily a triple A truck was passing by and noticed my car trouble. He was really nice and helped diagnose my battery and recommended me to get a new one. I was so glad I ran into him and he knew exactly what to do and taught me and my friend how to jumpstart it for the future. Unbelievable experience. I left the house to get fuel and wash a vehicle my husband and I rarely drive. The battery died while fueling and I am stuck in my lounge clothes and nothing but my phone. I forgot to grab my purse on the way out. I call for assistance and the driver initially ends up at wrong address. My husband called in to AAA for me. Driver immediately begins to give me all the reasons why he can't help me (not realizing there are 2 accounts and we both have one) and then lectures me about not having my id. Brea, California 1:30pm I called for a tow for my son's vehicle and was told it would be about 50 minutes. I agreed and while we were talking, I was told that a driver had just clocked in so I would get help much faster than the initial estimate. After an hour and a half I called because I had received no further communication - but the phone was never picked up. I called again 25 minutes later and again there was no answer - I left a message to please call and let me know when they'd arrive. Called again 10 minutes later - no answer again but I left a message to cancel the tow. Graham's Tow was here within 15 minutes and I was able to get the van to the shop at last. And Brea Towing is still not answering their phone an hour after my last call and have never called or messaged... 4:40 pm. read more

Exceptional, Wonderful experience with two guys from this company. EDDIE first arrived to scope out our blown tire issue. First thing he said was if we needed water--Very Thoughtful & provided outstanding service and support. Upon inspection, we actually needed a flat bed; He told us to get in his tow truck where he had the A/C blasting while we waited for his colleague to arrive with one. We had him check the old used spare we kept in the back to see if it was okay so in case, we could cancel the flat and just replace tire. Eddie was very quick made calls and even mentioned that we've been waiting awhile (we never complained, it didn't even feel like 15min), and got another tow guy to come shortly. David arrived and was equally a pleasure to be with. Both provided quick, proper service & conversation. At that time I was told by at least two other people that only one person could ride in the truck with the driver. Never once did anyone told me that the driver could refuse to take me with my car. It took them well over an hour to come. When Nicolas finally came, he was polite and willing to help. He said that my problem was my alternator. He told me that he couldn't take me in his truck because he, "didn't feel safe" because of Covid and I would have to find my own ride. I told him that I had a mask and he said that it was his decision and I would have to find my way. I told him that if I knew this from the time that I called I could have set it up. This is the worst place ever, lacks customer service skills. Please make sure that if you are getting towed not to use this towing company. Make sure you ask all questions that you can think off, if you are getting towed by them and your car will be at their tow yard. They will conveniently forget or assume everyone runs like them to leave out details that are of importance to have your car released. They will stand around and make fun of the other tow companies that come and pick up your vehicle, when them themselves are worst. And if you try to talk to their management, they will hide behind the door of the rude lady that is the first face you see when you walk in. My son's BMW Z3's suspension finally gave up the ghost at around 100,000 miles and it became unsafe to drive. We called AAA and Miguel Lopez from Brea Towing Company showed up with a nice flatbed. Miguel was very friendly and professional. He carefully hooked the car up and brought it up onto the bed. We appreciated the fact that he took his time to make sure everything was perfect. He drove the car to our local BMW mechanic, and was as careful taking the car off as he was putting it on. Do not use their services. My dad called them for a tow to the buena park Toyota dealership because his car's battery died. He wanted a tow to the dealership since he had a service appointment anyway. But the person insistent on jump starting the car. However when it did not work he said he would try to double jump it. My dad raised concerns but he did not listen. They double jumped my dad's hybrid sienna and fried the ecu. When my dad requested for them to pay for the damages, they denied it. *BE AWARE OF HEAT STAMP DATES (look this up online) ON THE BATTERY YOU GET FROM BREA TOWING* Purchased a battery from Brea Towing through Triple A in March. Month later my car died after sitting for just two days, after having driven the car for about an hour two days prior. Figured battery is bad so I called Brea Towing to speak to a manager. He was in but did not take my call, so I left a message. He never called. So instead I called AAA for a replacement. Apparently the battery is "good", but the battery had a heat stamp from August '19, with a sticker that says March '20. So I put it through claims department for a replacement and got the battery replacement approved. However Brea Towing was a no show. So I called Triple AAA again, explain the whole situation and they sent out someone from Brea Towing. A guy name John comes out visibly upset, and told me that the replacement of my battery "is not happening". So I proceed to call Triple A again and John got angry and drove away. I did end up getting my battery replaced but yeah, if you do end up getting these guys to replace your battery I'd make sure you're getting a new battery, not an old battery from year prior. read more

Brea Towing was dispatched via Triple A to tow my vehicle from a home to a dealership for service. (The battery was dead amongst other issues). The first tow truck was on scene within 30 minutes. Because of another issue, no fault of Brea Tow, a flatbed had to be dispatched. The second tow arrived just as quickly. The service provided by the driver, Edgar, was professional and quick. I had to call the tow office for a third issue that arose, (again no fault of Brea Tow but rather of Triple A), and Karam at the office went above and beyond with his customer service.
