After we talked they were at my house within 30 minutes. Problem was fixed in about an hour. Very nice guys. They gave me tips on how to prevent the problem in the future. There was an additional fix they could have done and charged me for, but he said it was so simple he told us exactly how we could do it ourselves and save money. The rates are super reasonable, they will not take advantage you, prompt and respectful. I would recommend them and they will most definitely be my "go to" guys if we have other issues

They kept trying to sell us a new waterless water heater and said the price was over $5000.00. Also said we needed a whole new vent and drain. We called another plumber and he came out and said the valve was all it needed. These guys are real shysters. Do Not use Them. They are horrible!

We immediately received an appointment reminder via text and received an email confirmation so everything was off to a great start. A few days later a tech arrived (out of respect for him will not share his name) and he looked at the job. He wasn't sure if a 1/2" gas supply line was big enough to feed our gas cooktop so he had to make a few calls until he reached another tech who could answer his question. (The previous plumber said it would be no problem). The fact that he was not knowledgeable was a red flag. His bid came in $400 higher than a previous plumber's bid (another red flag) so we asked if he could get closer to the price. He said it would take about 2 - 3 hours of work which seemed pricey at approximately $500/hour but we agreed to move forward because the other plumber was backed up for 3 weeks.Before he left our home he had me sign his ipad and our appointment was in the books. We received several text and email confirmations and all was good. A week later we received our appointment reminder and it confirmed we had an 8am installation appointment and we were all ready to go. No Phone Call, no email and no text until 3pm. I saw the van pull into our driveway and then it left. I called the scheduling number saved in my text history and they said he was running late and would be back shortly. After 10-15 minutes he arrived and said he had many jobs going on and had another customer who was upset. He looked at the gas line location and then we went into the attic. I had to show him where the hood vent was in the attic so he could have a reference of where the gas line drop would be. We went back into the attic and he walked the wrong direction so I had to show him where the entry point would be. He said "this is more work than I bid" and he said it would cost more. At this point I had seen enough red flags and let him know that I would not be needing his services. I have never experienced such bad service from a tradesman. This company does an excellent job scheduling and uses state of the art software but it comes at an extremely high price tag. Additionally, the plumber was incompetent, didn't arrive on time, didn't properly bid the job and tried to raise the price after a week of waiting. If you are looking for a qualified plumber use good ol fashion word of mouth, Big State should be investing more in the quality of their plumbers & basic customer service then their scheduling system.

Our home is slightly different than many homes as it's a mobile home with PEX water lines. We…read morewanted a bit of an upgrade from the original builder quality that came with the home. They replaced the plastic piece that had broken with metal (copper, I believe). And brought out the better fixture that we requested. Unfortunately, what we wanted doesn't work in mobile homes. They have replaced the fixture with one that is acceptable for a very reasonable price especially considering the amount of time they put into the project. Thank EW Plumbing for helping us out. Horrible Horrible Horrible!! This company came to fix a garden tub faucet and did not know the name…read moreof the part I needed to order, so he could fix. I asked him to take a picture of the part, as it was under my bathroom cabinet and I could not see or access it. Man kept looking at his phone to check the time and complained about the time he had already spent assessing my tub and made angry gestures about helping get me a picture. I called his the owner, Jason, while Keith was still here and he siad he would try to figure out what the part was. I decided to order a whole new deck to cover any and all pieces. Jason said for me to get the piece and that he would have someone come back and fix it for no charge, as I had already paid one warranty fee. Said he would call me back the next morning to get me scheduled. Never heard fom him. Called him a couple days later and said he was on a demo job but may come by that afternoon but if not, then definitely on Monday (3 days later). Keith came back and said he could't repair because it was too much work and warranty denied my initial claim. Now all of a sudden there is a leak under my tub.. While he was here, his boss was on line. I asked him why in the world he can't fix and he told me he "I thought you needed a sink faucet repaired!!! WTH!!! I told them both they were not on my level and kicked Keith out the house!! Do not call these people. They do not carefully asess the issue. Instead, they want you to diagnose the problem and know your plumbing parts.

We have used this excellent company several times since we have moved to Brazoria from Pasadena…read more The first time was a broken outside faucet, but since then they have replumbed the entire house ridding us of old, nearly blocked galvanized piping, installed a water softener and an under the sink water filter, put in plumbing for the washer to be moved upstairs and installed two toilets and a bathtub. They are dependable and do rock solid work at extremely reasonable prices. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. We were so pleased that we asked them to do some work on the house in Pasadena that we are selling. They came through again and much more reasonably than our Pasadena plumber. Give them a call!

Got my deposit back quickly but it's not right to deposit a check before a job is actually started…read more I got an initial bad impression on the phone because I could hardly understand the person I was talking to and I could hear his kids screaming in the background. Yet, the guy who was sent to give us an estimate gave us the best impression, the total opposite of the impression on the phone, so we went along and provided the deposit. There was no agreement for them to buy parts nor do anything in particular, other than hold our spot for them to come back and start the job. At the end , we decided against the company and were very surprised to find out our check had already been cashed, when the repair had not even started. All they did was shut the water on that particular faucet to stop the leak until they could come back (and I would have been ok with paying for that, but my deposit was more than that was worth!). Nothing was said about a minimum for the visit. Yes, I did get my deposit back quickly, but the point is that I got a general bad impression from the get-go : One of lack of professionalism and clarity, on the phone. But the actual plumber who came, was great. Very knowledgeable, knew his craft.

Also make sure to help me with removing a pipe that was really rusted and was able to turn off the gas and get it checked out test it, so everything was good Although I would've liked more detail about how it was good outside just telling me that we got the greenlight that it's safe would've also been nice if I got a slight discount for assisting half the time ha ha but it's OK! overall his prices were good and he's honestly reliable and picks up the phone when he's not working or when his hands are messy definite going to be recommending and referring him out to all of my other places that may need it!! Hopefully he calls in to check on it or if it's OK I called him and check on it within a month or so just to make sure everything is working accordingly !
