They replaced the plastic piece that had broken with metal (copper, I believe). And brought out the better fixture that we requested. Unfortunately, what we wanted doesn't work in mobile homes. I asked him to take a picture of the part, as it was under my bathroom cabinet and I could not see or access it. Man kept looking at his phone to check the time and complained about the time he had already spent assessing my tub and made angry gestures about helping get me a picture. I called his the owner, Jason, while Keith was still here and he siad he would try to figure out what the part was. I decided to order a whole new deck to cover any and all pieces. Jason said for me to get the piece and that he would have someone come back and fix it for no charge, as I had already paid one warranty fee. Said he would call me back the next morning to get me scheduled. Never heard fom him. Called him a couple days later and said he was on a demo job but may come by that afternoon but if not, then definitely on Monday (3 days later). Keith came back and said he could't repair because it was too much work and warranty denied my initial claim. Now all of a sudden there is a leak under my tub.. While he was here, his boss was on line. I asked him why in the world he can't fix and he told me he "I thought you needed a sink faucet repaired!!! WTH!!! I told them both they were not on my level and kicked Keith out the house!! Do not call these people. They do not carefully asess the issue. Instead, they want you to diagnose the problem and know your plumbing parts.

Highly recommend Julio at Apex Plumbing…read more Our water heater failed unexpectedly and Julio was able to replace it in less than 24 hours. From the first call to completion, he was responsive, professional, and straightforward--no pressure, no upselling, just honest work. What really stood out was when he drained the old unit. I was shocked by the amount of rust and sediment that came out (and this was a commercial-grade unit). Julio took the time to explain everything and strongly recommended regular flushing every 6-12 months to avoid major issues and extend the life of the heater. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable plumber who actually cares about doing the job right, Julio is your guy. We're extremely grateful and will absolutely be using him again.

But what really stood out was the level of service. He didn't just do the job -- he went above and beyond. You can tell he actually cares about doing honest, quality work instead of just rushing through it. It's rare to find someone who is both affordable and genuinely takes pride in what they do, but this company delivered on both. If you need plumbing work done, especially anything with wells, I highly recommend Sinks and Things Plumbing.

While they were prompt in their service of my hot water heater, the price they charge is…read moreunreasonably excessive. I was charged $135 to have them come out for 10 minutes to tell me what I already knew (it will need to be replaced). Then it's a "flat rate" of $950 on top of that for 1 hour's worth of work to replace the heater. They were unable to tell me the model of the heater before it was installed so I could compare prices. And forget about tankless installs. No one there knows how to do that (a direct quote from the plumbers who came out). For anyone who needs to replace a hot water heater ASAP, go to Home Depot or Lowe's first and buy it yourself. They go for $400-$500 and take about an hour to swap, probably less. So let's see...$500 for a heater plus 1 hour worth of labor at their price ($135 per hour) adds up to around $635. I would have been very happy to pay this amount as it is reasonable. Paying almost $1100 to have it swapped is totally absurd. Voicing my concern with several employees there was met with the typical apathetic response "well, that's just what it is". The owner claimed this charge was reasonable. Sure it's easy to gouge customers all day & claim it's reasonable when you're the one raking it in. Finally after the heater was installed, I had asked what happens to the old heater. I was told I could just leave it at the curb and it'll get picked up. So after the plumber packed up & left, I was stuck with my old heater sitting in my driveway. There was no offer to even help me get it to my curb. He was very busy that day and apparently couldn't be bothered to assist. Talk about kicking someone while they're down...thanks guys! Real professional and courteous! I learned a very valuable lesson from this experience, and I'll make sure my friends and neighbors know who not to call moving forward.

While YouTube can be a great resource, there are definitely some things that only come with experience and knowing the tricks of the trade. Christian (Epic Plumber) quickly identified what needed to be done, installed the new faucet correctly, and even verified the repair by using the access panel behind the tub to ensure there were absolutely no leaks inside the wall. That extra step gave me real peace of mind that the job was done right the first time. He was professional, courteous, and respectful of my home. One thing I especially appreciated was that he put on boot covers before coming inside. I don't allow outside shoes on the upstairs carpet, and without me even having to ask, he took the initiative to protect my home. It's becoming harder to find contractors who genuinely care about doing quality work and treating a customer's home with respect. Epic exceeded my expectations, and I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to anyone needing plumbing repairs.

As a repeat customer, I wouldn't recommend Damon Hinson to anyone! I should have run like Forrest…read moreGump if I knew that he is a scam artist to begin with. I was too trusting and loyal to Damon which was a mistake! Damon accepted the job to unclog my atrium drain but was unable to finish it after 3 days (around 8 hours) being at my home. The worst news is that he took my $780. He ignored my demand letter that I sent on 7/23/25. His deadline to pay me back was 7/25/25 before midnight. Complaints against Damon had been filed with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners and Houston BBB since he refused to refund my $780. Damon had been lying to me since 7/16/25. Red flags were all over the place. He came over to my home in the late afternoon around 6pm without investigating the issue with me before giving me the estimate. When I tried to pay him using my credit card, he said no! I wasn't protected when paying him by cheque. He knew how to screw me up pretty well. Damon was attempting to make me pay him another $780 on 7/17/25. He told me to cancel my cheque payment and wanted me to Zelle him the $780. Chase Bank told me that he cashed the cheque already. He said he had no idea that he had cashed it. That was a crime! Damon was very incompetent because he kept telling me that my atrium drain is tied to the sewage line which is untrue! On 7/18/25, the other plumber (who was my 2nd opinion to bust Damon's lies) had confirmed that the drain outlet is in the community shrubs in front of my home. I have proof in writing by this plumber. My HOA had acknowledged the issue. On 7/21/25, it was Damon's last chance to unclog the atrium drain, he told me that he had to look into my sewage system. He kept saying that in order to unclog the drain, I had to pay him another $500 something in order for him to keep going with this job. At this point, he only cared about providing more services for more money! He truly was clueless. He kept bringing up that he smelled poop at the atrium. What an idiot! If I let him run the sewage clean out, he will damage my home! At this point, I immediately declined service for the 2nd estimate and told him to leave. I caught Damon in the lies over and over! He had been telling me, my family and the rest of his customers that he is a master plumber! Per the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, Damon has a journeyman license. I couldn't trust Damon anymore after all. I am very pissed off and stressed out because it is surely very dang hard to trust any contractors these days! I no longer want Damon as my go-to plumber for life. Whoever is trying to consider Damon Hinson for any plumbing work, forget "the benefit of the doubt"! Stay the heck away from DH Services!

It didn't take long for him to tell me I had a major water leak at my meter. I immediately called my community's Water Dept. and was told that they were estimating a 400 gallon per hour leak and they sent a service technician to shut my water off at the meter. I promptly called Mr. Plumber (owned by Mr. Rick Strickland) and spoke with Miss Lori, whom I have had the distinct pleasure of dealing with in the past, and she informed me that she wouldn't be able to get a crew out to me until the next day. I pleaded with her to ask her boss, Rick Strickland, if there was any possible way for them to get someone out to me today, and after placing me on a brief hold, came back on the phone with the good news that they would be able to get a crew out to me today! I soon received a call back from Lori advising me that a crew was on their way and would be here in approximately 20 minutes, which they were! They began digging up around the meter and found a cracked 90° PVC fitting and soon had it repaired and while waiting for the PVC glue to dry/set up, they began to address another issue in my back yard and soon had that issue identified and repaired, as well. I couldn't have asked for a better rapid response and repair than what I received from these professional young men! Kudos to you, Mr. Rick Strickland and your crackerjack team of consummate professionals! I felt that the price for all repairs was very fair and they gave me a "Senior's Discount", as well, which I greatly appreciated! Miss Cynthia was very kind and courteous whenever I called back in to pay my bill for their services. I highly recommend this plumbing service as they put their customers "first"!!!
