Their main web site is: https://www.facebook.com/ClemsPub/…read more Clem has been around, and even spawned other BBQ places. Happy Valley BBQ used to work with Clem and is cordial with him (I think). If you like midwest/kansas city BBQ, it is a thick sauced bbq. it is very good. the ribs are great, the country ribs are great (but slightly less great), the pulled pork is pretty good, the chicken is pretty good (but less great), the sides are all good to great (but the macroni salad used to be crazy good, now it's just good). they move around. check the facebook site for hours. they cater, a lot and well. They sometime appear at Meyer's Dairy in state college, and currently are by the Bellefonte highschool. I hope to be back again and again. This is a gem and deserves to be found. He also needs to settle down and have a restaurant, but he seems better at BBQ than at management (somehow, he seems like he would be great as a manager too). Perhaps he prefers front of house. WooHooo! as good as it gets! He can't hit the consistency to be in the le Guide Michelin, but the food quality for what it proposes to be, is that good. Service is Clem, what could be better? ps Clem, remember that poor, late, lost guy who showed up after you were closed but before I99 went in, and you gave a huge sample to because you were too lazy to charge him (or kind)? And you thought he would clean the pan instead of you having to clean the pan? Well I ate that for two meals and this is just payback baby.

In the planning stages, Alyssa was very helpful with suggestions about items for our menu and for amounts we might need for our gathering. We really didn't know how many people would come. Her estimates were perfect! I appreciated her enthusiastic cheerful manner and her always prompt returns of phone calls. She delivered the food exactly at the time requested. Set-up was quick and, as I expected, cheerful. We appreciated her providing table tents (cards) to identify the ingredients in the dishes. All the food items were awesome! Thank you, Alyssa and Mickala! We received many compliments from our guests about the delicious food, especially the fresh fruit platter and the desserts. The grilled beef sliders were very popular. The dressings and dips were excellent, too. Twisted Whisk - outstanding in every respect!

From the owner: ABOUT US Pappas…read morePies was established in 2021 and is owned by Zoe and Chris Meyer from Spring Mills, PA. The idea of crafting wood fired pizzas really started with Zoe's dad, John Pappas who was an amazing cook/entertainer and had a wood fired pizza oven of his own. Sadly, John passed away in 2016 and ever since then, Zoe has had a vision to keep the wood fired pizza idea moving forward and recently decided to take the show on the road. Introducing Pappas Pies- mobile wood fired pizza. The experience of having a wood fired pizza oven at your event provides a fun casual atmosphere that everyone will truly enjoy and really is not like any other catered experience. Guests enjoy watching the Neapolitan pizza being crafted right in front of them and tossed into a 900 degree oven. We specialize in wood fired pizza and we pride ourselves on doing it well. Our dough is handmade, and our ingredients are always fresh.
