My wife and I decided to go to Brazen Fox today (Sunday, 3/1/20) for Brunch. The hostess was welcoming at the door and sat us at our reserved table right away. Water was poured, bread arrived in a timely fashion and the server Harry introduced himself all within 7-8 minutes of being sat at the table. SOP's, so far so good. Wife had a passion fruit mojito and yours truly had a Titos Bloody Mary, both delish. Mozzarella Sticks for an app were on point. Wifey enjoyed her Buffalo Chicken Wrap and I thoroughly enjoyed the Lobster Benedict. Through the course of our dining experience, it would have been nice to have been checked on to see if we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything. Our waiter was responsible for 4 large booths and 5 additional tables. He was getting bogged down by the amount of patrons/tables he was responsible for and was not able to keep up with running all the drinks for everyone he was taking care of. Just on optics alone, I could see the waiter was responsible for running all the drinks to the tables, taking the orders, putting the orders into the POS, bussing/cleaning the tables and to make sure the food was going to the correct table and positions once the food runner came out. I could see the floor staff was stretched thin. This is not fault of the waiter, but this is a scheduling/management issue. We were at Brazen for nearly two hours and not once did I see a manager step in to assist staff or walk around the dining space to touch tables and see how people were doing. The service staff DEFINITELY could have used some assistance during the busy Brunch. Me personally, I am typically good for 3-4 Bloody Mary's and my wife is usually good for 2-3 drinks. Instead, we only had one each because we were never checked on to see if we needed anything else. Over all the staff was polite and had great attitudes. When the waiter was at our table, he was knowledgable of the menu and assisted us with questions we had. The drinks were delicious with a nice balance and the food was VERY good. The staff could obviously have used some assistance from other co-workers OR, most importantly, a manager. It would have been nice to see. So, instead of 5 Stars, I am giving 4 because nobody ever came to our table to see if we needed more drinks or how our dining experience was going. Other than that, we had a nice time. I'll be back, Brazen! Maybe next Sunday as a matter of fact.... PS: I recommend a drink runner to bring drinks from the bar to the tables to free up your servers. This way the servers can touch their tables a little more, and continue to sell, sell, sell. Also, managers need to be seen, have a feel for the floor and evaluate when they need to jump in. Someone definitely should have been jumping in today or at least touching tables. read more

I highly recommend Brazen Fox if you're on a time crunch - as long as you can find the host. When we came in we waited about 5 minutes before we started to walk around looking for the host. We were committed at this point. We ended up asking a server if we could get a table. He got us a table and menus instantly. We let him know we're in a rush and he truly expedited everything, despite the restaurant being completely packed. We had the sautéed salmon and it came out in what felt like 2 minutes. Classic dish - served with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and lemon caper sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection! It took us 5 minutes to get the table and we were out of here within 15 minutes. This was my second time at Brazen's. My first experience was pleasant; however, this time was not. I walk in through the back and the bouncers, who were African American, told me that this entrance was "closed." As soon as I walked away, two Caucasian women step up, and the three African American bouncers let them in. I then walk back over to ask why they were allowed to go in and not myself. They then gave me the excuse that they were "open again." I proceeded to walk away after confronting them since I felt denied strictly because of my skin color, despite them being black themselves. If you want an absolute 0/10 night where the security guards exercise inappropriate and excessive force against their clients and are incredibly disrespectful, this is the place for you!! Nowhere should it be excusable or appropriate for someone to be dragged out of a bar when they were calm, compliant, and did nothing wrong (I.e., trying to move out of a crowded booth), but this kind of treatment and abuse of power is apparently tolerated here. Perfect example of people who take their job way too serious and can't handle an ounce of power. The security guards think it's okay to abuse their little power and be so aggressive and drag people out for absolutely no reason. Genuinely no reason. Bald headed security guard with glasses has no chill whatsoever and brutalized my friend for trying to get through the booth seating area. Unacceptable and disgusting reaction which was so unnecessary and uncalled for. My friend was respectful and compliant when honestly... he didn't have to be for the way he was being spoken to and treated and then he was DRAGGED out. This man was probably drugged out. I got the buffalo wrap, it was good, BUT not that good. Something wasn't hitting quite right. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Plus, they had the football game up so loud that I couldn't even hear myself talk to my coworkers. I was literally screaming. The quesadilla looked good. read more

If I could give less stars I would. I was an artist in the local tattoo convention, they told us our after party was here at the Brazen Fox, free drinks and food. We attended and felt very profiled. The men were told no hats allowed while other men(of no color) where not harassed. I wished I knew the "security" guy name he had such a power rush and felt like he had the right to tell the people I was with what to do. He spoke with such self appointed authority, it was redic. When asked to speak to the manager he brought over two buff security guys... I was very confused as to why, they were not who I asked to speak to. Well since they removed my review I guess I'll write it again, I got assaulted by 3 security guards on my birthday after having one drink here, the cause was a hat. I was asked to remove it and I did and a few minutes later I had put it on my head because I was putting my stuff back in my pockets ,a security guard came over and put his hands on me and told me to leave so I pushed his hand off of me and told him to calm down, he then tackled my legs and 2 other guys got on top and one of them punched me while I was being crushed. It was great to see they had an outdoor seating and indoor, very good option but had to wait for someone to seat my girlfriend and I, although it wasn't busy. We spent about 30 minutes waiting for the waiter to come and take our order so that was also another down sight but the food was great!! Lots of Football! This I like very much, now that playoff season is starting, I would come here often, If only I lived closer. Big screens, very open area to dine, large tables, good visibility of multiple screens. Ideal for a group of 4-6 for brunch and fun sports energy. But not a sports bar, feels more upscale, high ceilings and nice wood décor. Wasn't excited about the service, not our server but (I guess) the manager. He walked right up to our table while we were asking about food and drinks and trying order and just stood there impatiently trying to interrupt to speak with our server. But overall it was a good experience. We tried the margaritas - very large selection and creative choices. I would recommend trying one for sure. The burger was small but tasty. 3/22/24 We went out with my coworkers after a long ass week. Most of us lives 30-40 mins away from white plains. The waitress (white short hair blonde lady) took us to the table (suppose to be for the DJ) and we ordered food and drinks. She never even warned us that 30 mins before the DJ comes we have to leave the table. We continued ordering food and drinks then suddenly she told us that we have to leave the table and close the tab. So we ended up standing in the corner, not accomodated and carrying our plate with food. We asked the bouncers that can we take a chair so we could sit. So we got 2 chairs from other customers and we sat next to the bar. The manager named "MATT" (white angry face) took our chairs and told us we cant sit in there and argue with us and told us its a fire hazard. (In the first place we were not accomodated and not given ant place to finish our drinks and food). He told us that he could escort us out because of sitting there and asking were we could sit. He does not even want to give his name. (I got his name from one of his staff). So the bottom line of this review is that if you are not white, dont ever come to this place because they are DISCRIMINATING people of color. The place is not bad but the services are full of sh*t. They'll smile at you if you are white but if you are not white, they'll bitch at you. So im never ever coming back to this place. PERIOD!!!! From the outside Brazen Fox smells very good. Which was the reason why we tried to have dinner at Brazen Fox. However, the restaurant has a serious issue with its service, more precisely, its hostess. We arrived around dinner time and asked for a table. The hostess told us the wait time is around 10 minutes and asked us to leave our phone number and name in case a table is open. After 20 minutes of wait, we asked to see if the table is open. The hostess responded again with another 10 minutes wait. At this point, we were a little bit thirsty. Thus, we went to get a drink. We then called in to check if our table is available. The hostess picked our phone and told us the wait time is 30 minutes, shockingly! How rude! Lying to us and wasting our precious time is a no-no in the restaurant industry. Popular place in white plains. Located right on mamaroneck avenue. Popular day and night! Nightlife is great for white plains area. VERY spacious there is a front and back outside area to sit and eat. There is street parking and a parking lot in the back. This was my first time eating there after a few years and we sat in the front outside area. Loved sitting outside it was nice especially with the wine! One flaw is that the server took a long time to bring us our drinks and take our order. We ordered a bottle of wine which was terrific. I ordered the guacamole and salsa with chips. The guacamole was good. It wasn't spicy and it tasted fresh. I don't like it when guacamole texture is too smooth like you buy from the grocery store. The salsa was great! Very tasty not to spicy either. The French fries were nice and crispy. It came with a chipotle sauce that tasted great. The food was great, the service was ok. I would definitely come back because of the food. I would also recommend to come see the nightlife especially on a Friday or Saturday night if your in the local area. They play a variety of music. Went here for Happy Hour w the ladies one Friday night. Granted we were hella late bc of friends taking their time so we only had 20-30 mins to order as much as we could until 8pm. I stayed w my girl to park the car while two ladies went in to order. At the bar the bartender was a complete tard and told my friends some BS lies about the happy hour menu-- saying some items were only on Wed night and that we could only order one round of drinks bc the bar computer clock was fast.... Yeah.... basically the management puts the clocks ahead so the patrons get cut short of happy hour. AWESOME A-HOLES. We were able to get one martini each and then went to a table bc we were all starving. We ordered the app sampler which, oh looky here.. is for happy hour ALL WEEK!! It was plastered on every menu! Not just Wednesday you lying sack of crap! Way to put me in a pissy mood. The second drink I ordered was completely juice, no prosecco or vodka like it stated and if so, it was prob half a shot. This pub/restaurant is great! My extended family and I had lunch here and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food is delicious and plentiful. They have a nice selection of beers and other drinks. Our waitress, Lilly, was excellent and attentive. There was also support staff making sure we had refills of water, napkins, etc... I always love coming here, the bartenders remember you, the music is usually ok and the vibe in general is just cool. I use to come here after work for happy hour with my friends every other Friday. Now I come on the regular. When any of my friends or new coworkers decide they want to hang out after work, this is my go to spot. During the weekend, this spot is usually filled with college students but still you will have a great time when you come. Great Happy Hour with a wide range of $4 martinis. I started with the sangria which was fine but a little too sweet. I moved on to the Key Lime Martini which was very good! The bar menu was typical. We noshed on curly fries, steamed dumplings and the chicken cilantro egg rolls. The steamed dumplings were delicious and who can mess up curly fries? I thought the 'Mexican' egg rolls were okay (I'm not an egg roll person) but my friend loved them, especially dipped in the zesty sauce that came with the fries. The rolls came with both sour cream and salsa. My friend comes here on a semi regular basis and loves the place. I can see why. There's a huge metered parking lot that caters to all the pubs on this row. We parked right by the back door and walked in ... couldn't be easier. Great outside seating in both the front and the back. Would be a fun place to people watch as I hear that this White Plains strip gets pretty lively on Thursdays and weekends. Service was good. I am trying to figure out why this place has 3 stars... The waitress was attentive and prompt, as expected, the food was hot, absolutely delicious, and the prices were great! I had the Sautéed Salmon, with Mash Potatoes and Asparagus, which was crispy outside, soft, hot and well cooked inside, not too flaky, with Asparagus, and Mashed Potatoes. The mash was a good consistency with smooth texture with some chunks. And it's kinda hard to mess up asparagus. Washed down with a glass of the house Cabernet. I want to try the bar, but I have to drive home. Definitely will be back. This place is one of my favorite spots. A bouncer at Brazen Fox physically assaulted me and removed me from the establishment for wearing a backpack they let me in with. I was physically assaulted and removed 30 mins after I entered. I was approached by the man asking me to check my bag. When I refused he pinched me so hard on my right arm I screamed at the top of my lungs in pain. He repeatedly pinched me over and over again. Physically in pain and shaken by the ordeal. I was doing absolutely nothing except minding my own business. In addition the other bouncers thought it was funny. The bouncer whom assaulted me then took his wallet out and shook it in front of my face to torment me. There's a lot of different type bars in White Plains, and for a Saturday night looking for a good time, this is probably one of the better bars on the whole 'strip'. I've only been here on Saturday nights (the best night in White Plains), but for the times I've been here, always a nice experience inside. The music, depending on the time you get there, blends and gets clubbier by the end of the night. The place also gets crowded, but it's expected. The bartenders are always nice and attentive. The drinks are always well made, decently priced, and do the trick. I can't comment about the food, since I've never had anything off the menu. (If I do, I'll edit this of course) When I go to White Plains for a Saturday night, this is one of two locations I always try to make sure I get a drink in. I've been going to Brazen Fox to eat and drink for 10 years. Tonight I walked in and forgot my mask. I told the hostess I do not have a mask and that I am sorry and asked if they could provide me with a mask. With out any effort, she told us that they don't serve anyone with a mask. I once again asked if they can give me a mask because I accidentally forgot mine in the car. Once again she said they can not serve us and told me no. So she turned down an easy $200 table tonight, and many nights to come! Never going back. I recommend no one else go there either unless they want to be treated rudely at the door. read more
