I've been here plenty of times and the waiters are normally very friendly and professional but last time he service was beyond terrible. Our waiter took our order; an hour later he asked for our order again because he lost it; an hour later we called him over to check on our reorder and he greeted us with a "now what?" at which point we asked him to cancel our order entirely and left... 2 hours later. Great touch (one that always wins me over) Water bottle (with fresh mint) on the table. Ordered Cherry Pepper Calamari and Asian Dumplings as appetizers. Then moved on to the Chilean Sea Bass with white rice and Bok Choy with shiitake mushrooms sautéed in an orange Demi glaze sauce AND a medium rare skirt steak sandwich with roasted peppers, sautéed onions, avocado with a sriracha sauce. Came in with my wife last night, what a shit show two guido's got into a verbal dispute in each others faces yelling at each like girls, security comes and just don't do anything until it got physical than they removed the perps. Having been to brazen many times in the past I have to say tonight was one of the better meals. Paco our waiter was exceptional. Constantly coming by to see if everything was ok. The blackened salmon salad was top notch. As was the tuna tartar appetizer. Don't let this restraunt pass you by. read more

While we normally have a nice time here the experience today was subpar. I was surprised by my family with a birthday brunch this Sunday morning. The server was nice enough and apologized for getting one of our orders wrong (which was totally fine and not a big deal at all) but the restaurant charged us $7 each for orange juices for the 2 kids- whereas the manager was cold and dismissive (this is more than the cost of a beer). Additionally, the server continuously kept saying the mistakes were the kitchen's fault and not his. I told him I worked as a server and you never blame the kitchen or the restaurant. Also, the prices on the menu are NOT the same as what it is when you are there- so beware of costs that are at least 30% more. read more

Brazen Fox is a great bar for Friday and Saturday nights. They always have a good crowd, good music, and the bartenders are friendly and quick with drinks. In terms of actually sitting down and eating a meal, there is something left to be desired. As Jerry mentioned with regard to the pickles, their portions are slim. Delicious - but slim. Graet food; standard pub-grub with an expectedly Irish tilt. I'm in White Plains a couple times a year for work and have been in for lunch or a happy hour; I've certainly been pleased with my food each time. Atmosphere is good; not sure I'm too bothered by the number of TVs - with good company, good conversation and a good beer, they're easy to ignore. Speaking of good beer, I thought the selection at Brazen Fox was more than sufficient; I've done the bars with insanely large menus and micro-brews you couldn't find if they were made in your backyard - in college, the Brickskeller in DC (since closed, but the equally good Bier Baron is in its place) was a staple of ours; they literally had 500+ beers on their menu at any given time. In the end, give me a couple dozen options, some staples for the timid beer drinkers and that's enough. All told, I like the place and will surely return next time I'm in town. read more

Every experience I've had at Brazen Fox has been amazing. I've had brunch (HIGHLY recommend - food is fabulous), Ordered food out to go ( best buffalo chicken wrap I've had), and spent many nights at the bar. Nice bar. Food is sub par. Paninis are nothing more than small sandwiches with an emphasis on small. Fries have virtually no taste which I didn't think was possible for fries. No seasoning. No salt. Brazen Fox is very much different from the rest of the bars on mammaroneck ave b/c you really have to be 21 to drink! lol There food is delicious(chipotle wrap/sweet potatoe fries all the way) and the bathrooms are awesome! I had heard so many good things about Brazen Fox, so we finally tried it tonight. Just went for a glass of wine and apps and sat outside. The wine was fine, but the chips and guacamole were horrendous and the service was even worse. We had asked multiple times for water glasses after our server brought out just 1 with the bottle of water, and never ended up getting the other 2 glasses. We hosted our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party for our wedding at The Brazen Fox in White Plains, in their Parlour Room. Everything about the night exceeded our expectations! Brazen Fox was able to accommodate 58 of us for a seated buffet-style dinner with open bar. We had our own dedicated bartenders who were attentive and generous. The food was put out right on time and was DELICIOUS. We were honestly very surprised by how good the food was, as buffet food is usually pretty "eh." Everyone was talking about how great the food was and several guests (including myself!) went up for seconds and thirds. The A/V for the night ran very smoothly; we were able to use a microphone and TV screen with the room's sound system to show videos and make speeches. The best man brought in his keyboard and sound equipment for his presentation and the venue was great at making sure it was safe and that he was able to set it up properly. The room was outfitted with beautiful winter ambiance and mood lighting and the whole night ran so smoothly. After the rehearsal dinner, the bartenders seamlessly transitioned from full open bar to beer and wine on a tab and the room transitioned from sit-down meal to cocktail party instantly, without any interruption or hiccups. I worked with the Manager, Sharon Mullins, who unfortunately was not around the night of the event but we were in wonderful hands with the staff who were there. I would recommend Brazen Fox wholeheartedly to anyone wanting to have a private event in White Plains and would repeat our event 1000 times over and wouldn't change a thing. I went to the Brazen Fox for dinner with a group, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I was a big fan of the trendy pub atmosphere, and we received great service. I ordered a California turkey burger with the Caesar salad, and have to say it was the best turkey burger I've ever been served in a restaurant. Perfectly cooked and the pretzel bun was a great addition. I also appreciate the fact that this place gives you the traditional toppings and also lets you swap out the burger type (turkey, mushroom, etc.) for any of its selections. I'm fully aware of the "dress code", how ever we are mid summer w/ an emphasis on 4th of July & the bars are in a full disapproval of tank tops. It's a bit ridiculous considering we're mid July & they'll let girls in wearing crop tops &/ or no shirts. It's a bit sexist & disgusting. I believe if we're gonna attempt to be in a society that's equal we need to begin treating men & woman equal regardless of surroundings. I just let my friend walk in before me & my girl (friend) was wearing spaghetti straps, they let her in & did not let me in because I was wearing a patriotic tank (not a wife beater) but a printed shirt w/ no sleeves. It's honestly disgusting & how sexist this world has become. It's actually quite sad to think that the world still views gender inequality even after this new founded equality for all mankind. This generation is moving towards a deeper understanding for human equality worldwide & it's sad to think White Plains wouldn't acknowledge the same understandings as other cities nationwide. read more

Had dinner there yesterday. The beer selection was decent. The food was pretty awful, and the service was weak. The scene: we are promptly seated outside, then no one comes over to take a drink or food order for 15+mins. I finally have to get up and go tell them that i'd like to order. The waitress seemed uninterested and unconcerned. Once she took our order, we never saw her again. The food comes, and it is not good. Salads (Thai and some apple thing) are tasteless and poorly constructed. No flavor, and the ingredients do not look especially fresh (except for the grilled chicken, thank goodness). Sweet potato french fries were good (hard to mess those up). Fried calamari was awful. Tasted like fried rubber bands. Exremely chewy and tough. Essentially inedible. The bill came to $100. It wasn't worth more than the $7 pints of Blue Moon that I bought. Will never eat there again, unless I just want a beer and some fries. read more

Went in the middle of the afternoon and tables were not cleaned off so had to wait about 5 Minutes. The drinks took a while to come out and I had to ask for them. We had the wings and nachos for appetizers and were very good but the salsa was dry. We ordered burgers and chicken sandwiches in which were all very tasty; we just wish the service was a bit better. read more
