Always a pleasure to deal with. When things were tough with COVID the owner went out of his way to help with the essentials

I am so mad because it's the one that's closest to me and I forget to tell the hospital to change it. 1st of all, the woman eating at the register while helping you is distracting. So they rejected my prescription cause "I didn't have insurance," which I do, and they would have known if they called me. So then I get there and she has attitude about it while chewing food talking to me. Then I leave and come back for the meds. They are missing one, I called, she told me I have to buy it over the counter. Im wondering why they didn't tell me that while I was there. First she was trying to convince me that the doctor told me to buy it over the counter, until I told her that it was prescribed and she said she just now seen it after going to check again. How did you miss the prescription in the first place? The line to get your meds is always so long. They always have a broken register, or not enough ppl or don't have the meds you want.

In my experience, it's impossible from the big chains. Skendarian is one of the rare places that can not only create custom topical/transdermal medications, but do it exceptionally well. My Boston vet had directed me to an out-of-state pharmacy to make a topical version of the steroid my cat could not tolerate in liquid form. It would have taken at least five business days for me to get the meds, even paying for express shipping. I remembered that Skendarian can compound medications on site. I called them. They had the prescription cream it ready the same day they received the prescription! I'm embarrassed to write that this is not the first time Skendarian came through for our household when no other pharmacy could. The experience reminded me how critical it is to patronize local pharmacies for every day needs. CVS or Walgreens would not have done for me at all what Skendarian was able to do in ONE DAY. I wish I lived in Cambridge rather than Boston so I could do all my drugstore shopping there. They are the best. Seriously.

Pharmacist called walmart for me got my prescription transferred in a matter of minutes! Also pretty cool to see a locally owned pharmacy in a very competitive corporate environment. I've honestly never been to one. It's that good old fashioned America you read about in fiction novels or see on the silver screen. Dude was mad cool. Came through with the quickness when nobody else could.

The best stop on your shopping tour! I had the pleasure of stopping by this unique store and…read morepurchased a wonderful men's cologne for myself. This place has hundreds of fragrances and hard to find men's and women's sundries. The proprietor is a quiet and nice man who was able to pinpoint the right product for me based on my request for something subtle. There have been a few unjustified bad reviews that I've read, and I have to blame the reviewers who are more likely the problem. Simply put, if you're going to shop retail, then purchase from retail. Don't walk in and try a bunch of fragrances then buy online to save a few bucks. Do the right thing by merchants that have rent to pay and operational expenses. Supporting local May cost a bit more but it worth it. Thank you sir for a great experience, I'll be back.

I had a bad experience here. I came looking for a particular perfume (Jicky by Guerlain), asked the…read moregentleman there and he showed me a bottle. I asked whether I could test it and was told no. I have only smelled old bottles of Jicky -- I don't know what the current version smells like. Without trying, I couldn't decide whether to buy it, so I gave the perfume back and told him I'd think about it. They were selling it for $145, same as retail. I then had a walk around browsing the store. Once or twice I saw something I hadn't heard of and I took out my phone to Google it. I'm a bit socially awkward and I sometimes prefer to read about things online instead of bothering someone with questions. I went to the door and told the gentleman at the counter thanks and good bye. He said to me, "so I'm curious, were you just shop malling me or what?" I'd never heard that term and asked what he meant. He said, "You look at our boxes and then you look the prices up on your phone -- that's shop malling." I said that I was really mostly interested in the Guerlain perfume, and if they'd had a deal on it I would have taken it. But they didn't and plus, I'm not going to shell out $145 for a perfume if I can't try it. He said to me sarcastically, "Support local businesses, huh." I replied, "Well, I still might be back, you have some good stuff." And he said, "I won't hold my breath." It's not nice to be snippy with a customer who's just coming in to have a browse. And the "shop malling" accusation came out of nowhere too (just because I was walking around and looking at my phone?). The funny thing is, I would gladly pay retail price for something or even a bit more to support a local business run by nice folks -- keyword here is nice.
