I'm pretty pleased with the addition of this place to the shopping center. It's a side project for a popular Italian restaurant in Orange. At this location, they do more of the lunch and takeout stuff, where the other place is the dinner/sit down establishment. The owner/manager guy said all the recipes were from the main dinner place. Storefront: It's really just kind of a takeout counter. There are a few tables and chairs outside the door. Staff: I'm very happy with the service and staff here. The two people with which I interacted were very friendly and attentive. Food/Drink: I got a slice of pepperoni pizza and a drink, and it came out to around $5. The slice was huge. The sauce was very flavorful and the crust was a good consistency. Crispy on the outside and slightly charred in areas, but chewy on the inside. Good stuff. Personally, I don't much like a saucy pizza, so this pizza was a little saucy for my taste. I recognize that my taste is probably not typical, so I'm not going to fault the restaurant. I just prefer a higher ratio of cheese to sauce. Maybe I'll get a cheese slice next time. Regardless of my preferences, this seemed like a high quality "restaurant grade" pizza. Everything was solid. They freshly grate their parmesan every day, and it's delicious. Seems so insignificant, but it makes a noticeable difference. The craft sodas are fantastic. I really like the Stubborn cola compared to a Pepsi/Coke. Maybe it has more of the cola flavor without being too sweet? I dunno. The black cherry is ridiculous. SUMMARY: Small place, nice people, good pizza, great sodas, very reasonable prices. They apparently make a whole bunch of stuff besides pizza, so there's also that. If they were priced a little higher (where I think the quality dictates they could be), I'd have given them 4 stars. But the prices are pretty low and the value is solid for the amount of food you get. 4.5/5 read more

Pizza sauce wasn't a nice home made from scratch sauce. Pizza crust was way too wide on top not enough actual cheese and sauce. Pasta wasn't that good. Felt like a very low end take out place. Unexpected from such a highly rated place. read more

One of the best Italian foods I've ever had. I don't normally write reviews, but I must say, this place was worth every penny. Me and bf came across this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. We ordered the calamari, spicy penne pasta, and pulled pork pizza. It was more than enough food for two. One of the best calamari dishes I've ever had. The breading was just enough breading with a hint of something tasty in the batter. The spicy penne pasta wasn't too spicy, just a little kick of flavor. It was DELICIOUS!!! The pizza was packed with tons of topping, don't underestimate the size. Mark is one of the owners who was amazing!! Super friendly, warm, welcoming, super helpful, and just genuinely nice and kindhearted person. You could definitely tell how passionate he is about cooking, which makes the experience that much better. I will, without a doubt, be coming back and I recommend everyone to give this place a try!! I went to brava cucina for lunch today and was really impressed with the food. We had the meatball sandwich and a deli style pizza. I was a little unsure about the idea of a deli style pizza, but the flavors were so good, the crust was light, and I will definitely be going back to get it again and again. My boyfriend really loved the sandwich, he said the meatballs were flavorful and the burrata brought it to another level. It's a family owned restaurant and some of the family was working there, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Definitely check out this new restaurant in town. I'll be back! read more

This will place will thrive with the pride that Mark puts into the restaurant & the service he provides. Garlic bread was delicious with the home made marinara sauce. The lasagna tasted fresh & meaty as if the ingredients were just picked out that morning. The pizza tasted so good & fresh as well. These cheese on the pizza stretches out with every bite & the pizza dough is not greasy. The soda choices are unique & flavorful with multiple choices so mix & match for example you can make a root beer float flavor. So happy this place opened up by my house. Delicious! The linguini puttanesca had good flavor and a little bit of heat. Next time, I'd probably get it with shrimp and scallops. The chicken parmesan was also tasty and the sauce was not just your regular marinara sauce, it had a sweeter taste. Mark was super nice and friendly. He's obviously very proud of his family business and branching out. He gave us samples of the minestrone and lentil soups (both are good) as we waited and some extra garlic bread with our order. I had the linguini with clams and it was the worst I have ever had. Lots of linguini with few clams and a watery tasteless sauce. My husband had the spicy marinara and thought it was very good. Great Fresh Food! Great variety on menu from pizza to soup/salad to hot sandwiches to clams/mussels to pasta favorites to specialty dishes. Nice size portions. Pricing very fair, if I recall, personal pizza during lunch is only $4.95 and dinners $9.95-$14.95. Mostly setup for to-go orders, all made fresh, so takes 15-20 minutes if you don't call in order. We got three pizzas here. A cheese, a pepperoni and jalapeño and the Bianca. It was thicker than expected but my husband and son loved their pizzas. I thought that the Bianca was ok. Was disappointed to find there was no inside seating and their dinner menu was full dinner styles. Their meatball sub, which was highly noted in their reviews, is only served for lunch. Glad my wife and I finally decided to try Brava Cucina! We have been waiting for a night we wanted to order some takeout to try this place. To our surprise, when we got there we noticed a few tables and chairs (And a TV for Sunday night Fotball). As we were waiting for our pizza, the owner Mark came out with some complimentary minnestrone soups and garlic bread. Dough is made from scratch twice a day and is wonderful.
