Salad with chicken, beets, crispy onions, feta and special sauce
    Scott N.

My friend has tried to get into Brassica a few times and it was packed with a line out the door. Today we decided to get there when they opened. We were indeed the first customers on Friday morning (11 am). We looked at the menu board and decided to go to the counter and get schooled properly. The folks behind the counter were all super nice and helpful and it all became clear and quite simple. I loved all the options and the fresh pitas looked fantastic. That said, we both ended up with salads. The toppings were all excellent. The resulting meal was huge and delicious. After we both had paid, but before we sat down my friend said out loud, "Oh yeah, they have fries. Let's get some and I'll pay". The person behind the counter overheard and said she'd add fries and they would be on the house. Wow! This is not something seen very often. It was fantastic customer service and the gesture that pushed my review to five stars. The fries were wonderful. They were both crispy and light. They were also slightly spicy and one of the best fries I've ever had. We chatted for a bit after finishing, but Brassica wasn't finished yet. The proprietor came up and asked how everything was. He was genuine and had a huge smile. He offered to take our trays away... and he did. Icing on the cake. I didn't plan to give Brassica five stars, but they low-key earned it

Ive been wanting to try this new location for a while on recommendation of a co worker, but wanted to let the newness die down a bit. Came here around 1pm with co workers for a late lunch and the line was out the door. We decided to wait it out and were impressed with how quickly and efficiently they moved through that long line! The restaurant has plenty of nice seating inside and a huge gorgeous outdoor patio so finding a spot was easy. I went with the salad because watching them making the fresh salad base won me over, especially when they squeezed the fresh lemon over it. I added the chicken which was very tender and fresh, hummus, eggplant, and much more. For a drink I enjoyed the mint lemonade. If you get the salad plate make sure to ask for a to go top, as I could only eat half of it and had the rest for dinner! My co workers had the pita and pita plate with brisket and were equally impressed. This will be added as a staple to our lunch rotation. Great spot!

Wow, this place is amazing! From the moment we walked in we were impressed! It was a very welcoming atmosphere. We arrived around 2pm and there was a line to the door! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple but awesome and everything is customizable. It's kind of like a Chipotle but Mediterranean. As your base you choose a Hummus Bowl, Salad (Cabbage, Kale, and Lentils), or a fresh baked Pita Sandwich. I got the Salad Bowl, my husband and son each got the Brisket Pita Sandwich, French Fries, Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Minty Pink Lemonade (free refills) to drink. Everything was fresh, very flavorful, and tasted amazing delicious! They were making the pita right in front of you. Can't get any fresher than that! The prices were average. Customer service was great. Even the water temperature in the bathroom was perfect! We definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

Love Brassica and am thrilled we finally have one in the Cincinnati area! Hubs and I went in a Thursday evening. I had the brisket hummus bowl and he had the brisket pita. We both added from the selection of delicious vegetables: roasted carrots and eggplant, cucumbers and beets -- so good! Hubs added the fries to his order and he loved them! There was a line out of the door when we arrived - probably around 6:30-ish, so be prepared to wait or try off-peak hours since you aren't the only one who is eager to enjoy Brassica. The line is not fast-food speedy: helpful servers carefully prepare each order as you watch. And it's so worth it! Interior has the feel of a casual sit-down restaurant. You seat yourself in at a table. Plenty of parking in a big lot.

Brassica is THE best fast casual food in the area! After dining at the Easton location, I have been dreaming about that meal, and was ecstatic to see one open closer to me. But, why oh why did they put a location at Harpers Station?! After a to go and an online pick up experience, I can confidently say that I always want to have lunch here when I'm passing through, and they have things to work on. Pros: everything tastes so good! Would order the hummus over the baba ganoush IMO. It's awesome so many of the options are GF, and made with olive oil. So many flavors on flavors...if you like bland food, this is not for you! :) Cons: the to go, pick up, and parking experience. First, food is not ready on time, or even 5 minutes after the listed pick up time. And they do not seem to care how late the food is, there is no urgency or empathy. Second, the signage is slightly confusing, there are two different parking lot signs that both read like it's for pick up, but only one of them are. Third, if they don't give you a bag to keep your to go food in, it's cold by the time you get it home. The first time I ate here, I had no choice but to take it with me, as there was no seating and it was much too loud. Fourth, they need to label the to go sauces, especially for people that this is their first time trying them. Finally, the parking is BANANAS! They should have chose a spot that had access to the entire parking lot of the shopping center...there were people parking everyone and walking. So, although they need to tweak and work out many kinks, their food is next level, so it's bittersweet to eat at Brassica. Please add a location to the great Cincy area, like Liberty Twp!

Brassica is finally in NE Cincinnati in Harper's Point shopping center a modern take on a fast-casual Mediterranean create your own bowl or pita. I had the salad with brisket which was melt in your mouth good with fresh greens, baba ganoush smoked just right and then topped with tons of veggies crispy onions, marinated eggplant, roasted carrots, cauliflower, sweet beets, cabbage & then topped off with special sauce & roasted red peppers sauce. Shared an order of fries served hot with seasonings & loved the minty pink lemonade. Can't wait to return for more deliciousness.

...And just like that I have a new favorite fast-casual restaurant: Brassica! I visited unknowing they technically haven't even had their grand opening yet and are still working out the routine. I could hardly tell! Staff were knowledgeable and recommended sauces and encouraged me to try basically all the ingredients! The staff assemble a salad with grains or pita sandwich with your fav ingredients, I literally loaded up with all I could. Fried cauliflower and jalapeños, pickled red onion, smoky baba, cukes and radishes, and soooo much more. Zero complaints. With a water to drink, the salad grain bowl set me around $15 which is heavy but very worth the quality ingredients and a happy belly. Let's see more Brassicas in the region!!

I was really impressed by this restaurant, even coming in with high expectations based on good things I'd heard. I thought the food would taste too different compared to what I normally prefer, but it was all so flavorful and fresh. For a really affordable price, you can get a sandwich on a super soft pita, build a salad bowl, or hummus plate. Many of the add-in ingredients come at no additional charge too, and serving sizes were large. I like how this is an elevated fast casual experience because it can be a quick stop while still having great quality.

I've been hearing so much about this place I been dying to try it. For starters it's Lebanese owned so it's true Mediterranean food which puts the expectations high and they definitely did not disappoint. It's almost a chipotle style food service but with a nicer more modern interior + patio to sit. Everyone working was nice n friendly, I chatted with Sydney and Danielle while they were making my order and they were amazing. I ended up ordering a hummus plate with chicken and the brisket + all the yummy toppings. The food was so delicious and fresh in my opinion it was worth the 30+ minute wait. I love that I could eat the entire plate she still feel good and energized after. I am perfectly okay waiting the time if the food is worth while and it is! Will definitely be back.

I'm so glad that I don't have to go out of my way driving to Columbus to get Brassica anymore! I took my friends here for their first time and they loved it. Similar to Chipotle, you chose a salad (bowl), sandwich, or hummus at the beginning of the line and choose your hummus/baba, proteins, fresh vegetables, sauces, and can additionally order fries (a must when eating here). Everything you see on the line is fresh and vibrant. Staff is very nice, attentive, and good at recommending options when you're stuck on what to get for the day. If you're dining on the weekend, be sure to get there early because the line can get out the door at times!

Hubby and I stopped here for dinner and loved it!! I had the hummus plate with falafel. He went with the salad with chicken. We both added on the veggies as we went down the line. It was pretty busy when we first queued up, but the staff was efficient and the line moved pretty quickly. At the beginning of the line you can see the oven where they bake the pita fresh. I watched as the gentleman carefully laid the discs of dough on the pan and slid it into the oven. I got to watch the pita puff up into beautiful domes of fluffiness!! And they were so good!! My falafel were also yummy!! Crispy on the outside with a delicious filling inside. These and the veggies were placed atop a generous smear of hummus. The pita was warm which topped off the perfect meal!

Brassica is always a favorite spot when we visit Columbus and we're soo excited to welcome it to Cincinnati! Make your own Mediterranean bowls/pitas with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients! The portion sizes were noticeably less than what we receive in Columbus but perhaps that will change over time.

The Lahmacun reminded me of my visit to a Turkish restaurant in Kazakhstan many years ago -- it was that good. My adult kids also had the salmon and a chicken sauté and loved both... We are in town visiting and we went there for a nice meat meal after several days of dairy on the road. There were 6 of us at the table with 2 children. If I lived in town I would not be going back. They had 1 waitress working the entire place. She was kind enough but all she did was make excuses. We sat down at 6:15 and we did not get our hummus appetizer, which apparently they ran out of soon after, until 7:15. When we arrived there was only 2 tables occupied so it was not bustling. I am not sure how or why it took so long to prepare Hummus but given the ingredients I could have scratch cooked our entire meals in a fraction of that time. Again, when we arrived there were 2 other tables of 2 and maybe 1-2 small orders picked up during out time there. During our visit they had several more groups come in, some served before us, some getting the constant refrain, "we are out of this." It seems like there was 1 chef in the kitchen preparing all the food on their own. It is also highly problematic that they had 2 small children sitting there for an hour with not even a little bread or anything. We had to push the waitress to get the hot dogs out so they would calm down. As for the food, most of it was OK. The ribeye was properly cooked. The braised short rib was tender with a little wine flavor. The kids hot dogs were hot dogs. The chicken schwarma was flavorful. The Israeli salad was what you would expect. The green beans were overcooked, unseasoned and tasted like nothing. The worst and most impressive thing was how they got the mashed potatoes to taste like they came from a powder out of a box. I don't often leave something completely uneaten but they were inedible. How you can serve a $50 steak with such artificial swill is beyond me. I get it, they are the only option. Fail!
