My love for Brassica runs deeeeeep. I've gotten in Columbus and happened to drive by and notice this one in Cincy. I live about 35 min away, so I took the opportunity to go. This is "chipotle styled": you choose a bowl, a wrap, or a hummus plate. Then you add your protein. That's the price! Then add however many toppings you want. So so much better than chipotle with the topping options!!!! We're talking the juiciest, flavorful chicken, falafel, pita chips, pickled veggies and roasted carrots. I mean it's truly one of a kind. I have gone twice now & each time is so good! I got the salad bowl (comes with Wild rice and lentils too) chicken, sweet potatoes and broccoli. Topped with a roasted pepper sauce. Chefs kiss! The chicken is so flavorful! The pita is really good too! They make it in house. The fries have this seasoning on them that is the best! I don't even need to dip them in anything; they're just that good. It's always clean when I come inside and the staff is friendly. Brassica is a Chipotle-style Mediterranean restaurant with a hyper focus on quality ingredients. I've been twice now to mix things up and try different things on the menu. I can attest to how tasty both the chicken and brisket are in the salad bowls, which come layered with greens, grains and your choice of some lovely extra toppings including hummus or baba, Crispy fried onions or pita croutons, gorgeous smoky eggplant, carrots, cucumbers and radish, beets and pickled cabbage. All of the sauces I've topped it with have been outstanding. I recommend a side of the amazing crunchy falafel if you don't order it outright. I wasn't impressed with the small menu I saw online, but absolutely everything was so well seasoned every bite was an amazing experience. Had the hummus plate with the BEST falafel ever. Everything was fresh. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The owner or GM was in the dining room and very accessible. Brassica remains one of my favorite "fast" dining experiences in Cincy. It's so delicious, and I put the "fast" in quotes because it's so fresh and relatively healthy. They are constantly bringing the proteins and toppings from the oven. They are experts at handling a crowd, as there's usually one out the door at the lunch and dinner rush. They even ask "Will you be enjoying ____ in your bowl?" when walking you through the line, which is such a kind touch. They really pull out the stops, getting us high chairs and offering cups for water on our recent visit with a couple toddlers in tow. I also realized recently that you can order a kids meal, which is not on the menu. It comes with your choice of hummus or baba, grains, your choice of protein, and toppings. My baby really enjoyed this instead of eating off my plate! I took my mom also because I wanted her to try it, and she loved her brisket hummus plate. Whenever I have the option of eating out and it's my choice, I want to go to Brassica! So glad to have them here in Cincinnati for nearly a full year now. read more

I brought my book club (six of us) to Brassica last week, and most of them had never been before. By the time we left they were thanking me for choosing it! We found a quiet corner where we could actually talk. They've got such fresh food and you can create so many different combinations. The falafel, pickled vegetables, and spicy sauce (starts with a z?) were favorites. I also loved that we could meet at night and enjoy a glass of wine which is something you don't usually get at a counter-service spot. My friend has tried to get into Brassica a few times and it was packed with a line out the door. Today we decided to get there when they opened. We were indeed the first customers on Friday morning (11 am). We looked at the menu board and decided to go to the counter and get schooled properly. The folks behind the counter were all super nice and helpful and it all became clear and quite simple. I loved all the options and the fresh pitas looked fantastic. That said, we both ended up with salads. The toppings were all excellent. The resulting meal was huge and delicious. After we both had paid, but before we sat down my friend said out loud, "Oh yeah, they have fries. Let's get some and I'll pay". The person behind the counter overheard and said she'd add fries and they would be on the house. Wow! This is not something seen very often. It was fantastic customer service and the gesture that pushed my review to five stars. The fries were wonderful. They were both crispy and light. They were also slightly spicy and one of the best fries I've ever had. We chatted for a bit after finishing, but Brassica wasn't finished yet. The proprietor came up and asked how everything was. My friends have all raved about Brassica in Columbus so I'm glad we got a chance to try it in Cincinnati. I'll admit I recently tried Cava too but Brassica is more elevated. There was a steady flow of customers for dinner but we got through the line quickly. There was a wait for falafel so my friend and I got brisket instead. Wow, this place is amazing! From the moment we walked in we were impressed! It was a very welcoming atmosphere. We arrived around 2pm and there was a line to the door! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is simple but awesome and everything is customizable. It's kind of like a Chipotle but Mediterranean. As your base you choose a Hummus Bowl, Salad (Cabbage, Kale, and Lentils), or a fresh baked Pita Sandwich. I got the Salad Bowl, my husband and son each got the Brisket Pita Sandwich, French Fries, Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Minty Pink Lemonade (free refills) to drink. Everything was fresh, very flavorful, and tasted amazing delicious! They were making the pita right in front of you. Can't get any fresher than that! The prices were average. I am loving this Chipotle style, of different cultural food, that is happening lately! Brassica is a Greek style food line, where you can build a pita sandwich, a salad, or a bowl. I had a pita sandwich with brisket, pickled cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, feta cheese, and with a little bit of special sauce (a tzatziki sauce with an herb/garlic taste). Their seasoned fries are incredible with the special sauce! I also got a salted chocolate chip cookie. Finally, I recommend their minty pink lemonade! It's not too much mint. There was a line out of the door when we arrived - probably around 6:30-ish, so be prepared to wait or try off-peak hours since you aren't the only one who is eager to enjoy Brassica. Brassica is THE best fast casual food in the area! After dining at the Easton location, I have been dreaming about that meal, and was ecstatic to see one open closer to me. But, why oh why did they put a location at Harpers Station?! After a to go and an online pick up experience, I can confidently say that I always want to have lunch here when I'm passing through, and they have things to work on. Pros: everything tastes so good! Would order the hummus over the baba ganoush IMO. It's awesome so many of the options are GF, and made with olive oil. So many flavors on flavors...if you like bland food, this is not for you! :) Cons: the to go, pick up, and parking experience. First, food is not ready on time, or even 5 minutes after the listed pick up time. And they do not seem to care how late the food is, there is no urgency or empathy. Second, the signage is slightly confusing, there are two different parking lot signs that both read like it's for pick up, but only one of them are. Third, if they don't give you a bag to keep your to go food in, it's cold by the time you get it home. The first time I ate here, I had no choice but to take it with me, as there was no seating and it was much too loud. Fourth, they need to label the to go sauces, especially for people that this is their first time trying them. Finally, the parking is BANANAS! They should have chose a spot that had access to the entire parking lot of the shopping center...there were people parking everyone and walking. I could hardly tell! Staff were knowledgeable and recommended sauces and encouraged me to try basically all the ingredients! The staff assemble a salad with grains or pita sandwich with your fav ingredients, I literally loaded up with all I could. Fried cauliflower and jalapeños, pickled red onion, smoky baba, cukes and radishes, and soooo much more. Zero complaints. It was pretty busy when we first queued up, but the staff was efficient and the line moved pretty quickly. At the beginning of the line you can see the oven where they bake the pita fresh. I watched as the gentleman carefully laid the discs of dough on the pan and slid it into the oven. I got to watch the pita puff up into beautiful domes of fluffiness!! And they were so good!! My falafel were also yummy!! Crispy on the outside with a delicious filling inside. These and the veggies were placed atop a generous smear of hummus. I've been hearing so much about this place I been dying to try it. For starters it's Lebanese owned so it's true Mediterranean food which puts the expectations high and they definitely did not disappoint. It's almost a chipotle style food service but with a nicer more modern interior + patio to sit. Everyone working was nice n friendly, I chatted with Sydney and Danielle while they were making my order and they were amazing. Ive been wanting to try this new location for a while on recommendation of a co worker, but wanted to let the newness die down a bit. Came here around 1pm with co workers for a late lunch and the line was out the door. We decided to wait it out and were impressed with how quickly and efficiently they moved through that long line! The restaurant has plenty of nice seating inside and a huge gorgeous outdoor patio so finding a spot was easy. I went with the salad because watching them making the fresh salad base won me over, especially when they squeezed the fresh lemon over it. I added the chicken which was very tender and fresh, hummus, eggplant, and much more. For a drink I enjoyed the mint lemonade. If you get the salad plate make sure to ask for a to go top, as I could only eat half of it and had the rest for dinner! My co workers had the pita and pita plate with brisket and were equally impressed. This will be added as a staple to our lunch rotation. Great spot! read more

I love the option of making your own salad bowl, but they also have the option to make a sandwich in their pita bread. I recommend getting the fries and their lemonade with your meal.
