My Negroni was boozy and was actually pretty good. The service was also really good as well. They have three levels which does make it more spacious but it's still pretty busy and crowded on weekends

Chicken Caesar Wrap

We stumbled across Brass Monkey after finishing up on the high line and it was a great accident! We got the chicken caeser wrap which was so yummy! Came with a side of fries and multiple sauces. They also have a great drink deal which you get a "big and a little" (shot and a beer) for $10! It's a three story restaurant/bar that has a ton of different seating options. The very top if a rooftop bar that has covered options too! Highly highly recommend stopping by!

Overzealous security bruised me... not sure why as I wasn't doing anything and they didn't give any justification.

Good vibes, decent price for the area. Got a blue moon. The cocktails were super small

We came here after going to Chelsea piers (about a 15 minute walk). They open around 4pm on Sunday and we were seated at the rooftop terrace. The rooftop terrace had plenty of sunlight and a decent amount of tables. The rooftop terrace faces little Island. I love the chicken fingers here, they come with fries as well (around $13). I also got a brass monkey light ($8)- it was a great light beer. The nachos were average. I would recommend the chicken finger w fries. It comes with ranch and bbq sauce to dip in. The Service was great!! The server checked on our table multiple times, always making sure we had drinks. Great spot to chill with friends during the day! I have not been here at night so can't speak to it.

Chicken Tenders With Dipping Sauces and Nachos

My friends and I came here on a Sunday afternoon going to Chelsea Pier. We waited til 4pm so we can go up to their rooftop bar. The bar seems pretty chill and the service was attentive. They checked on us few times. We managed to get one of the back tables where there was shade. Food - The drinks were good. Basic bar stuff and good beer. The chicken tenders were a big hit. We had 3 couples and each couple got their own plate of chicken tenders. The Spinach and Artichoke dip was okay. This is a good spot to chill with your friends.

Are tables big enough to fit 10-15 people?

No... I mean they can put multiple little tables together.

The bar is open. I sat with friends and we didn't wear masks.

Is there a dress code?

I was there last Friday, no dress code.

Is this a decent place to dance?

Not that I'm aware of. Just a big-ass bar.

In the summer the rooftop is awesome and in the winter, you get friendly service downstairs at the bar.

The age range was closer to early twenties, with some individuals in their mid twenties. The black female bouncer was so racist. She told me I went in and out five times, but it was the second time I even left the building. I'm guessing it's because my friend group had a good amount of asian, so she thinking we all look the same. Very disappointing experience to be discriminated against when you just want to have a good night out. Five times is crazy. I told her this was the second time I'd left, and she said I had to be back in five minutes. We also had a table, so to spend on a table and still be discriminated for leaving and returning to the place that we paid for a table at is wild. Disgusting attitude, racist, black female bouncer.

The hot toddy I got was pretty good and I liked the flavor. The ski shot which is 4 shots of $50 was overpriced in my opinion. Unfortunately the actual experience was soured by the fact that apparently it's $50 pp min if you reserve a table and then in the end they tried to charge us for people who didn't show up even though we did fill the table. I understand the policy and the manager was super nice to us and tried to rectify the situation but our waitress ended up being super rude in the end. They gave us a small discount but we ended up having to buy a lot of tickets to use in the future. Wasn't too happy about how things ended so would probably recommend that you go in the evening to avoid crowds if that's not your vibe and also do not book a table.

This person proceeds to say one of the workers kicked his friend out because she was "assaulted" and let me tell you this is far from the truth, as I was the one who was apart of that altercation. To set the scene: I was there with my boyfriend this night. We come here once a month if not every other month for a smoke and cocktail. There was a group of loud folks - who we presume had been drinking - but didn't think much of it. At some point I had to use the bathroom, and there's only one here. I knocked on the door and turned the knob but it was locked. I wanted a few minutes, knocked again - lightly both times - but again no one came out. There was some old newspaper nearby that had in my hand while I waited for someone to come out. A moment later a woman barged from bathroom angrily and was holding her hand up and it appeared she had something sharp - like a hand knife or small blade. She was belligerent, yelling about why I was bothering her in the bathroom and got really close. I was almost sure she was going to stab or seriously injure me with whatever she had in her hand. I only had a moment to think and defend myself... she was pretty damn loud that everyone turned around. I shoved her to give me some space between her and myself and that sharp object. She then started screaming and I pushed her away again, and she continued to charge after me. My own boyfriend and two men had to get her away (for context I'm 5'3 100lbs and she was a lot lager than myself) and she was dragged out by staff and kicked her friends out as well. Outside, you can hear her screaming and crying saying I had started it, I assaulted her, she was going to call the cops etc.. Im glad I wasn't hurt because she's absolutely insane and I should have been the one to call and press charges for her making an attempt. No one harassed her even in the slightest. She was incredibly drunk or blacked out or high on cocaine or something. They have security footage and the testimonies of my own boyfriend who witnessed it happen from start to finish and several other people + staff that could recount this story. That said - FAFO. Good riddance and don't come back, chump.

I stumbled upon it recently again, and as is the case with most lounges, things have relatively stayed the same: long bar with lots of seating, but a super narrow place that doubles up with seating, so you can get pretty cramped in here at peak hours. Still, it's a good place to lounge and chill, kick back with a good cigar, and enjoy a decent selection of bourbons. Good service at overall. Must say that their selection of cigars is not the best, as is often the case with lounges with no humidor.

Equally bomb! Perfect combo if you're drinking. You just HAVE to get a Sapporo when you're at a Japanese spot. I ended the meal with the café cocktail which I normally wouldn't order without milk... but this one? Sweet, delicious, and totally didn't need it. It was so good! Now the DJ... not jazz, not chill vibes, not whatever TikTok led me to expect. Nope. Full-on techno/trip hop/drum & bass mashup that was so loud I had to yell at my husband across the table, "HOW'S YOUR BURGER?!" And the bouncer out front - bless him, but communication skills = 0. He asked if we had a reservation, then gestured for IDs with his hands which my husband understood as whip out your reservation... after my husband is fumbling with his phone and showing the bouncer our reservation, the bouncer THEN clarified, and I felt like I was in some annoying game of charades. As an older born and raised New Yorker, the tough guy bouncer act is TIRED! We've seen it. Move on. Other than that? Food amazing. Service with our waitresses was amazing. And the decor was fire with the vinyls on the wall. Would I go back? Maybe. Especially if next time they swap the techno for some Japanese jazz so I can actually hear my husband without yelling.

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

I booked a social package that included 90 minutes of reserved seating, one round of mini golf, and a $25 food or drink voucher per person. When we arrived, we were given tickets for mini golf, but the staff seemed unsure about how the food and drink vouchers worked. After some back-and-forth, we learned the vouchers could only be used on the second floor, and if used for drinks, there was only one option available -- a blue rum drink with coconut. Unfortunately, the drink missed the mark for me and my friends, and the recipe could definitely use some improvement. We were also never shown where our reserved seating was, which was disappointing. That said, I had an amazing group of friends, and we still made the night a lot of fun. We played the Lodge course on the second floor, which is their most challenging course and beautifully decorated. I also loved the tablet that kept score for us -- it was a great touch. The rooftop area is another highlight: it's heated and really enjoyable during the winter. Overall, while the atmosphere and mini golf were fun, I wouldn't book a party package again -- it wasn't worth the cost. Next time, I'd just pay for mini golf directly.
