Le Bain is one of the few NYC spots that still carries real name recognition--even outside the city. If you know, you know. Getting in isn't guaranteed. Dress well, the door is up to the doorman. The crowd can feel a little "here for the outfit," but with the right group it's still a good time. Drinks are expensive (cucumber lemonade is solid), and on weeknights the crepe spot upstairs is pretty much your only food option. Tables are available but come with a minimum. The hot tub is the main thing. People say don't get in...do what you want. Once one person's in, more follow. Paradisco on Sundays--get there early and eat before, bar service can be hit or miss. Tuesdays (On Top) is more late night, club kids/celebs, and doesn't really get going till around midnight. read more

The Vibes at the club were good. Bottle service was good, and the bottle girl was so cute and friendly. Very sweet and good vibes, very cozy. The age range was closer to early twenties, with some individuals in their mid twenties. The black female bouncer was so racist. She told me I went in and out five times, but it was the second time I even left the building. I'm guessing it's because my friend group had a good amount of asian, so she thinking we all look the same. Very disappointing experience to be discriminated against when you just want to have a good night out. Five times is crazy. I told her this was the second time I'd left, and she said I had to be back in five minutes. We also had a table, so to spend on a table and still be discriminated for leaving and returning to the place that we paid for a table at is wild. Amazing spot with amazing views. The interior and 360 view did not disappoint. The vibes and music were great. My only complaint is that I ordered two vodka redbulls for me and my boyfriend and paid $80 plus tip. Now I know the city is pricey, but this seems to be getting out of hand. I thought for sure the bartender was just trying to overcharge me but the breakdown fully showed everything. Regardless, we had a great time and enjoyed our drinks. read more

Had a great night at Le Bain! There was a bit of a line to get in even with tickets (which you do need by the way) but it's a free space which is great. Inside the views were perfect and it wasnt too crowded, there was some space to dance. Saw Rich Medina do a full set on vinyl only which was amazing, his choices were so funky and just banger after banger. Sound was great but lighting couldve been a bit better. Tons of disco balls but they werent used much. There was an open air upstairs area too with even better views of downtown manhattan and jersey but way more crowded and the music was harder to hear. Downstairs much much better but nice to have a place for some fresh air. read more

Writing as an out of town visitor, Le Bain was interesting. One thing I'll note is I was a little bit overdressed for the environment, I saw a younger crowd, dressed more casual in sneakers and jeans as opposed to tight dresses. Meanwhile, I came in looking like a baddie in a snatched leather corset dress and while I looked amazing, I feel as though I might've looked too amazing and I will need to recycle this look. The music was more electric-type, and I generally prefer hip-hop, but the vibe in there was cool, people were dancing and seemed to be having a lot of fun. My cosmopolitan was $20 which for New York I felt like was standard in terms of pricing, and I liked it, wasn't too sweet. It surprisingly wasn't too difficult to get a drink despite it being pretty busy in there. The rooftop gave an amazing skyline view of the city, and I could see it definitely being a destination spot on those warm New York summer nights. I think the pool inside made for a fun touch for ambience, but I did feel like there was no way I was going to get in there. But the gentleman working there assured me that the pool is cleaned daily. There were some people who got a little wild that night, and there was some vomit near the entrance, but the people working there were helpful to make sure we didn't step in it. Overall, the club appears to accommodate a younger crowd in their 20s, and as a woman in her 30s it wasn't necessarily my vibe but I think someone in their 20s would have a really fun time there and it's worth checking out if life hasn't beaten you to smithereens yet and you still have the drive within to go out and get a little freaky with it. read more

Come for the amazing city views from the roof. Aside from that the bar is no frills, basic drinks and everything was sticky and felt somewhat run down. The espresso martini was pre batched and they were going to serve it straight up with no shaking. I asked for mine to be shaken, my friend didn't and it was warm. read more

This past weekend as I was heading out I watched four staff members haul an unconscious woman, one on each limb, out of the elevator and essentially throw her out onto the street like garbage in subzero temperatures with no coat on. Seriously, it was so appalling. My friend was still up there and confirmed she had passed out up by the bar, and had not been combative as much as she had been just overly intoxicated. So many other clubs have thoughtful contingency plans when people need assistance (hi nowadays!) because their businesses are predicated on people being intoxicated. The vibes were already not great but witnessing their treatment of this woman sealed it and I doubt I'll be back. I really hope she's ok. read more

Crowd is iffy sometimes but there is no cover. The most beautiful bathrooms you will probably ever see and free coat check. Have been here many times, mostly for the view when taking out of towners. Best night ever! Honestly if you're from a city where things close late late and wanna parrrrtayyy this was the spot! I went in a Wednesday nite after a friend invited me for a DJ set that was totally rained out. I thought "no way can the nite be over it's only 1am and isn't this the city that NEVER SLEEPS?!?! Coming from Miami, you can easily find places open til about 4am. So we got invited (my friend and i) to take a Uber to Le Bain and it did not disappoint! It's so quiet on the street level, i was convinced there is no way anything is going on, you couldn't hear anything and respectfully that's how it should be A huge elevator, like in Disney's haunted ride, we packed in and were greeted with the best of the best Afrobeats, Amapiano music. There was a huge pony by the entrance and a POOOLLLL?!?! yeah i wish i had a swimsuit id so be in there! Come to think of it idk if they had swimsuits The DJ was lit! I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Gorgeous rooftop and I really dug the music. It's hard to describe the music that was playing, but it was easy to dance to. There were some remixes of classically popular songs. There is no cover charge and free coat check. There's a hot tub that opens during the summer and an outdoor rooftop. We had to wait online to get in on a Saturday night but my friend had a reservation and we got to skip the line. The drinks are pricey but standard for a place in NY (around $14). I had a great time. Watch out -- gratuity is already included! Be careful: the bar located right at the entrance of the hotel adds gratuity to the bill automatically, without informing guests. Because of this, many people -- myself included -- end up tipping twice. Today I ordered an Aperol Spritz -- the bartender (with noticeable eye makeup) charged me $40, and I added an extra $8 tip, not realizing gratuity was already included. I only noticed it later when I checked the receipt. Advice: Always double-check your bill and ask whether gratuity is already included. Racist establishment. I've had better experiences here many times. But on Nov 01 2025, I came here and I got a racist bouncer who wouldn't let me in no matter what. I've never experienced such racism in my life. She let my friends enter the club but not me. They let 4/5 people in my group in but not me. One of the female bouncers refused to let me in no matter what. They refused to give any reason. All of my friends and me ended up leaving the venue. I've never had such a hostile experience at a club. I'm there to spend money. To treat your customers in such a way is disrespectful. Your drinks are overpriced and the view of Manhattan isn't unique to this venue anyways. I can't believe I would not be let in as a frequent customer on Halloween and be shown such racism and contempt. I'm glad I didn't spend more money here. Good luck to others who decide to patronize this place. I wouldn't recommend it. Don't patronize racist establishments. If I could rate this place a 0, I would. Halloween night 2025 I was with my Fiance and my best friend on the line with RSVP tickets to the event that night from 22:00 to 4:00 according to the event. First, the place opened late, about 30 minutes. Second, we waited over two hours long in the cold to finally get to the front of the entrance around 00:45. A guy next to bouncers with a skin sewn face mask looks at my Fiance and I and says for us to leave. I asked why and he said "because I said so." I didn't argue because I refuse to spend money and any more time at a place where we are treated rude and disrespectful. Personally I am of Hispanic descent and my Fiance is black and Hispanic. We weren't causing a scene or causing issues . That comment came out of nowhere and I didn't appreciate it. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone at all. Save your money and go to another bar or club that will accept any and everyone who comes through. We are two teachers and my Fiance is an EMT. We are good wholesome people and we will not be returning to such malicious behavior. Use your time on a different location. read more

This is one of the coolest spots in NYC! The rooftop bar has creepes that are out of this world, and the drinks pour all night! We spent some time here last evening watching the sun set and having the most amazing bartender. Lily serves us perfectly designed drinks. The cool breeze, the sun setting my wife and I enjoyed the wonderful music bit the Bartender Lily made the night even better! We hope to go back next time we are in town. Also not that the level of security was terrific, and we felt safe from walking around the streets. We went here after a boozy Sunday brunch.  Le Bain is located in the Standard hotel. You go up an elevator through a club area with a pool, disco ball, and a horse.    We went to the rooftop area with amazing views of NYC, Jersey City, Hudson River, and Little Island.  We loved having drinks and enjoying the view in this chic casual spot. I loved the crepe station in the middle of the rooftop. Enjoyed a savory ham and cheese crepe from the station. It went down well with the pitcher of drinks that were ordered. read more

We were shocked by how rudely we were treated at Le Bain. After waiting 45 minutes in line, one friend's valid Vermont ID wasn't accepted because the bouncer demanded a physical passport. Another friend forgot his ID, so we said we'll go ahead without him. Instead, the bouncer suddenly rejected our entire group and told us to leave. We've never been turned away from a bar or club before - we weren't causing any trouble, just trying to have a fun night out. Honestly, we were shocked by how the situation was handled. It was such an unnecessarily rude interaction and a strange way to start the night. With so many other great spots nearby, we definitely won't be going back anytime soon. read more

I didn't know people still got down like this. My evenings there were pretty fuckin' stellar. I came on two different nights and the general vibe was basically the same. What i loved most was that PEOPLE WERE DANCING!!! More than just standing around and tryna get laid, they were enjoying great music, but bomb DJ's. The room is awesome, spacious (for New York) and scenic (overlooks the Hudson). The freaky ride in the dark elevator just to get up to the club is its own kinda titillation. Stopped by one weekend afternoon and it was easy to get in. Seemed like casual dress code was fine. Once IDs are checked you'll wait in a dark lobby with glow in the dark art on the walls. An elevator opens with two attendants taking you upstairs. The first level has a small pool/hot tub with disco balls & a bar. Usually opens around 4pm. A nice spot if you want to be in the AC and enjoy the pool. They have towels too. Good DJ. Take the stairs or elevator up one more level to the rooftop and you'll see a beautiful view of lower Manhattan and west side. Views of the Freedom tower, Little Island, and Hudson River can be seen. They have various cocktails on the menu. The bartender also mentioned he can make two of the drinks as mocktail (cucumber limeade & Harry's get down). If you are looking for a snack check out the little crepe corner. If you are vegan they have a fruit cup as an option. Plenty of open seating and perfect city photo ops. Good spot for a chill afternoon drink. At night it seems like it may be a bit more challenging to get in. read more

The views, vibe, and location are all top notch. I loved my time here, each and everytime I come. It's definitely super crowded and popular place. I came to meet some friends here who got a table. I don't love how places like this does where you have to order a minimum in order to grab a table. The price floor is set pretty high and I drink like a fish so it's hard to even hit that number. Drinks aren't cheap either so you'd think you can hit the minimum quickly, but we couldn't in the alotted time. Fortunately, the servers were cool about it and didn't charge us the remaining difference since we came pretty close. We did grab a couple of drinks from the bar before we got to the table so I think they added that potential amount to the tab. The views are amazing and the music was great. Not too loud to drown out conversations and not elevator music either, really set the vibe. I did want to come one time for when Madonna came to do a random performance with some drag queens but the line was out the door and wrapped around the block twice, so you weren't getting in. And if you did, you would have missed the short performance anyways. Overall, love the place. Many good rooftop bars in the city, but this is one of my favorites. read more

This was a terrible experience. Nobody was in line and the club was incredibly boring but the bouncers were EVIL! They were so rude when we fully were hanging out in line same as everyone else. They attacked us and drove us away. It's not worth the terrible experience outside the venue. Wouldn't recommend. Brass monkey around the corner is pretty nice though! read more
