Everything went like clockwork, no delays, no issues. We did all new cabinets, all new counters, all new lighting, redo plumbing, regrouting the tiles. ALL CAME OUT GREAT. Haroldo and his team did a fantastic job on my kitchen countertops! From picking out the counters to getting them installed, it took only a week. He came to demolish my current counter top in one day and put the new one in the next day! Both the speed and prices are impeccable. The quality of the stone is very good. He has a showroom on Victoria and Chapala, I got to choose which stone I liked most in person! I am seeing the bad reviews and what I can say about them are, no matter who you work with, you should start with clear communication about exactly what you want and what the contactors will do. Also ask them to take a thorough look at your project for a precise estimate on price and time. I did that with Haroldo and he made sure to give me exactly what I asked for. Very happy with the job done by Brazil Stone! They will be doing my two guest bathrooms soon. read more

I've just been remodelling my kitchen & needed a new countertop as well as everything else. I had one price & was recommended by a couple of friends who have dealt with them before to try Brasil Stone. They were competitive on price so I gave them the job. They responded within the timeframe they committed to and did a first class installation, hence the 5 star rating. read more

Best Day Ever.. We decided on a Kitchen Refresh after being in our home for 35 years. Our kitchen still had the original Formica white with gold flecks on our counters. We walked onto the lot at Brasil Stone, and found the one so quickly. So many wonderful slabs to choose from. We put a deposit on it and they held it for us till the contractor was ready. Haroldo Souza ,owner came with an assistant to measure and make a templet. When it was time a team came and had it in place in no time. It fit like a glove. They polished it and it is Beautiful. I am also going to use a piece of the remnant to change out a Bathroom counter. We highly recommend Brasil Stone 1233 De La Vina St, SB,CA 93101 J&D Chaves read more

We needed to replace a damaged exterior table top. After visiting local stone companies in Santa Barbara, we decided to have Brasil Stone on De La Vina Street fabricate a new table top for us. Shadina helped us select the appropriate stone for our existing outside table. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She organized the process from start to finish. She sent Haroldo, the owner, to look at the job. His son then came to create the template for the new stone table top . We were extremely impressed with attention to detail for a small job. The turn around time was within a two week period. The finished table top has been installed and is truly beautiful. Their prices are competitive and the customer service and workmanship are excellent. I highly recommend this company. read more

Caveat emptor. Before I do business with any contractor, designer or supplier I check with the state of CA and the City of SB for their license and their record of violations and complaints. Before you do business with Brasil Stone you should also check with the state and the city and ask around town. This business's reputation is well earned and well documented. read more

I have been involved in the construction industry and have a bachelor's degree in architecture, so I understand the challenges of how granite slabs should be cut to provide a seamless look at corners and joints. I know it when a contractor is doing a good job with scheduling and with coordinating with other trades to make everything fit perfectly. However, because the work is practically hand-made and custom fit, adjustments are standard in the industry. Horaldo meticulously checked the carpentry of the kitchen before fabricating the slab. That said, Brasil Stone did a fantastic job! read more

Ordered countertops for our outdoor bbq area. After a poor job from another contractor on our indoor countertops, we were very surprised at how well fabricated and installed the new countertops are. Much nicer than the indoor ones, better material, better fabricated, and less money. Would definitely recommend. read more

I was very pleased with the workmanship and customer service. They were punctual and very courteous. I looked at many samples of quartz and granite at other places and couldn't find what I liked. My first trip to Brazil Stone was successful. They had just what I wanted at very responsible prices. I was also able to purchasing flooring and a sink through them. I loved the one stop shopping. I am completely happy with the results of the work by Brasil, I would highly recommend them to all my friends. The work was done to all my specifications and even more for I had details that needed intricate cuts on certain corners. Not one flaw. My kitchen and stone are exquisite and I am so glad I chose Brasil to do the work. He even took me to the warehouse to chose the stone of my liking with a wide array to choose from and with an eye for design it made it easy to complete with the back splash he also suggested. If you want it right go with Brasil : ) Fast, friendly service and done in a timely manner. Just what I like. read more

I had Brasil stone design and install my new kitchen cabinets, and they are beautiful. They are great to work with, and Harold is the best. I also picked them to install beautiful stone in my kitchen. It looks beautiful I gave him 4 stars because we did have a hiccup on the design. I have electric kitchen unfortunately, and he convinced me to have a stove top instead of conventional slide in stove. So the stone was cut for that and unfortunately he nor I knew you need two 220's plus for that. But the problem was remedied. Recut the stone. I have used Harold for my kitchen and bathroom before. They do great work, and super to work with. I just referred him to a new client as a matter of fact. read more

Horrendous installation job from these guys. Cut a gorgeous piece of granite too short and then two very rude men did a horrible patch job. They have great stone an very competitive prices, but unless you have someone else to cut and install, I would steer clear. read more

Such a great experience working with well educated and friendly personnel. Picked out a cream colored quartz that is absolutely beautiful! Stone came in on time, and was reasonably priced. Will recommend working with Brasil Stone to all my friends and family. read more

Brasil Stone has great granite slabs but don't do business with him. I left a valuable 1/2 slab of granite ($800) with him on consignment. He now denies he ever got it. I'm out the money and he won't do anything about it. Go somewhere else where they have higher integrity and professional quality controls. read more

Got a quote. Planned our kitchen budget around quote. Returned after all was remodeled but cabinets and our countertop price was now quoted at double. Went elsewhere and used Cambria stone quartz composite...looks great and stain proof. read more

Negative stars if I could. DO NOT DO business with Brasil Stone!!!! Heraldo is not a reputable guy. He talked us into buying 2 slabs of granite although we weren't ready to do the whole kitchen. Said it wouldn't match otherwise and that we could store it there. We then decided to finish the kitchen and after numerous calls and emails he came out to give us a quote to finish the granite install. I thought the quote was high and asked him what is exactly was it for. He had not given me a break down just a price. He told me to do the math?! I asked again please tell me all that you are doing with the money? No reply. I then said " I'll just come get my slab and have someone else fabricate it. He says he can get it to me because its being stored in a shop somewhere. Finally after months of this he says I can go get it. Go there with another stone company and he tries to give me a slab totally different than what i have. Tried to tell me no that is what you have. This one is just faded? But wait it was in a shop? I told him no it isn't mine I bought Maderia Gold, he tells me "no you are wrong"!. I have a picture on my phone I show him and the guy from other store. He says picture doesn't show it correctly because of the lighting. Guy from other shop says "you know Heraldo, I'm going to go to her house and if she is right, I going to call you out". As we are leaving Heraldo "says, I want the money for storing it?' What money? Its not the same slab!!!!! Other guy goes to my house and confirms (what I knew all along) that is was indeed Maderia Gold. This guy is a crook!! All he had to say is "hey I sold that and maybe we can work something out" But instead he wasted my time and that of the other guy. Who by the way charged me nothing for his time. That is the sign of a reputable and honest business. And don't even get me started on the quality of the first slab. I have to redo all the counters now. read more
