So, it is difficult to pay $ 800 dollars for a job that is done in one hour and 5 minutes. I understand inflation is high but there should be some kind of consideration with the customers. In any case yellow pages advertises the charge of $150 per hour, and that does include the commute of the technician to the site. Amazon would've taken a couple of days too many for me. I decided to look for "PC repair' in the Pt Washington, NY, Manhasset, NY areas. I called Henry, who was not in the office, and explained the situation. He immediately offered some thermal paste free of charge and called his assistant back at the office that I was on my way. Gladys was charming and helpful. I had my paste in a minute, returned home, and was able to be my son's hero. What's that worth, folks?
