What an amazing evening we had here thanks to our AMAZING server Marko! As tourists we didn't know what to expect and we were very pleased. We enjoyed it so much I came back the next day for lunch. The frozé is quite the most refreshing delicious thing I've ever had. The Bloody Mary comes from a premade mix in house that isn't too spicy. Their espresso Martinis are made with rum which I'm usually not a rum fan and WOWZA! We started our first experience with the Sirloin steak tagliatta, the amount of flavor packed into a starter was unbelievable! It was mouth watering. The Nantucket in a bowl hit all the seafood cravings I needed! Their ribeye was absolutely cooked to perfection! It can get cool in the evenings sitting outside after a day in the sun, however the environment is beautiful looking right onto the waterway. This restaurant was an anniversary evening dream!

Came for a sunset dinner on the patio and SO THANKFUL we did! Our servers were fantastic, the entire experience felt elevated and special, and the food was out of this world! We enjoyed the bread service, halibut with broccolini, clam chowder, and risotto. Wish we had saved room to try dessert! Highly recommend BPG for a special meal on Nantucket.

Lovely spot for drinks! Great place to watch boats come into the harbor. The service was fast and great recommendations were given.

The service and setting was good, but the food was mixed. Our server was really friendly and accommodating when I asked to make a change to the halibut entree. We sat outside and it was really pretty. They had heat lamps so the temperature was comfortable. We got the bread basket, tuna tartare, and I had the halibut with the tuna sides. The hummus in the bread basket was good, but the actual bread was a little disappointing. There was a flat bread stick thing and olive bread. Given you were paying for the bread ($7), I expected it to be better. The tuna in the tuna tartare was too soft and the dish was lacking a texture. I did think the pineapple was a nice addition. The tuna sides that I got with my halibut were good (cold soba noodles, bok choy, kimchi), but the halibut was a little tough and could've used more flavoring.

A busy but nice restaurant for hotel guests. Off-season, it's probably a good date-night spot for locals too. Pictures are from dinner, pool-service (technically not Brant Point Grill), the bar, and room service during our stay!

Let's be real: you go to a place like Brant Point Grill for the view, not the food. But with prices like it has, I would at least except impeccable service, and that was perhaps the worst part of the meal. Everything on Nantucket is expensive, and Brant Point Grill was no different. The food was fine, even good, but nothing to write home about. The Lobster Mac n' Cheese, burger, and truffle fries were all good, but no better than anything I had had off-island for less. The drinks (a tequila cocktail and an espresso martini) were likewise good, and strong, though under-garnished. But. But, the real problem with this restaurant was the service. First, he asked if we wanted bread before we had even looked at the menus at the same time as taking our water order, so we agreed not realizing it was an extra charge of $7. The bread was delicious, but this approach felt underhanded and off-putting. And then our waiter rushed us SO MUCH the meal was in no way relaxing or enjoyable. He rushed us to order, rushed our food, rushed our bill. Our food arrived before we had barely taken a sip of our cocktails, and we were done our entrees within 35 minutes of sitting down. He brought our check before we were done our second round of drinks, and well before we were ready to go. I understand they have people to seat so they need to move the tables, but 90-120 minutes is a very standard dining time and we were there barely 70--and that was us pushing it, not our waiter. If the restaurant wants to impose an hour's time limit, they should clearly state that when the reservations are made and no longer consider themselves a leisurely, luxury restaurant. And we were not the only table this was happening to--we overheard two woman insist to the waiter that they wanted to sit and enjoy their drinks, as he kept bothering them. Absolutely ridiculous.

Excellent food and service at this hotel restaurant. Located inside the White Elephant main building. The ambience was quite simple and modern which is what I was not expecting for the price level. The attire is casual smart. Because there was a convention in town there was a huge tent construction outside where normally the restaurant would be on the patio seeing the seaport view, there was not much to see from our window view table. The food was known for their mac and cheese lobster which was excellent! It actually is not on the heavy cream side it is more on the authentic lobster bisque consistency which made it incredibly delightful and nice chunks of lobster meat in this dish. Then we had fall off the bone lamb shank. It was made incredibly well. The oysters were perfect since they were from Nantucket. The ice cream was homemade and my favorite was matcha and they had coffee and raspberry swirl fruit. The service was excellent with probably trained, friendly and inviting. All overall my experience was good. I'd like to come back when I could eat outside

While staying at the hotel, we had some great meals here. While the prices are incredibly high ($16 for clam chowder), it's to be expected when it's a at a hotel, on an island, and you've got beautiful harbor views. It was super nice being able to pop in for a drink and some apps in the evening, or for a nice breakfast or lunch. Nate at the bar was our favorite part about Brant Point Grill! He was so friendly and made some great recommendations. His espresso martini was also the best I've ever had. Don't miss it! Some items that really stood out were: - Great Point Oysters - Nate's espresso martinis - Chocolate lava cake - Fruit plate (perfect light breakfast)

Excellent atmosphere with outdoor seating on the wharf. The menu is slightly limited. The tomato and burrata is excellent and has good flavors and is fresh! The halibut was the best I have ever had due to the corn sauce that was utilized. The berries and cream was very good. The cheesecake was just eh. Service was just okay and seemed confusing as I think we had 3 servers at one point as I think it was shift change?

For the first course, we started with the delightful bread basket. The selection was so fresh and yummy. I would definitely recommend getting this as a starter for a group dinner. As for the main course, we shared the 14oz Wagyu New York Strip Steak. This was more than enough for two adults, however next time I am really looking forward to the BPG Lobster Bake A huge thank you to Peter, Stephan, and Judy for the wonderful hospitality, you all truly made the experience special.

My husband and I ate here one evening during our honeymoon two weeks ago, May 26. The hostess immediately greeted us with a smile when we walked in and we were promptly seated outside on the patio that was closed in. It was chilly outside, but we were perfectly comfortable inside! We got oysters and the bread sample for apps, which were delicious. We wanted to order more oysters, but knew our entrees would be more than enough. I got the lobster mac from a recommendation I read online, which was a great choice. It was delicious! While not cheap (it's lobster), the portion was quite large, bigger than I expected. There were also huge chunks of lobster in it which absolutely justified the price. If I had to choose one meal to eat for the rest of my life, this would be a contender. Our waiter was exceptionally nice. He offered great suggestions on sparkling wine and food when we asked for recommendations. He was very attentive, but not overly so. The experience was the total opposite from our dinner at CRU two nights before. Brant Point Grille and the staff restored our faith in our dining experiences for the week :) We will be back -- and will be booking a room at the White Elephant for our next trip!

Lobster Mac & Cheese

We were in search of a quick lunch while on Nantucket and we look dup this place. It was very fancy and mostly filled with hotel guests. However, they have a great selection of seafood staples and just really nicely done lunch entrees. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is definitely the standout. We got one and split it as an appetizer. This was a good move as it is very heavy and fairly large portion. If you are looking for a fancy lunch on the island. Definitely check out this place.

There's a place to park, I can walk in, order a fried fish sandwich, look at some lobsters in a tank for ten minutes (the best part) and be out the door with a hot n ready fried fish sandwich in my hands. On my last visit, the woman at the counter was so happy. I was already happy because I was getting a fried fish sandwich. And then I was feeding off of her energy, and I was just having such a great moment in Sayle's Seafood! Now, I could sit in and eat here and bask in their fishy glory since there are tables, but I have yet to do so. I also love the view of the harbor from the front porch and that it's tucked down that little street and the vibe is so island that it contributes to the over-romanticism of Nantucket that happens in my mind but that's okay. The fish sandwich was really good. The time before that, I ordered the clam strips side, which was a lot smaller than I believed it was going to be. They were small individual pieces and fried well-done, while I do prefer a softer crunch. Next time, I will order the clam strip platter which comes with accoutrements. I also had their clam chowder, which I also thought was pretty good. I will be back for more seafood, and I hope that it is soon!
