A typical call between Rick and I goes something like "Blah blah blah car stuff and information I should probably know about" and I say, "okay whatever is best!". That is the type of interaction where I could get scammed to an insane extent but Rick always has my back. I've dropped by car off many times when there was an engine light on or I just did not feel comfortable driving it, and it is typically repaired within the same day (and if not, within 2 days MAX). My boyfriend who worked as a mechanic eventually ran the numbers and said that Rick does really good work and is very honest and prices it reasonably. Through out the years, I've gotten the starter replaced, frequent oil changes, and my inspection. There has NEVER been an issue with Rick or his work.  As someone who could really only tell the difference between an SUV and sedan and poured coolant in my power steering the one time I tried to work on my own car (which shows how inexperienced I am and trust me, I've tried learning. Cars don't work well with my brain), Rick has always provided the absolute best work. This man rolled up to my driveway in a van that looked like it had already lost a fight with a tornado, a raccoon, and possibly its own sense of self-worth. He hopped out, spilled an entire soda, and said, "Don't worry, that happens." Sir. SIR. Why is that your greeting?? He opened my hood, nodded like he was understanding the secrets of the universe, then poked a totally random part and said, "Yep, that's your problem."
