Very friendly and reasonably priced and had financing available. It continued to work on what they could find until it was correct..

Amazing work at reasonable prices! Arty replaced an alternator and even took us early!

Arty's Auto Service - Tires Near Me - Coatesville, Pennsylvania

I was traveling to New Jersey and my check engine light went off. Stopped by this place because it was the nearest mechanic off the turnpike. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and friendly. Did a basic check on my Prius and topped off some fluids and sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me. He recommended that if my check engine light goes off again, I should go to another mechanic because it's probably not a minor thing. My car ended up getting towed 13 miles later, which sucks. Despite that, I am grateful for him taking a few minutes of his time to help someone. Thank you! read more

don't go here!! they rip off customers & overprice Charged $300.00 for an inspection , when they promote $69.99 read more

The place is clean friendly. The prices are reasonable, and Arty the owner is straight shooter as far as what is wrong with car.

Liability problem with this type of repair. He played it straight with me. No improvement needed

Brought the wife's car in with a dead battery. They replaced the battery and alternator and I was charged $800.00. It seemed expensive but I was ok with it as I don't mind paying more for quality work. Got the car home and noticed a burning smell. Silly me didn't immediately investigate thinking it was the new alternator breaking in. A few days later, I popped the hood to check the oil when I noticed the coolant recovery bottle was wedged against the catalytic converter and melted away from the heat. It seems the tech removed the recovery bottle to work on the alternator, wedged it against the catalytic converter, then forgot to clamp it back into its proper position causing it to melt away. Really, $800 for careless work. Now I'm worried about the alternator install, hopefully, the belt is not over tensioned and doesn't cause any further problems. Never going back there again. read more

I moved to the area and was looking for a place to service my cars. I needed a routine oil change and inspection done. Drew was very responsive over email and phone. It was easy to schedule an appointment, and be in and out. read more

Finally.......an honest auto service!!!! I recently had car inspected a dealership and was told that I had cracked air filter case and was quoted over $800.00 for the repair. I saw the ad for Arty's Automotive and decided to take me car there. They ordered the needed part and scheduled my appointment. I entered Arty's and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. My car was taken to be worked on very quickly. Within 15 minutes, Arty came out and said that he could not find anything wrong with the air filter cover...he also contacted the dealership to see if they could provide more information (they could not). When Arty and his team put the cover back on they noticed the small plastic piece that was broken (the piece that the dealership wanted to charge over $800.00 for!! Arty explained that the everything fit back together without any issues....I was not charged for the visit. I also was not charged for the $140.00 part that was ordered. To sum it up....Arty's is a HONEST, professional and friendly auto service. They offer very reasonable pricing. My rating: A+++++++ Miriam Hughes read more

I found Arty's listed on the website for Air Lift products as an installer. I called them for help with an incomplete Air Lift installation one of their competitors unfortunately stuck me with. In less than a day's notice, they put together a solution and finished the installation for me. Arty and his team do nice work, and are inventive enough to figure things out when the solution isn't clear. They were also very fast and reasonably priced. If you need an airlift system or any other auto or truck work done, I highly recommend giving them a shot. read more

I love Art and his team. Art treats me with the same respect as he does the next guy and is honest, respectful and is great at what he does. He has great communication and always contacts you before moving on with anything unforseen. I highly recommend these guys read more

I can not give enough praise to Art and his crew! The quality service you get here you will NOT find anywhere else!!! They stand by their work and are very honest and safety driven!! read more

My daughter's car broke down and had to be towed. I knew of Arty's but had never used their business before. I called, told them the car was being towed in and what we thought the problem was. The staff was very helpful and polite and I received a call back the same day that the car was fixed and ready. To my amazement, it was a very simple problem. They checked the car over and the issue was resolved. They were very fast, friendly and the price was perfect! Art himself even came out to speak with us. I know that we will now be using Arty's for our vehicle maintenance. I truly appreciate all your help and how great your service was! read more

Went here for car inspection and had EXCELLENT service! Friendly people! Shop was well cleansed. Honest and detailed breakdown on any concerns. I will continue to go to this shop as needed. read more

Went here several years back after moving to PATHETIC Pa. Went in for an oil change , alignment and having the wheels balanced. O.K. shop, NOTHING SPECIAL! THE OWNER TRIED UP SELLING ME NECESSARY services. Informed him, I have MORE Car Knowledge that he has YEARS in this World. TYPICAL mechanic. Not happy with a satisfied customer who is a Member of 3 Military Organizations and COULD have gotten him PLENTY of business. TOO BAD for YOU ! I KNOW GET EXCELLENT Customer Service ELSEWHERE! BYE, BYE GREEDY Artie's. read more

The Friday before Christmas my Jeep suffered what turned out to be a pretty catastrophic failure in the clutch assembly. I left my Jeep at Arty's and during the long holiday, Arty and his team of talented mechanics disassembled and diagnosed what became an even bigger problem than first thought. Throughout the whole "ordeal" Arty kept in contact me, updating me and letting me know in detail what needed to be done. I can't thank Arty and his whole crew enough for treating my vehicle like one of their own and returning it to me better than I could have imagined. read more

I feel like I've been trying to find an honest mechanic shop my entire life. I am very happy that I found one, and as an added bonus it is local. Art is very thorough and runs an honest shop. The first time I went there there was a slight issue, but as soon as I addressed it Art was very apologetic and made sure to change internal processes to ensure the mistake wouldn't happen again. It's obvious that Art just wants to run an honest mechanic shop, and I have taken my vehicle back there since because he runs a shop that I can trust. Most of the negative reviews on here are either bogus, or people just being unhappy that there car requires expensive repairs. I can tell you that after being quoted for work between dealerships and Arty's Auto Service, I will always be taking my car back to Arty's Auto for the personal touch. I look forward to recommending Arty's Auto Service to all my friends. Thanks, Trevor read more

Artys is a hack shop... took my explorer there to have a brake line replaced. They charged me to replace the whole line and instead "repaired" the line. When I got my car back it was leaking brake fluid from the "repair". Took it too a real mechanic and had it fixed right. Be aware he deleted his Facebook account to hide bad repairs. read more

Arty and the entire crew at this establishment are completely professional and knowledgeable about their craft. I have been going to them for years and will continue to remain loyal to this amazing shop. Thanks again to Vic for all your service on my Mustangs! read more

Arty's Auto has serviced our cars for 15+ years and always delivers quality work. They have solved various complex problems for us. We rely on them for routine maintenance, major/minor repairs, tires, etc. There's a comfortable waiting room w/amenities as well. Art Telson personally takes pride in all their work. Focused on customer satisfaction and always willing to resolve any issues, Arty's Auto exceeds expectations, AND I have peace of mind knowing the work was done properly. They are thorough and will advise on preventive maintenance BEFORE catastrophic failure occurs! 1998 Buick Riviera work performed: A/C compressor pulley bearing replaced, refrigerant charge; Power steering pump & Water pump replaced; Cooling System & Brake System flushed; Transmission rebuilt; wheel alignment; State Inspection/emissions test. read more

This shop often runs special deals and provides free preventative maintenance tips on their social media. Anytime I've brought my vehicles in for repair I've received quality service that I've come to trust. I enjoy supporting a local business and will stay away from dealerships whenever possible. I took my 97 Grand Marquis there which needed some work to pass inspection. They were honest and professional at all times my car was there. I found my local shop when I need work done on my car. Unlike the Hershey motors in parkesburg. You can count on Arty's to be up front with you. read more

Very nice folks at this location. However, would strongly recommend you obtain written quote before having service performed. Cost for service was 40% ($800) higher than verbally quoted. They did knock $100 off but I was on the fence about having work performed as the car had high mileage and I was thinking about selling/trading in instead of incurring expense. I am not implying I was overcharged or the service performed was not legitimate; just upset I committed to work based on one price and then charged a much higher price. The reason given for why I was not called advising the cost would be much higher was because Art got tied up with his kids. read more

Incredible service and honest place to take my cars. For several years they have serviced four of my cars. They were upfront about costs and have worked with me and my budget. My father was a mechanic for 30 years. After getting service done a couple times my dad checked out my cars. He pointed our repairs they had done to help me. They did not charge me as well. They care more about helping people then taking money from them. Honesty and integrity is hard to find now a days. They have it at this shop. read more

I highly recommend Arty's Auto Service. So courteous, respectful and very fair with pricing. I have take 2 vehicles there and got top notch service!!!! I can not say enough good things about the clean environment, courteous and helpful staff. Not to mention they walked me thru everything!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I WILL be back and I will be sending people back!! read more

Awful service. Don't get your car inspected here. They find things wrong with ur car that have nothing to do with inspection and other places would easily pass. Also they over charge. read more

Check your vehicle after you leave this shop. I took my truck to this shop for inspection. They told me it needed a ball joint and I asked for a front end alignment. After many hours of waiting, and close to $500 .00 later, the truck was supposedly finished and I drove home. I checked the lug nuts and found one finger tight. Other lug nuts were not torqued to the correct foot pounds. So-called mechanics better learn to finish a job. I will not return to this shop. read more

Reliable, honest, service is hard to come by, especially with cars, but that's exactly what you'll find at Arty's. I am so glad that I found out about arts shop and will definitely be headed back. I saved over $500 getting new tires put on at Arty's compared to my manufacturer's price. read more

They made it quick and easy for me to get my car repaired with new tires. The prices were not extreme and the service was fast and super friendly. Just moved to West Caln and was concerned that i wouldn't be able to replace the mechanic i had in Philly. Took my wife's car there for an oil change/safety check. They found a few issues which I had addressed without any pressure from Arty's. Also informed me of an issue that may still be under warranty which Ford will address. I thanked Arty for being thorough for my wife has a highway commute to work. I will be using Arty's as my new Mechanic for my 2 vehicles. read more

Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable attendants. I'm very satisfied. I met Arty, what a great guy to do business with! I'm very happy with the service and the price.
