Took me with no appointment due battery issue. My BMW has a specialized battery that wasn't available from the AAA truck. They recommended Bimmerworks for quick evaluation and service. They took me right away, first confirming the old battery couldn't be saved, then having and quickly installing the new one. Heard Steve the owner working with another customer and he's knowledgeable and cost conscious. You don't see that at the dealer or other auto shops. read more

Been here couple times now with both of my cars. Took my BMW in this past week because i couldn't trust the assessment the tire shop gave me (Had a flat tire from pothole, took my car to a tire shop near my house, had the tire replaced, told the tire shop to check and make sure the wheels are not bend and suspension was not damaged, was told it is all ok except the alignment, when i got the car back the tire was not balanced properly, had to go back 2nd time to get it balanced) Went to Bimmerworks, they gave me a no BS thorough once over (Like the tire shop was supposed to) Found out wheels were bend, but not enough to leak air or cause any real issues. Also added Oil change to the list. Steve has always been upfront and honest, will not try to sell you anything you do not need. Most of the folks in my mini car club goes here as well. Sometimes you go to establishments and you get work done however those doing the work are just doing their job. Understandably but with something as important as your vehicle most would want those in charge of the repair to consider your vehicle as if its their own. Steve and his crew do that per my experience. Not only that, they are honest. For instance my local dealer wanted to charge me $1,900.00 for a part (plus labor) and Steve and team fixed said issue for $90.00 (plus labor.) It was evident the dealer misdiagnosed the problem, but Bimmerworks did not. I also had an issue with Dinan upgrade and Steve and team stayed the course and resolvd the issue where other shops would have failed (given up.) If you want quality honest work done on your vehicle this is your place. There aren't many out there like it. read more

At the recommendation of the Bimmerpost forum I contacted Bimmerworks to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a used 2015 M4. The shop was able to get the car in the same day and later received a detailed report along with photos of areas requiring attention. Spoke with the shop's owner (Steve) the next morning and went over the report at length and other car related details. Also learned about the shop and the business; needless to say I'm impressed. A PPI from Bimmerworks is invaluable. Didn't end up going through with the vehicle purchase which I'm bummed about however Bimmerworks was the highlight of this entire process. Would not hesitate to take a car to Steve and his team for service, repairs, or even another PPI. read more

I had scott and team do a pre-purchase inspection on a new car today. Since I am from out of town I needed to find someone who could really dig into the car to find any potential issues- and scott delivered way above expectations. The report he issued was very thorough, going through more aspects of the car than I had ever heard of! Super thorough. Then, he spent a good amount of time with me on the phone, walking through all the issues, remedies and potential pitfalls. Having dealt with lots of corporate car dealers, etc it was soooo refreshing to have a small business owner truly care about his work and the product he delivered for his customers. Nice guy and seems to know a lot about BMW but was unable to diagnose the issue I was having with my turbo and did not respond to my concerns about the drivetrain malfunction light continuing to come on and what my next steps should be. I ended up taking the car to BMW dealer near my job in Doylestown and they found the problem, told me some of his maintenance recommendations were more than what is normally recommended. And they fixed the turbo. Not cheap, btw. read more

Don't go here. Service is not in their vocabulary. They act like they are doing you a favor by taking your car. I made an appointment and brought my car in first thing in the A.M. Finally 7 hours later I had to call them and talk to the rude receptionist to find out what was going on and they just started to look at the car, which means the repair would not be done that day. I expect more from a car repair shop that will fleece me for $100 +/per hour in labor. I took off a whole day from work to get this car examined. They didn't respect my time and they will not get my business again. read more

Don't let the reviews fool you. These guys are awful in every aspect. They are overpriced, have the customer service of monkeys, and improperly diagnose vehicles. I brought my 530i in with an issue with the accelerator and they said I needed a new block. Run away. Take your car to Brandy wine Motor Works instead. Those guys aren't demonic nerds. Maybe if you serve me breakfast in bed, have my clothes ready while I am taking a shower, get the paper works ready by the time I am done (about 10 minutes shower to getting ready), drive me to work and pick me up later, give me an hourly update on the status, text or tweet of anything happening with the Philadelphia Eagles, make my dinner ... then and only then I might give you a 5-star rating. Other than that, this is about as high you will get for the timely and courteous interaction with Steve and his staff, the impeccable service and the head ache free knowing that Steve and his crew will take care of your car. read more

Steve Snow's Bimmerworks just put new Contis on our '04 Z4 3.0i. With a 4-wheel alignment the black beast feels like the day we drove it out of the showroom. Fantastic. Only place I will take my family's cars. Have had too many bad experiences at other dealers and shops to risk not getting the job done right. I have had situations where I have booked visits 1 month in advance just to make sure the cars are handled by the right hands. This is a lot to say for someone who has to commute 130 miles just to come in for service. Literally, there is no job that I would not trust Steve and his team with. They are always incredibly honest and more than fair with pricing. Can not say enough good things about this shop. read more

I drove almost 2 hours to entrust Steve with doing a full Dinan performance tune on my 2013 M5 and boy did they deliver. In addition to doing solid work on the car, I appreciated that we was willing to take the time to talk to me about my options and to help plan the work. It felt less like dealing with a business and more like talking to someone who just loves BMWs. Not withstanding, the work on my car has been 5-star with great attention to detail and follow-ups if I had any issues. The only minor issue is that this is a very small shop run by a couple dedicated guys so they may be a little bit harder to reach or a little slower to get back to you, if that's important. But if you're looking for good work done by a guy who knows his craft and takes care of the customer, this is it. (Minor edit for grammar) read more

I've been going to Bimmerworks since 2007. Steve and his team do great work and really know BMWs. What I like about Steve is that I don't think he tries to sell me stuff I don't need (for example, the dealer told me I was a good candidate for some sort of fuel system flush...I called Steve and he said I didn't need it with my low mileage. He easily could have gone along with it and taken my money, but he didn't). Bottom line - I trust him. I 100% recommend anyone with a BMW to go to Bimmerworks for routine maintenence as well as larger repairs (unless you just enjoy paying more at a dealer). read more

I started taking my BMW's to Bimmerworks about 5 years ago on the strong recommendation of my son, who has an E46 M3 and knows a lot about cars. I have a 2006 X5. I had received an estimate from a dealer who said I needed $3,000 worth of work, one item of which was $1,500. Steve Snow, the owner, said I didn't need the $1,500 repair at all, and he did the other $1,500 worth of work for about a grand. I've never needed the dealer recommended $1,500 worth of work, and I still have the car. His work is better and cheaper than dealers and other repair shops, and I've never had a problem with anything they have done. The closest dealer is a mile from my house, and Bimmerworks is about 12 miles, which should tell you a lot about how good they are. The work sometimes takes longer than expected, but I can deal with that when I'm getting quality work at fair prices and I'm not being told I need work I don't need. Also, it's a small shop, so delays are understandable. Bimmerworks is a great place. In a world where it's hard to find a good mechanic, you've go to be nuts not to take your BMW of MINI to them. read more
