Our waitress did a great job getting us waters, menus, and our first drink order. She also let us know what the weekend specials were. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was very good. It came with a bunch of pieces of grilled sourdough bread, which complemented the dip nicely. Our drinks were good, though I felt the Golden Hour Paloma was a little underwhelming. For entrées, we ordered the Grilled Salmon, the Orville Salad (with shrimp), the Filet Mignon, and I had the special, "Inferno" -- a grilled tenderloin filet on top of a deep-fried portabella mushroom, served on spinach with a touch of sriracha. While waiting, the server came over to update and apologize for the delay. I only mention this because I really didn't think the wait was unusually long (but I appreciated their attentiveness). After a few more minutes, our food arrived, and it was excellent -- served at good temperatures, with terrific flavors and generous portions. The special (filet on mushroom and spinach) was excellent. The filet was ordered medium rare but came out closer to medium; still, it was very good. The fried mushroom was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauces were an excellent complement and tied everything together. I would definitely order that again. The noise level was good overall, though there were moments -- when seating new tables or during the ordering process -- when it got VERY loud. I wouldn't have wanted that to last the whole time. You can barely take the last bite before they are asking if you are done and can they clear? Definitely makes it difficult to "enjoy" the great food and atmosphere. The ambiance is nice, but I believe. you need to ask to access it from the street level if you have mobility issues, as their stairs to the front door and again down to the patio. There is a patio gate so I assume this could be done. But the restrooms are not accessible to a wheelchair. Even the presentation of the drinks and food is done well. It is worth a stop anytime you are in town.

They have a long beer list, definitely making it hard to choose just one, however I opted for a spicy bloody, which was delicious. There is a small dining area but we opted for the bar because it's too hard for people facing south in a booth with the television on the north wall. We ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer, a cheeseburger from the menu and a teriyaki salmon sandwich that was a special. Kelly brought us two bar tables that fit perfectly over the rail and provide a flat surface for our dishes. The order of deep fried mushrooms came very quickly and very hot. The basket contained more mushrooms than I'm used to seeing in an appetizer basket, yay! The teriyaki sauce was wonderful and soaked into a soft bun. The salmon seemed a bit dry but was very flavorful. The burger was huge, the fried onions was a slice of red onion that had been grilled, I never saw that before. The burger was reported to be very good. We left at the half, we were the only ones left in the place, so we departed for another venue so Kelly and the cook could go home. I would like to go back some Friday to try the fish.

However, I suspect that the menu prices are inflated to offset the BOGO savings, so it doesn't end up being much of an actual benefit. I received eight butterflied shrimp. They were not jumbo. My friend ordered Shrimp and Fish. She paid 17.99. She received twelve Shrimp and a nice piece of beer battered cod. Her meal was well worth the price. Next time I will order that instead. I know prices have increased and I understand that. I just want to be able to justify the cost with the quality etc. The German potato salad was very good as was the coleslaw. The clam chowder was tasty but my bowl didn't have many if any clam pieces. It was more liquid and potato. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed the outside patio area instead of eating inside. I will be back as I do enjoy and like this local restaurant.
