I read your reviews here - thanks Yelpers! and on Style Seat, her preferred booking method. All of her reviews were stellar and I thought she sounded like she was worth taking a chance on for my cut. Did I add I decided to get it cut one day before traveling to attend a wedding. Like Steven Tyler said, I was livin' on the edge!! She started out really slow, which concerned me a little, but now I think she's just really meticulous. She ran her fingers through my hair, asked me what I was looking for, and let me know whether or not the styles I had in mind would work with my hair type. She lead me to do a new search that found a very workable cut for my hair type and she got to work. An update on this review. I was not chatting or eager for conversation. I asked one question and maybe spoke a sentence or two to my daughter. I think your response speaks to exactly what I was saying in my first review, that from the get go I was not welcomed and was treated as an inconvenience. You may have missed the point that I booked the appointment with you for my daughter, so to say that she is the only person that should be treated as a customer is short sighted, and why would you want to treat me or the parent of your client that way? What a terrible response to the my review. My daughter even said you were rude to me. At least everyone reading this review knows that there is a vow of silence in your space and 1 family member that brought their to child to you for service is not welcome. read more

Brandy is awesome. She doesn't just listen to what you want and then do something completely different (which has happened to me a lot at other places). She's honest about what is realistic for you to achieve with your hair type and on more than one occasion I've said "I just want something different, just do whatever!" and liked what she's done. I also followed her instructions for how to keep my hair healthy. It's been 4 months since my last trim, I've had color done twice in that time, and she still said I could wait a little longer before a cut. I've been meaning to do this for a while. I moved here about a year ago and one of my concerns was that I had been with my former stylist for over 15 years and probably would have stayed with him another 15 if we hadn't moved. When we first got here, I was referred to a stylist that within two weeks, I wanted another haircut. Funny thing is that I was not happy with the color my old stylist used to cover my gray, but would have stuck with it just because I'd been with him so long and I liked his haircuts. Brandy does great work. She fixed a very bad haircut! And it was a very bad, very short haircut! True magic watching her work on my hair and transform it to what is was meant to be. She takes the time to ask the right questions and really consults with her client. We looked at pictures together and talked about what would work or not with my hair texture, face, etc. Brandy is accurate and precise when she cuts hair. I have a much more youthful and stylish cut now, and it is also age appropriate and easy to care for. She takes feedback well during the haircut and is a kind person to chat with. I will definitely come back. What a relief to turn that bad haircut around! Another positive is she got me in the day I called. That is very hard to do sometimes. I appreciated that. The only thing I'd do different is to bring my own styling products because I'm sensitive to chemicals and I forgot to say no to the mousse. She immediately offered to wash it out. I am not very trusting when it comes to who I let cut my hair but she had very positive reviews so I gave her a try. I'm very glad I did. She was patient with me and my fear of change. We went through photos of what I like and don't like, what would look good and what wouldn't. This review is long overdue. I found Brandy about half a year ago, maybe a bit more. Almost two years ago my long beautiful hair was fried off by my long time stylist. Needless to say I needed to find someone new to help fix me after that happened. My hair was extremely damaged, and I had lost a fair amount of it in length. Very sad horrible time. I went thru several more stylists who all tried to fix me, but no one was the perfect fit for me. Finally, I found Brandy. She has helped my hair so much, I can't believe how far I have come. I am almost to hair goals, and it was a long road but I have her to thank. She is patient, really listens to what you want, and gets you to your goal. I can give her the worst description and she knows what I want. She does tend to lean on the cautious side which I like too. But maybe that is just with me because I can be impulsive and growing hair out can be a challenge, so she talks me off of the ledge, for reals. She also helps with the transition and keeps things looking good. So if you need to fix your hair, she will get you there. If you already have good hair, but looking for a change, or just looking for someone who gets you better and whoever you are seeing just is not seeing what you envision, SHE WILL GET YOU THERE!!! Over the years, we have done an a-line strawberry bob, golden shoulder length perfectly layered hair, ombré brunette to caramel long, and recently gradually back into a long blonde with stunning highlights. All while taking care not to damage my fragile and treasured curly hair. I wanted to go from brunette to blonde immediately, but she talked me off that ledge and we gradually lightened it. She keeps my hair looking its best by trimming ends when needed and putting in treatments when needed. Sometimes we get crazy and will blow out my hair. Brandy cut my hair for the first time last week. Loved my cut and it looks awesome. I have long, thick, wavy hair and it seems like many stylist have difficultly getting the long layers correct. I really wanted to switch up my color. I have used a home color for several years, but really wanted to try highlights to blend grays instead of covering them.
