The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

"This place is one of them" PLEASE save yourself the run for the boarder and stay far away from this restaurant!! Seriously they are way,WAY overpriced and give you French fries that are cold and taste like cardboard, the taco meat is without a doubt scooped out of a can that tastes like it was opened a month ago and looks like... well you can use your own imagination, the food has so much salt that it taste like a salt lick! The food is straight up garbage and whom ever owns and operates the place knows it! and oughta be ashamed of themselves for serving people this crap!!With the amount of money we have to pay for it!! Shame on you!! People do yourselves a huge favor, bring your own snacks or wait to eat after you leave, don't subject yourself to this crap!! They are taking advantage of people because they are the only restaurant at the park!! SHAME ON CANYONLANDS!! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU!!

I had a smoky old fashioned to start my night and I kept going back to how great it smelled and how smooth the taste was. I chose to have it with their own house bourbon. Food wise, we went with their Canyon Tacos and shared an order of tots. The frybread was crispy and pillowy, the meat was very well seasoned and the pickled red onion really brought the whole dish together. The tots were nice and crispy without being too oily. The place itself was like walking into Williams itself. Lot of wood and mountain core decor with a small creek/wishing fountain. The front part of the place is where you'll find their gift shop. There is also some games upstairs. And they sell their beers and spirits. This is a great place to spend a few hours.

Every single time I come in here, the food has another dollar added to the price, or.. heaven forbid you want French fries with your cheeseburger. You can absolutely forget about it, it's al a carte my boy. That is French for- that'll be an extra 6$. Also, their "avacado" for an additional 3$ is nothing more than a prison spoon scoop full of mashed up avocado spread on to one bun about as thick a Peasley Pubic hair. Lastly, you'd think for how much they charge, you would be able to eat your food without expiring in sweat or needing goggles for my brow being absolutely drenched trying to eat my 26$ cheeseburger al a carte. Thanks guys, I also had to hit the bathroom directly on the way out. BTW - you need a plumber to come out the toilets barely flush! And I will finish with this. That is not a sour beer, that's an ipa with vinegar in it. You cured the hops 3 weeks too long.

We love Italian food, so we decided to stop in here. The place was clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a quick service type set up You order at the counter, and then they bring your food to you. We asked what the turnaround time was, and the gentleman said about a half an hour. As I mentioned, the entire town was busy, so we decided to stay for lunch. Everything on the menu sounded good, but We decided to split the hog pizza, With. Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, italian sausage and salami. They use a woodfired oven, which makes for a much higher quality pie.... Our food came at almost exactly a half an hour. It was a very decent sized pizza. The crust was perfect, and it was also a good quality, tomato sauce, with just a little bit of a "tang" to it. They were generous with the cheese and the meats, and you could tell that they were using a very good quality meat. It was an excellent pizza. They had a couple of "Arizona gunslinger" hot sauces is on the table. I didn't care for the red sauce, but I loved the green sauce. It's a jalapeño based sauce, but the jalapeño didn't take over the rest of the sauce. It had a complex slightly sweet flavor, and not too much of a "kick". It said "smokin ' hot" on the bottle, but it wasn't all heat. The complex flavor played very well with the heat I liked it so much, I asked if they sold it in their gift shop, and they said no, but there was a shop a couple of doors down that carries it. I wish I would remember the name of the shop. It was your standard gift shop, but they had a huge selection of hot sauces available I got my bottle, and I'm glad I brought it home. I love this stuff. I hear that you can also buy it in grocery stores around Arizona. The price for the pizza was extremely reasonable, for all we got, and as I mentioned, this place has a gift shop, as well as a full bar. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Thanks.

The server was nice and asked if we needed anything else as he also brought out the pizza a few minutes later. The salad was good and we made sure to finish it all. It was cold, crisp, and had the right amount of toppings and dressing. The pizza was served hot and had the perfect amount of toppings. The food was all enough to spilt between us three.

I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.

In my opinion, it's the best steakhouse in town and easily one of the best restaurants in Williams. We've eaten here several times, and it never disappoints. My son swears they make the best hamburger around, and I can't resist their sweet glazed jalapeños--they're the perfect balance of sweet with just the right kick. The lamb chops are absolutely outstanding, and the filet was cooked to a flawless medium-rare, exactly as ordered. One thing we always look forward to is their Christmas tree that's decorated year-round. It's such a fun, unique touch that makes the restaurant feel extra welcoming. Whether you're staying at the Best Western or one of the many nearby hotels, it's incredibly convenient and well worth a visit. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and consistently delicious meals make this a must-stop every time we're in Williams. We'll definitely keep coming back!
