tried to order a custom hat order of 20 plus hats at around $400-600 order for my Podcast crew and guest. The process of dealing with this company was like getting a tooth pulled. Started the order process, uploaded logo then you have to wait a week for a sales rep to email you with a phone number, but they don't answer & no VOICE MAIL. So, if you need an order quick, find another company. Then a sales mgr., (right) leaves VM with a lie about emails & time frames. GFY - This is one Grade School operation. I think I have been scammed. This process is a nightmare. Ordered 3 plane hats not custom. Its now 15 days of waiting.The problem they say, First it was Fathers day and July 4th now its Soccer and USPS. USPS is having no issues. So basically now they can replace or refund. After reading the negative reviews, I was hoping my experience would be different, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case so far. I placed an order for a hat on 02/22/26 (Order #1514560). I was told processing would take 2-3 days, but it's now well beyond that timeframe. There has been no movement on my order, and I still haven't received any shipping or tracking information. I've sent multiple emails and have been communicating back and forth with the Branded Bills AI agent. Most recently, I was told my concern would be escalated to another team. I'm hoping that leads to a resolution soon. At this point, I simply want the hat I purchased--it looks great on the website. I love these hats. I have quite a few but the shipping time is quite ridiculous. I ordered a hat and it took two weeks to come in from the day I ordered. I ship items all the time with USPS and it takes at most 3-5 days. I know they "make these to order" but 2 weeks to get something this day and age is ridiculous. They need to step this up. If you're going to order one just know that it's not going to be delivered in a reasonable time but it will be a good hat at least. read more

Old Glory Curved Performance Black / Classic I have a HALF DOZEN of this hat in various colors /front design I order same style, different color to match the Gray, Blue and Red ones I have (all American Flags). Hat comes and has a different dome style/look to it. So I call up thinking I made an error and picked the wrong the style. The young lady I spoke to checked it against prior orders and said I did not make a mistake and it's the same style but they changed vendors so it may not be exactly the same now. I said I don't care for the change and would like a refund. She tells me to go on line and do it myself (politely). Well I did. I get a notice my refund less $11.47 than my original total (I assume for shipping) and it will take up to ten days to appear on my card. Talk about a dumb ass way to run a Company. We began discussions with this company on January 16th regarding a custom hat order, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward order turned into weeks of delays, repeated follow-ups, and designs not reflecting what was originally requested. From the beginning, I asked about minimum quantities and the breakdown for colors and patches. Only much later in the process -- after significant time had already been spent going back and forth -- was I told there was a 24-piece minimum requirement. That information should have been clearly communicated upfront. Transparency on pricing and minimums is fundamental in custom orders. Additionally, alternative solutions were introduced late in the process, but due to the extended delays on their end, those options were no longer realistic. Throughout communication, staffing shortages and being "lean" or "behind" were cited, but internal operational challenges should not become the customer's burden -- especially for a returning customer who has done business with them before. In the end, this experience felt disorganized, reactive, and inefficient. Clear expectations, consistent communication, and honoring initial conversations are critical in custom production work. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. Without meaningful improvements in process and transparency, it's difficult to see how customers would feel confident continuing to do business here. My first experience with Branded Bills was excellent--communication was stellar, and everything from start to finish was smooth. I placed an order for a couple thousand dollars' worth of hats, and I was extremely satisfied with the quality and service. Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. I placed a much larger order (around $8,000), and communication from beginning to end dragged on for nearly six months. There was a major lack of clarity regarding the difference between regular poly patches and printed poly patches. As a result, part of my order came with one type and the rest with another, which was not what I expected. The hats from the second order also didn't fit the same as the first batch, and the poly patches absorbed the hat color, distorting the look of the patch and making them appear terrible. When I raised these concerns with my BB rep, they agreed to fix the order--but told me it would take another six weeks. I had a work event coming up and couldn't wait that long. While I had high hopes after my first order, the inconsistency and lack of clear communication with the second order were incredibly frustrating. Sadly, I can't recommend Branded Bills after this experience. read more

Turn around was a bit long and they're probably pricier than going through a product vendor rep, but the quality and style are great and well liked by our staff. For the custom order, we had about 5-6 week lead time for an order of 24 hats. This store is a joke. I ordered 2 hats and they have stated it's been delivered. Upon checking emails and tracking it does say delivered. Well I have nothing. Their response was to go ask neighbors and go to my local post office. Is this seriously the way a business is supposed to handled this? In their email they stated, sometimes they will hit delivered when it actually isn't delivered and will arrive a few days later. Well it's been 5 days and still nothing. I have bought 3 hats. At first I loved these hats but as always before leaving a review, I give it time to test durability. After a few months, the snapback tabs break right off when you try to unsnap to adjust. This has happened on ALL of my hats so it was not just a defect in one. I have a massive head so I'm not sure if it's just with the oversized ones. I will be buying replacement snaps from another company to repair these because ultimately, they do fit quite nice. I wish they could just have better quality plastic. read more
