The worst experience in customer service I've ever had:
It was my little brother's birthday party. My mother, my sister and I were going to meet my dad and my brother there, but my dad ended up going to the wrong bowling alley.
So once we got there, 5 minutes later than my dad would've, lots of the kids had already came. As soon as my mom went to check in, the "manager" (apparently the OWNER) yelled at her for being late, saying that now he was "responsible for all the kids" and had to get them their shoes. He embarrassed her in front of all the other parents to the point where she couldn't even speak to him afterwards. He went up to my dad and asked if my mom was angry at him, and as soon as my dad said yes, he started getting defensive and saying he did nothing wrong. Along with being an absolute prick while handing out shoes and giving out change, he even yelled at his wife in front of all the children and parents that came to the birthday party, and other people who were bowling there. My mom didn't even know she was his wife until she spoke to her. My mom said, "don't worry about him, you're doing a great job" and she said "oh, that's just how my husband is". When everyone left, he just ignored all of us. No thank you, no goodbye, just a blank, cold stare. Once we got home, my mom called in and the same guy answered. She confronted him about how rude he was, and he said "I didn't know if you wanted more time since you were late, sorry. Next time I'll put you on the throne." Instead of an apology, my mom got sarcasm, attitude and complete disrespect. Not something you want on your son's birthday. Absolutely horrible experience. read more
