I brought it back again, and they kept my vehicle for several days and drove it multiple times, only to tell me they "couldn't find anything wrong." Meanwhile, the original issue was still happening. At that point, I completely lost trust in this shop. Not only were they extremely expensive, but despite spending over $4,000 there, my vehicle issues only continued getting worse. The first time the vehicle stopped starting, I ended up replacing the starter myself. It started again afterward, but only lasted about a week before it stopped starting once more. That's when I finally decided to take it to the Jeep dealership for another inspection. I was then informed that the engine is now seized and I'm being quoted around $11,000 for a new engine. I'm extremely disappointed with the repeated misdiagnosis and lack of urgency regarding serious symptoms like engine shaking and exhaust smoke. I reached out to a friend who is car-savvy for advice on where to take it, and he pointed me here. The scheduler was super friendly and efficient and got me on the books a few days after my call. The vibe was completely different than the dealership, as I felt like the folks at Max Automotive genuinely cared about getting me taken care of and figuring what the issue was with the vehicle. They also understood that at over 20 years old and nearly 200,000 miles, I wasn't going to perform any heroics for this car. We came up with a good plan to keep the car running for as long as possible with as minimal maintenance as possible. I look forward to working with the team here for maintenance of my new old car.

After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. I also recently brought a different vehicle here for brake fluid exchange and was told the motor mounts need to be replaced. We had no issues with them prior to bringing it to Greulichs. After receiving the inspection report, video of them revving the engine in neutral, and a quote for $3700 to do the repair, a motor mount is now leaking. Find a different place to go. Called the customer service number as they mentioned. I was told I'd get a call back from a district manager within 24-48 hours. Here's a surprise, I wasn't contacted. Originally I was quoted for one issue, but after taking a deeper look they found out the problem was actually bigger and that the compressor needed to be replaced. Even though it turned out to be a larger repair than expected, the team did a great job explaining everything clearly and keeping me informed. When I came back to pick up my car, Mark happened to be out of the office, but David stepped in and took great care of me. Both of them were exceptional and made sure the whole process went smoothly. The communication throughout the entire experience was excellent, and the mechanics clearly knew what they were doing. My AC is now blowing colder than it ever has before and the car feels great. You have to repurchase the tires online, have them shipped to the store and they reimburse based on tire tread. You also have to pay to have the tire mounted and balanced. This is the worst road hazard warranty in the industry. Not to mention they have no availability for a week to install the new tire. This might be acceptable with a new tire purchase but not a road hazard. They expect you to drive on a spare for a week. Do yourself a favor and stick with Discount, BIG O, etc...... the couple hundred you save on the tires is not worth the headache
