I was told by my dealer that I needed to replace my bearings, thought I'd call Brake Masters to save me the trip, but before even going into it, they told me he'd inspect it before replacing them. I appreciated the honesty to look into the problem firsthand rather than just replacing them because I was told to. We always use a trusted shop for everything tires and they were not helpful yesterday Nothing to be done about a axle of breaks and rotors they replaced 3 weeks ago until Saturday and the breaks were dragging badly and the rear set was grinding loudly. I called American tire and they dont do breaks but recommended Break Masters. Carlos is the best. Took my car right in and did an evaluation. It was bad. Replaced what was needed, flushed the system, forwarded to discount he got on the rotors and fixed an issue unforeseen. He was pleasant and professional and got the job done. I made an appointment 3 days ahead for an oil change. I was scheduled at 2pm came to the shop at 1:30 because I had read reviews that's sometimes you get serviced past your appointment time. At 4:50 PM. My car had still not been serviced not even moved from the parking spot. I wasted 4 hours of my day. Absolute worse service I have ever received. Visited Brake Master's on 6/16 after having my oil change done at my local Mazda dealer on 6/15. I had mentioned to the tech at Mazda that there was an infrequent, but annoying squeak in the rear brakes and asked them to check it out. Of course, they came back saying the rotors are hot spotted, and I need to either have the rotors turned or replaced. This was going to cost anywhere from $200-500, depending on which option I chose. The car only has a little over 50k miles, so this seemed like rather premature wear. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion after finding Brake Master's of Tracy on Yelp. The reviews are right, these guys are timely and honest. Turns out, I don't need new rotors or even brake pads, at all. They showed me what to look out for visually, as well as tell tale signs that will show up, if and when my brakes do need replacing. Thank you to Henry and Jimmy for being honest, I will now be coming to them for my oil changes and any future work that may need to be done. Horrible customer service. My husband came in and was quoted a price for the brake pads but he couldn't have them done that day as they said it would be 2-3 hrs. I came back a few days later to get the brakes done, and Henry quotes me a higher price. And I reluctantly agreed but he said I needed to come back in a couple days because they didn't have time. 1st time: If I could give no stars I would.. Didn't get any service done because I was turned away twice, with 2 different vehicles. In September of 2019 I took my car here to get a diagnostic due to the check engine light coming on. Before even looking at it Henry at the front desk told me that they do not work on Kia's. After doing research I've seen that they have worked on many Kia's. I also see them being worked on as I pass by daily. 2nd time: Yesterday I called and spoke with Henry and asked if it was ok to bring my truck in for a diagnostic. He implied, "Sure bring it in morning when we open" 730am I arrive with my truck and my bike in the back to ride home afterwards and before I could even finish telling him my symptoms Henry rudely cuts me off and says" "We don't do emission checks" Henry wouldn't even give me the chance to ask if he could check the obvious oil leak I have. Being that this was car #2 with bad customer service I felt it was a Racist move. Little did Henry know my wife took the same truck there in December and it was diagnosed. read more

Every time I get my car serviced here I get above and beyond with their service. My check engine light came on so they diagnosed it and recommenfed the dealer. I went to Brake Masters after my dealership quoted me $390.00 for rear brake pads and labor after I spent 490.00 for 60k service for my sedan .I looked on yelp and liked the reviews so I decided to try Brake Masters. I went in late in the afternoon on a Friday holiday weekend and Henry was great and friendly he was up front and said he would try his best to get the brakes done but if not it would be the next day Saturday which was ok with me. I had my rotors and brakes replaced on both axles at the Oxnard location on Saviors Rd. While on a road trip a few weeks later I heard loud grinding whenever I applied pressure to my brake pedal. Since I was on the road with my wife and father in-law I had my wife google the nearest location to where we were, and unfortunately it was over 100 miles away. Anyway, we called the location and spoke with Henry and he advised me to come to his location. The somewhat elderly man at the main desk, I'm unsure of his name, really makes the place worth coming back to. He gives great customer service, has a good personality, and is always in a positive mood. I've only been here to get my CV boot on my wheel fixed. The first time I broke it, but we had to go back twice within a year because it keeps ripping. I'm unsure if this happens due to my driving, (which is totally normal, haha) or because of their performance of putting it on? Whatever the case, they have a lifetime gaurantee on it, I just pay labor fees. I have taken my car here THREE times now for the same problem - after spending two hundred and something dollars to get the pulsating fixed, it did not happen, I take it to them again (second time), and they tell me OH, i thought I told you that you might need your other routers replaced soon - NO YOU DID NOT. Why wouldn't I get it fixed when I brought it there the first time? They check the brakes and say everything is fine, Routers still should be looked at, but the REAL problem is the Rims -I had two of my Friends (at different times) ride with with me that work on Cars, they tell me it is definitely the Routers. So my wife takes it to these PROFESSIONALs again today (3rd Time) - tells them what we need, and then they it will be a while. The wife has to pick up our kids from school, and they tell her it should not be a problem - 2 hours later, they tell her they are almost done the inspection -- REALLY, and inspection???? DO YOU NOT KEEP NOTES IN THE SYSTEM -? I call myself and talk to a "ROB, or BOB" he tells me that he should have looked in the system, but did not, he talks to a Manger to see if they can make some sort of a Concession to keep us a customer. ------$35--- Really. So three trips down there, and you are going to discount me $35... I guess YOU HAVE LOST 2 customers - My wife and Me. TO BE CONTINUED --- So Jimmy Called me back. He assured me that me that he would take care of this. I have not received my car back as of yet, but All of the other notes associated with Jimmy are Extremely Positive.
