The food is amazing, best octopus I have ever eaten! The meal is well made and prepared perfectly. The portions are big and filling. I split the octopus with my wife. The cod appetizer is well made and cooked beautifully. Everything looks made from scratch. I had the recommended dessert and it was amazing. The custard in the flaky crust was so good. My wife and I wanted to eat more, but were too full. The indoor area is nice, cool and quiet. We opted for the outside and ate at a small table on a lovely, covered porch with a bit of normal neighborhood noise. The staff is polite and professional, if you go with their recommendations you will not be disappointed. She even suggested to split a meal which means less money for the restaurant but a more enjoyable experience. Dining isn't all about the cost, but this place is reasonably priced with phenomenal taste. The ambiance was great and you can't go wrong with Braga, which is a small family restaurant putting out amazing dishes.

We had a great meal at Braga Portuguese Restaurant. The service was great. We loved: garlic octopus (the best dish, very generous), pataniscas de bacalhau (cod fritters), bacalao a la nata (baked cod w/ cream sauce), and the mussels. Every other table got the sausage, which we would order the next time we come by. This is a local favorite and it's clear why.

Visited with a few relatives on the Portuguese side of the family and we really enjoyed our meal here. We had a few Bacalhau dishes, NY strip for my husband, and appetizers, including bolinhos de bacalhau and chourico assado. Everything was great and service was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the steak as well. Will definitely be back to try the caldo verde and sardinhas.

Excellent service and hospitality! Super welcoming and delicious food. Was in Portugal about 3 years ago and still thinking about those tender and awesome octopus that we had there. Stumbled upon this Portuguese restaurant and it certainly satisfied our octopus cravings. The octopus was really well made and brings us right back to Portugal. We also ordered the grilled sardines and the sample platter which were both excellent. Ambiance is great with good amount of indoor and outdoor seatings. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some really good and authentic Portuguese food!

Storming this past weekend and found Braga while escaping the storm. Walked in without knowing the menu and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the octopus and clams. Both meals really hit the spot. I was very impressed with how well they were both cooked, along with the excellent sauce for each.

Amazed by this find! What a gem, this restaurant is as good as it gets, delicious food, great service, by far one of the best Portuguese restaurants in South Florida. From beginning to end every dish dish did not disappoint, authentic Portuguese, savory, comforting, delicioso. Portions are enough to share, dessert was fantastic. We will be returning again very soon.

This place is amazing!!!! Amazing service, amazing food, beautiful location. My husbands parents brought us here to celebrate my 30th birthday and omg I'm so happy they did. The owner is sooooo nice - he is there every night and talks to everyone. The service is amazing. Always attentive. Very fast. So friendly. Honestly one of the places with best service I've ever gotten. They gave us complimentary port at the end of our meal as dessert. So nice and thoughtful l. Food - omg this place was just amazing. We got the vacalao croquetas for an appetizer. They were delicious!!! Then ordered the grilled octopus as the main dish and hands down this was the best grilled octopus I have ever had in my life. The portions were huge! I took back home food, which was enough for another meal after. Love this place. So happy I found it. Will be coming back!!!!

The ambiance in the outside terrace is super cute with its decorative greenery, it lends a secret garden type of escape. The only you may have to contend with is the road noise but nothing to do about that. I'm terms of food, it was absolutely excellent. All of it. Well cooked, well seasoned, then came the desserts.....amazing! I hadn't tasted such a great homemade dessert in such a long time. This restaurant has better Portuguese food then Old Lisbon around the corner for sure. It may be small but your belly and taste buds will be full and happy .

This place has really good food and it is served at the right temperature. It is a small place however it has a very nice outside area. The owner was there and took the time to tell us his story of how he migrated to America and with a culinary love he dicided to open his rastaurant.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have a tree in the middle that gives it an outdoor open feel. And an incredible wine display in the back. Our waitress, from Portugal, did a great job of explaining the menu to us and guiding us on what to order. We started off with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau which are cod fritters and OMG they were sooo good! These tasted identical to the ones we've eaten in Lisbon. It comes with the classic pairing of black eyed peas which are awesome when eaten together. We also tried the Chouriço Assado which the presentation when its brought to the table is a treat itself. It comes out on a flaming pig and then its sliced tableside. Our waitress recommended trying the chorizo with the piri piri sauce which is slightly spicy and it was delicious. It added another layer of flavor. For entree we got the Paelha Marinheira which was absolutely amazing. First off, its a huge portion and comes piping hot. Each bite was full of seafood. We added the lobster which was perfection. It's great to share between 2 people. For dessert we ended with the pasteis de nata and its great because it brings 2 pastries and we paired it with ice cream. It makes for the perfect sweet treat without being too much. The pasteis de nata is served slightly warm and is perfect with the cool ice cream. Overall great restaurant for some Portuguese cuisine.

I had the seafood stew, which was hearty and full of mussels, fish, clams, white beans, and other seafood. Side rice was just ok. My mom enjoyed her salmon and vegetables, which included eggplant. For dessert, I had to get the famous dessert of Portugal, pastel de nata, which is a mini egg custard tart. It tasted wonderful, but was different from the traditional pastel de nata because it had cinnamon and powdered sugar on top, and personally I like the traditional plain version better. My port (sweet wine) was a delicious accompaniment. Service was very attentive. Interior is small and cozy. Plenty of parking.

Every single dish was delicious, and Monica, our wonderful server, made our night truly special - her attention to detail and kindness elevated our visit to a whole other level - she should teach hospitality classes to others in the business. We had a beautiful pre-mothers day evening - one that we'll never forget. Thank you, Sebastian, Ivette & Nina

I would agree. The assortment was lovely and delish. We had ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that they ended up being out of but the plan B recommendation was outstanding. We ordered the wahoo crudo, which was as pretty as it was delicious. I ordered the duck rice, which was very good. Duck can be hit or miss but this did not miss. My boyfriend had gotten excited for the chicken dish that was on the menu - unfortunately they were out of it so he ended up getting the lobster dish. I tried it and thought it tasted great but the lobster was on the small side. For dessert we ordered the chocolate bomba...nice blend of flavors with the hazelnut and cherry sorbet! Though they were out of certain things, the service and overall experience was fab.
