Today was my last appointment with Dr.Brady and his team. I have finished my Invisalign and was coming in for my retainer check up. It's been a journey (1.5 -2 years?) but I'm very happy with the result and it felt bittersweet that I won't get to see them as much as I did. I really appreciated Dr. Brady and his staff. From front desk Arlene, to Dr. Brady's assistants, and Anna they've all been professional, pleasant, and friendly. When I had minor issues with my top teeth the chipped part of my front tooth, Dr. Brady did not hesitate to correct it for me. Appointments were always a breeze and prompt as I never had to wait long to see Dr. Brady. Thank you Dr. Brady for helping me achieve straight teeth! I would highly highly recommend. Got a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth. Brought up the issue to Dr. Brady that it felt loose. He ignored the issue and wouldn't you know it? My permanent retainer fell out not even 6 months after installation. The people there are lovely but Dr Brady is a downgrade from Dr Ford. read more

Dr Ford and his team are wonderful. You never feel uncomfortable there. They are kind and low key and yet very professional. Dr Ford is a very good listener and is not content until the patient is 100% pleased with the results. My husband and I both had Invisalign there and we are both very pleased with both the process and our new smiles. My husband's case was particularly difficult as he had one implant done in the middle of the treatment and also needed a bridge replaced. Dr Ford was able to make a retainer that worked with the new bridge at a very reasonable cost. He worked with my dentist to ensure the treatment plan would go smoothly. We don't give 5 star reviews often but this is one of those that definitely merits 5 stars. We would definitely recommend Ford Orthodontics to anyone requiring orthodontic treatment. read more

I can easily recommend Dr. Brady to be your orthodontist. He is low key and puts kids and adults at ease. The office as a whole is very accommodating and runs a tight ship with staying on schedule. My kids have always felt comfortable and Dr. Brady takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my teeth. My Invisalign retainer had broken from wear and tear and a couple weeks after, my 14 year old bottom permanent retainer had also broken while I was flossing. I went to see Dr. Brady for new retainers. He removed my bottom retainer and put in a brand new bar cemented perfectly on my lower canines (no messy cement at all). He also had top and bottom tray retainers made that fit over my bottom permanent retainer. I had mentioned I have TMJ and it has definitely helped having the two retainers instead of just the one on top. The tray retainers also fit perfectly and feel amazing. I am so happy I went to see Dr. Brady, he is truly the best. If you are thinking about seeing him for any orthodontic services, you absolutely should!! read more

I came to Dr. Ford a little over 10 years ago with a terrible overbite and a bad habit of sucking my thumb. However, at Ford Orthodontists, nothing is too challenging for them. I was unhappy with my previous Orthodontist and found this practice through Yelp. I had my consult with Dr. Brady and I will be switching practices. Dr. Brady is rare among Healthcare Professionals. He was so patient, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and even reached out to me after my appointment. The office staff are also great. I was tired of these 5-10 min. quick appointments with my previous Orthodontist that seemed to overbook, felt like an assembly line of patients and didn't fully address my questions. Dr. Ford has been my family's orthodontist for almost 20 years. He's one of the best, and he has an incredibly helpful and nice office staff. Dr. Ford completely reversed my overbite (and I had a tough case, let me assure you!) and did my top and bottom braces / invisaligns / retainers. And all of these turned out amazingly well. In addition, Dr. Ford is one of the nicest, warmest Doctors that I've met: outstanding bedside manner and great communication with patients. If it's any testament to how great of a job Dr. Ford does, I traveled around Europe for a few months before I started graduate school. In every city that I visited, I would have conversations with many people from around the world. During at least one of these conversations in each of the cities that I visited (and I really mean this, literally each city that I visited in Europe), someone would mention something along the lines of, "you have beautiful teeth!". No exaggeration. Every time I heard that, I thought about Dr. Ford (and mentioned his name!). It was just amazing that I could travel around the world and people would acknowledge the great smile that Dr. Ford gave me. Finally, I'm not the only person who feels this way. I grew up in Winnetka. My entire family is still there. And every one of my friends who needed orthodontic work did it with Dr. Ford. Now they all have great looking smiles! And I literally mean every one of my friends - and their brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, you name it: they all went to Dr. Ford. And they all highly recommend him to all of their family and friends who need any orthodontic work. In fact, my sister recently needed braces. You can probably guess that she called Dr. Ford. Long story (seen below) short, Dr. Ford is an exceptional orthodontist. He has always been extremely accommodating and if he can fix my mouth, he will have no problem with yours. I am a long time patron of Dr. Ford (14 years!) The most recent years have been check ups to make sure that I am maintaining that hard work we both put into my smile, as you can imagine my mouth was a bit of a cluster to start with. As a young kid there is nothing pleasant about going to the dentist or orthodontist. Even so I have no horrid memories of Dr. Fords office, they are actually quite fond. I attribute these memories not only to his friendly demeanor but his ability to not only care for me as a patient but to get to know me as a person. My first visit to Dr. Ford I was a snaggle-toothed fourth grader. Currently I just finished my first year of veterinary school and my most recent visit to Ford Orthodontics was over independence day weekend. My permanent retainer had snapped off and I needed it replaced. I now live away from home but was going to be in Winnetka for the holiday so I called Dr. Ford to see if per-chance he was going to be open any time (Friday, or Saturday) that weekend. I had little hope because both days were national holidays and nobody was working those days. I still tried because they were the only days I would be home for a long time. Dr. Ford replied to my voicemail, he asked how veterinary school was going, and explained that he would have no problem seeing me Friday morning regardless of being closed to quickly replace my lower permanent retainer (and it was quick, ~20min). As someone who is pursuing a carrier in the healthcare field I hope to be part of a practice where the owner (i.e. Dr. Ford) takes as much care and personal interest in each patient as Dr. Ford does. read more

My 12-year-old daughter just had her braces removed today, Dr. Ford is an absolute pleasure to work with! He communicates well, explains thoroughly, and is extremely competent. His staff is very helpful and easy to work with as well. He does a great job explaining everything he's doing and what you can expect throughout your entire visit. At the start of high school, I became a patient at Ford Orthodontics. After being treated with braces, the transformation in my teeth is truly stunning. Dr. Ford utilized a range of different tools, from expanders to springs, to get my teeth as perfectly aligned as they are now. Since then, the office has acquired a lot of new technologies such as micro-implant tools. They also have a second doctor, Dr. Brady. It is always a pleasure meeting both of them and their staff, who are very friendly and know the names of all their patients. Dr Ford is simply the best when it comes to Orthodontics care! I first met Dr Ford when I was treated in high school and college, as he worked with my schedule as I was back and forth from college out of state. Now that I've been back in the area some two decade later, and have a 10 year old daughter who needed treatment at the age of 7, I immediately when right back to Dr. Ford. My daughter struggles with anxiety and I knew it would be hard to have something placed in her mouth - even dealing with the castings and other things they needed to do to simply treat her. But Dr Ford and his staff immediately made her feel right at home! She loves everyone in the office and has no fear or anxiety about anything that has been done. She just started phase two and again, its been a very easy process - something unheard of for me when I usually struggle to settle her with the most basic changes. Dr. Ford and his team are excellent. I first had braces many years ago, and since then I have continually relied on Dr. Ford for his guidance and advice. He is clearly willing to do whatever it takes to help his patients. When I was studying abroad and had a problem with a permanent retainer, he called me and left me a voicemail with instructions for how to take it off. He even volunteered to instruct me over skype if necessary. I ended up needing braces a second time while in college due a jaw problem (unrelated to Dr. Ford's work on my teeth the first time), and although I saw an orthodontist in another city, Dr. Ford made himself available for second opinions whenever I wanted them. He worked me into his schedule and did not charge me for a consultation I wanted, even when I called last-minute, and he emphasized that I should feel free to call or text him with any other questions. Everyone on his team is truly warm and accommodating and interested in the patients' success. In short, I highly recommend Dr. Ford, and I am sure you will be pleased with his practice as well. read more
