Dr. Lin and the staff have given me a great experience so far as I'm getting my braces as an adult. Everyone is so kind and welcoming every time I have an appointment. Everything is always thoroughly explained and they always make sure if I'm comfortable. One time I had to reschedule last minute, and they did everything to squeeze me in, although it was my mistake of not scheduling well. read more

Garbage place, didn't really do much but change the wires and take bunch of pictures make it look like they were doing some. Don't really go out of their way to fix things. Just the basic bunch of bullshit read more

We like the doctors but we are not crazy about the receptionists. They tend to be a bit too sarcastic and preachy about lateness. I mean the delay is a few to 10 minutes. They berated my child for being late without even being considerate to what we go through on our end. Sure it is our lateness but things happen and we always call to let them know and they have a page full of reading to share with me as a punishment. Totally understand the protocol of office management particularly in light of COVID-19. No issues with them making their point across about our lateness but I don't believe they need to be preachy. I first thought I was being too protective of my child but I got upset by overhearing what was being said to my child during our recent call. Again, doctors and their assistants are nice. read more

Thank you plaza Ortho ! Professional, kind, easy to schedule in an emergency, and efficient. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things about Plaza Orthodontics. Every single person here was extremely nice and professional. My son is only 6 years old and felt comfortable with everyone. They fixed a poorly done job from another orthodontist and I couldn't be more thankful for finding them! Not that I'm hoping my kids need braces, but they will probably and I will be happy to come here more often. It's such a relief when you find professionals you can really trust. read more

If you need an orthodontist (first off sorry) but look no further than Plaza Orthodontics! I sadly had to get braces in my 30s and was not excited about it but WOW plaza did an amazing job and were wonderful while doing it. Dr. Lin is the absolute best, she did a great job all with a smile on her face. The office staff is also the best, from the front desk to the dental assistants, everyone is always so incredibly nice, welcoming and happy. They have even helped walk the baby around when I was getting my braces fixed... above and beyond. I am more than pleased with how my teeth came out and would recommend Plaza Orthodontics to anyone and everyone! read more

Dr. Lin is great! She has a wonderful personality and is a perfectionist when it comes to her patients. While I haven't visited her at this office, I felt compelled to find her other location and review. Anyways, my teeth look perfect! Just as I imagined. After finishing my treatment she gave me both removable retainers and permanent retainers. From what I know, a lot of orthodontists don't give permanent retainers also. Overall dr Lin rocks and. I would happily recommend her to anyone! read more

Terrible experience, Do not recommend. I actually had to take one daughter to another orthodontist for a second opinion and he agreed

If anyone is looking for an orthodontist in the area, I highly recommend Plaza Orthodontics. They are rt next to the Plaza del Lago. GREAT team! Ive been fortunate to work with them professionally, as I have referred patients to them. Now, my son and I have decided to be patients. I am on my 2nd round of adult braces. I had traditional braces 13 years ago, and due to shifting as Ive gotten older, i sm needing Invisalign. My son, 15, had beaces 4 years ago, and needs his 2nd set. Nowadays, its not out of the norm for kids to get braces earlier, and then do it again in high school. Dr. Lin was thorough with my concerns for my own teeth as an adult, as well as, for my son. Scheduling was a breeze, they were quick but still took the time to answer my questions. I was in a rush, but they were not. read more

Dr Kohl and everyone at Plaza Orthodontics are outstanding in every way. One of the most beautiful and nice offices around with great staff, and Dr's. Kohl & his associates have the right touch! I am a thirty plus year old adult patient and I am very happy with the way my treatment is going. Painless, invisible, comfy, and in a little over eight weeks I can see results already. My two daughters are now patients at Plaza Orthodontics as well and they like everyone as well. Choose Dr Kohl and his team for your ortho, you will be very happy with your decision. read more

I think Drs. Lin and Danaher, the only 2 i have dealt with, are great,,, their front office is really less then stellar. a whole lot of attitude and they make you feel less than welcome. Just cant stand it. as soon as my son is done with this round we are done with them! read more

Friendly, professional staff in a cheerful office. But TWICE as expensive as Dental Art Specialists in Evanston, only a 10-minute drive away. You should definitely get estimates from 1-2 other orthodontists before committing. read more

Dr. Lin is super good. One day when my daughter complained about the discomfort of her braces, Dr Lin took us immediately. When we went to her office, I thought it was closed. And their office was closed on that day but she had a staff member wait for us. We were the only customer on that day. Just in half a year, my daughter's teeth already started behaved and got corrected. We like Dr. Lin. Their office is also nice, clean, cozy and beautiful. Their staff members are friendly too and made me so relaxed. I like this office and would strongly recommend it to the community. read more

Dr. Lin is really professional and warm-hearted！I am an international student here and not that fast to understand every detail of the treatment at the first time. Dr. Lin is really nice to explain all pros and cons to me and always makes sure I fully understand what's going on and satisfy with the plan. I really had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lin for my orthodontic treatment. I like my smile now and strongly recommend this place. read more

Dr. Lin and her staff were incredible. Professional, personable, and helpful. They transformed my daughters smile which gave her a boost of confidence. Thank you Dr. Lin and the entire staff! read more

I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is! I came in for a consultation for Invisalign and from the moment I walked in I felt welcome and comfortable. I spoke with Dr. Lin and Janet for my consultation and they were both incredibly helpful and very well informed on the product. They were able to answer all my questions and address every concern I had! Since then I have had dealings with many other staff members and doctors within the practice and I don't have a single complaint. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Perhaps my favorite part is that ever since the first time I walked in for a consultation they have remembered me by name! There has never been any confusion as to who I was and what I was there for. They really care about their customers and want to make sure you get the best treatment. I highly recommend Plaza Orthodontics! read more

We have been seeing Dr. Kohl and his staff for six years with my two children. I cannot say enough good things about them! My second child just had her braces off. Dr. Kohl is hands down the most incredible health care professional I've ever worked with. He loves what he does--and it shows! AND the energy of the place reflects this fact. In all of our years there we have never had one single negative experience. From the the front desk staff (thank you Janet and Kelly!), to the technicians, to the three orthodontists there. All wonderful. My children's smiles are just beautiful. Thank you SO much everyone at Plaza Orthodontics! read more

As a parent, I was very apprehensive about my child needing orthodontic work since I did not have any personal experience with it. Dr. Kohl took a long time to go over the molds of my child's teeth and answered my long list of questions in great detail. Their approach is conservative and logical, trying to work with the body instead of fighting against it. The entire staff was wonderful to my child, who was obviously nervous at the start of the process. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs their services. read more

As a mother of a special needs child, I can not thank Plaza Orthontics enough for such a fabulous experience. My 12-year old had been tramatized by a prior dental experience (with a different dentist) and Dr. Kohl and his assistant Kathy could simply have not been any more empathatic and wonderful to my child. They were kind, thoughtful and unbelievably got everything completed that they needed to because of all their successful approaches. Thank you! would Highly reccomend! read more

Awesome place to get your braces!! Don't go anywhere else! Dr. Lin is fabulous and my smile shows it!! Staff is great and accomodating, I ran into a mutual patient of hers at the mall one day and we chatted about Dr. Lins work, she was also a happy patient! She also works at another office in Bridgeport in case this one is too far for you. The number there is 312-326-5437 read more

Our family lives in Texas but visited Chicago for a week during Christmas. My mother suggested seeing her dentist (Dr. Duda) for a second opinion regarding my 12 year old daughter's dental needs. Dr. Duda was great (see my glowing yelp review). In addition to giving us dental advice, he recommended the orthodontic expertise of Dr. Kohl and Dr. Lin of Plaza Orthodontics. In fact, he did not only recommend them, he walked us over to their office. Dr. Kohl and Dr. Lin took time out of their very busy day to see my daughter even though we did not have an appointment and would not be able to become clients as we live in another state. Dr. Kohl and Dr. Lin were amazing. They both examined my daughter, explained her orthodontic situation to my husband and me very patiently, and offered their recommendation. I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, generosity and patience of both Dr. Kohl and Dr. Lin. read more

I can't rave enough about Dr. Lin's work, she transformed my smile completely! Before my braces, i had very crooked teeth and one was lodged up in my upper gums. Dr. Lin explained to me everything she will do, what i could expect and how long i would be in braces for. She said about 2 years. I already knew my case would be a little "complicated". So i went ahead and decided to start, Dr. Lin even accommodated me at a time she doesn't even start just for me! She truly is all about patient satisfaction and service. So you can imagine how happy i was at every appointment when she'd show me how much i progressed. It even took less than the 2 years she had estimated! All i did was follow her directions and trusted her! I am now in retainers and i can actually SMILE at people and not feel embarrassed to show my teeth! You won't be disappointed! I know plenty of other people that also see her and some travel over an hour just to see her because her service is worth it! Thank you Dr. Lin! read more
