Dr Kuperschmidt was Excellent. She exceeded my my expectations at all levels. I had a complex issue with my tooth implant, she explained different options to fix the problem and included me in my care plan to match my needs which was very different than my previous dentist. I never felt rushed or felt like just another patient. Dr. Kuperschmidt is Wonderful, highly skilled, professional and mostly genuine. For once I felt relaxed in a Dental office. The support staff in the office are also great.. I have no issues with driving over an hour when other dentist are less that 15 minutes away to get high quality dental care from Dr Kuperschmidt. it was wonderful, as usual. I had my teeth cleaned by Dr. George and he always does a great job ( I have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth and it's more difficult to clean my teeth because of that but he does an excellent job). I have always been a little dentist-shy. Had bad experiences as a kid, I guess, and I have a low tolerance for pain. Dr. Koulis was absolutely a gift from God for me! I have two capped front teeth that needed to be fixed; I was really concerned about how they would look after they were fixed, as well as what id have to endure to get them done! Dr. Koulis herself is sensitive to pain, so she was so very careful with me. And more importantly, she has the eye of a true artist! She would not accept anything but the very best in her work, and that of the labs working on my veneers. I was so very relieved and thrilled with the results! In the time since that first work a few years back, I've been going to them for regular checkups and whatever has been needed to keep my teeth healthy. Dr. Koulis (and her partners, Drs. I have to start with the fact that I always just loved the interaction with Dr. koolis. And, that I still have today the beautiful work she did in 1999 (22 years ago). And even though a problem happened at that time, she took care of fixing of what needed to be done. But, I decided to move on to a closer dentist to me. This many years later I was so tickled that my crowns where still as beautiful as the day she put them on, I decided that I would stop by and show her that what she had believed should last for about 10 years was still beautiful 20+ years later. And, the good feeling of how kind and attentive she still is, made me go back to her care. The first time with the basic my insurance covered, was just fine. The second time, My specific explanation and understanding with the front desk (Effie) as I made a second appointment, it was that I wanted only what my insurance would cover, simple enough. Just as it happened the one time before. The problem is with the charges and what seems to me a predatory way the whole thing happened. As I am sitting there, under the care of a very chatty and pleasant assistant, it wasn't explained to me or was I asked if the extra work (that I was told later) was done was of my understanding or approval. Before leaving the office, Effie, told me that I owed $195,00. I was stunned but, almost embarrassed I paid and she said that they would send the bill to the insurance and from that, my understanding was that I would be reimbursed. But, to my further astonishment, I got a second bill in the mail for another $129,00. Calling my insurance, I was told that they went beyond what my plan covers and that I should talk them of why nobody asked me if I thought I needed or approved of the treatment to be done, at that exact time. I am so truly saddened by the whole thing because, it is true the dentists and their assistants are all very nice. read more

Visiting the dentist has never been my favorite thing to do, but since I've become a patient here, it's actually been pleasant. Dr. Koulis takes time to explain every step of the examination and uses high tech cameras to show you exactly what is happening. She is kind, caring and patient. I have not smiled in years, thanks to Dr Koulis I am on my way to having a smile as big as Texas, no the smile will just be as big as its supposed to be, perfectly fit to my face. I know that because of her care and concern just from my first consultation and now the second. I had the mold taken and this is not the first time I had a mold, the first was another dentist who just jammed it in and didn't worry if I choked or not. That was a crown that made my teeth look like horse teeth. Dr Koulis fitted my mouth and hovered nearby checking on my state of being. Then she consulted on the color with another dentist before getting the perfect shade and then waited for my approval. She also addressed my concern regarding the cosmetic aesthetics. No Horse teeth for me! I am so happy I found her and I know you will be too and from the smiles I saw on the children that passed through the office I am sure this is the place for your entire family. I have a difficult jaw something about my bite, I have heard from more than one dentist. Doctor Koulis is up to the challenge. Take your problems to her or her associates and you too will be smiling!
