    Lemon Cake French toast
    Steve S.

Having been here a few times now I'll say while their regular menu is kind of generic, their specials are awesome. As a result I bumped up their review some. The last two times I was there I had cinnamon roll French toast (made with an actual cinnamon roll!) and lemon cake French toast. Delicious!

This is going to be my family's new breakfast spot. Delicious biscuit and gravy! We also had a chorizo and sausage patty that we shared. Homemade bread is so soft and fluffy. Staff is super sweet! Can't wait to come back and show off this place to our friends that visit.

Breakfast Platter with Cinnamon Raisin bread

Our party of 5 was seated quickly, although they were pretty busy around 9:30am. The bread is all homemade. The cinnamon raisin toast is SO GOOD. The breakfast platter was very filling and all menu options very reasonably priced.

Probably the best diner that I've ever ate at! They offer way more than just the standard breakfast plate. The homemade bread and biscuits really kicks their meal up a notch.

Homemade cinnamon buns are a must try!

Came with a party of 6 and we were seated right away, service was great and the food was even better. I would say definitely try the homemade cinnamon rolls, but they also have five different homemade breads. I got the sausage roll up which was sausage, egg and cheddar cheese rolled up in a jumbo pancake. It was delicious! Most of the party got one of the skillet specials and it looked really good. I also tried some home fries which were better than your typical home fry. Can't wait to visit family again so we can come back!

The server, Beth, was efficient, helpful, and friendly. The food came to me hot and tasty, and, sooner than I expected considering how busy the place was. Ok so growing up in this area, we went to the place it was back in the day, Akropolis (I think is how the spelled it back then) Back in the day it was pricey. Fast forward to present day and it's STILL pricey...and pricey for a diner. It is NY after all, but I mean, plenty of diners around that are cheaper. Does that mean I had a bad experience? Nah. Was just shocked at the prices. My plain waffle with butter was like $9. That's just insane to me. Waitress was super nice. She didn't check on us for refills and whatnot tho. So that was unfortunate. Still a nice person. Suuuuper quick in wanting us to order tho and by the time we got there the breakfast rush was definitely over. So It's ok to slow down some, sis lol. It's a good place to check out. Will I rush back there? Nah, probably not. We went bc my friend had to go to Canandaigua for her boyfriend and my mom lives not far from Canandaigua. So my friend picked me up...hence why we chose this place. Definitely worth checking out. People like this place from the reviews I've seen. Again, it's not a bad place at all. Food was definitely good. Just pricier than I expected is all...and again...for a diner. People love diners bc the food is almost always better than "regular" restaurants and the prices are USUALLY cheaper. This place is about or close to the same as a reg restaurant. Thanks for reading, YelpHillyToppers! Cheers!

Once inside, the restaurant has a nice little cozy feel. The place was PACKED, but we must have just walked in at the right time, being seated instantly. Our waitress was over within a minute or two, and took our drink orders. And a couple minutes after that, we were able to put in our food orders. I ordered a hot delight omelette, with their homemade white toast, and a side of corned beef hash. The omelette was good not great, with a nice hint of spice from the jalapeños. The homemade toast was the star of the show with a nice crisp to it, and a nice buttery flavor. The corned beef hash was not my cup of tea. I am a corned beef hash lover, but I was not a fan of the taste and texture of it here at Patty's. The flavor was really potato forward with not much of a meat flavor to it. My wife ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, which was the start of the show! The gravy had a nice blend of sausage and pepper flavor, while not being too forward with a cream tasting. The biscuits were so warm and fluffy. Overall we had a good time and the staff were very friendly. With my wife and I being local we definitely will be back, probably to try some different foods.

I recently tried Green Front Restaurant for the first time, and it was an absolute rollercoaster of…read morean experience. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, but the front-of-house needs some serious help. We began with the fried pickle chips, which were amazing--served piping hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The kitchen is remarkably quick, too; almost immediately after our appetizers arrived, the staff was already at our table taking main course orders. For my entree, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries basket. The tenders were perfectly golden and incredibly crispy, served with a generous mountain of fresh crinkle-cut fries. I'd rate the tenders a solid 3.5/5--my only minor critique is that they could be a bit more generous with the dipping sauce for a portion that size. My dad also ordered a beer, which was poured beautifully with a nice head. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience completely dragged the meal down with some glaring cleanliness and professionalism issues. I found a long hair wrapped right around the lemon wedge in my iced tea. To make matters worse, I watched the staff member pouring drinks rub her mouth right at the drink station before handling other beverages. Meanwhile, the lady behind the counter was completely disengaged, literally just scrolling on her phone instead of focusing on the dining room. The overall neglect was obvious if you looked around. Hanging directly above our dining table was a vintage wall thermometer covered in a heavy, flaking buildup of rust and grime--definitely not what you want hanging over your food. Even the bathroom was neglected, with trash and used paper towels left on the floor. If you are strictly judging by the kitchen's output, the food tastes fantastic and comes out incredibly fast. However, management desperately needs to invest in a deep clean and have a serious huddle with the staff regarding basic front-of-house hygiene.

As soon as we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere immediately stood out. The cafe has a warm, comfortable feeling that makes it a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy a good meal. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease whether you're there with friends, family, or just stopping in for a quick bite. One of the things that impressed me most was the friendly and professional staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and treated with great hospitality. Our server was attentive and helpful the entire time, making sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and happy to give recommendations, which made the experience even better. The food itself was outstanding. Everything we ordered came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really tell that the kitchen takes pride in the quality of the ingredients and the way each dish is prepared. The portions were generous and very satisfying, and the presentation was great as well. Every bite tasted like it was made with care, which is something that really makes a restaurant stand out. Another thing that made the experience enjoyable was the overall environment of the cafe. The dining area was clean, organized, and very inviting. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed, which made it easy to enjoy our meal and conversation without feeling crowded or rushed. It's the kind of place where you could easily spend time catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet meal. I also appreciated the variety offered on the menu. There are plenty of options to choose from, so whether someone is in the mood for something light or a more filling meal, there is something for everyone. It's clear that the cafe tries to offer a good selection that appeals to many different tastes. Overall, Parkplace Cafe truly exceeded my expectations. Between the great food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, it's easy to see why so many people enjoy coming here. Everything about the experience felt positive and well put together. I would highly recommend Parkplace Cafe to anyone in Wisconsin looking for a great place to eat. Whether you're a local or just passing through the area, it's definitely worth stopping by. I will absolutely be returning in the future, and it easily earns a well-deserved 5-star rating.
