Yet another crappy ghost kitchen disguising itself as a real restaurant to an undiscerning public that doesn't question anything on delivery apps. None of the uncanny AI slop photos of the food ever resemble the actual slop actually being served out of some sketchy nondescript door. There's at least two other fake restaurants besides this one that I've caught operating out of this specific 5th Ave location ("Glazed Hen" Korean fried chicken is another one), but whichever group runs them always sets up the same slate of fake restaurants in the same buildings. 1140 Utica Ave in Brooklyn is another known physical location they operate this scam out of. In the meantime I need for y'all to be a bit smarter when you go on these apps. DoorDash usually labels ghost kitchen junk "virtual brand" in small print on the store page, but UberEats and the rest all lie. If it's a place with a weird name that you never heard of that's delivering at all hours and has a suspiciously high rating on the delivery apps compared to here on Yelp, despite having no internet presence to speak of (no social media) it's a huge red flag. Don't support this scam. read more

Fantastic value and great flavor bowls. The portions are generous and they have lots of options, including making your own bowl (poke or two BBQ proteins) and pre-made bowls. We ordered delivery (can't comment on the restaurant space of service) and it arrived hot and fresh. We tried the make your own poke bowl with salmon and tuna (you get to pick two which I really like), over white rice with edamame, cucumber, avocado, mango, sesame seeds, onion crisps, seaweed salad and the poke sauce (with a side of siracha aiolic) along with the two protein BBQ bowl with beef bulgogi and pork katsu, with cole slaw and mac and cheese over hawaiian fried rice with katsu sauce. The katsu was still crispy and while I don't normally care much for fried rice, the hawaiian fried rice was very good. The poke bowl was fresh with a good amount of fish and again, I loved all of the toppings and things that you can add for free (the avocado is extra). Both bowls were very tasty and good sized portions. Given the quality and quantity, the prices were very reasonable (especially compared to other poke places) and I would definitely order from here again. read more

Orderedunch from here because there was a guy one get one deal. They only brought one. The food was ok. I got the bbq chicken bowl. I asked for dressing on the side. They drenched the bowl. The spring mix was soaked. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

Honestly I've been craving Hawaiian katsu and I have high hopes because L&L is still my go too when I go back to California. But the amount money that I paid for this bowl was $17 for a small chicken cutlet more rice than Mac salad is sad. If you ever lived in Cali or in my case stationed in Camp Pendleton that you better not order from this place. read more

I'm constantly amazed at the variety and quality of fusion/ethnic cuisine available in the area. I believe this was from the BK location (ordered delivery). Our food came fast and was incredibly fresh and neatly prepared. We ordered the BBQ Pulled Chicken Bowl with white rice, Hawaiian macaroni salad and crab salad, along with 2 Ube Coconut Mochi Brownies. The Hawaiian style macaroni salad came with onions grated carrots and was soooo creamy. This was hands down with us macaroni salad I've ever had in my entire life. The crab was a little spicy in a great way - seasoned with masago, spicy aioli and cucumbers. If you know me, you know, I'm not a huge fan of chicken, but there's seasoned and cooked to perfection, with Rice that was perfectly sticky yet not mushy. The real highlight of this mea were the brownies. I really expected them to taste prepackaged as they came in labeled plastic wrappers, and had no idea what to expect but all I can say is wow. The mild yet so sweet flavor of Ube blended perfectly with the chewies of the mochi and the delicious coconut flavors. I could eat 40 of these. Not too sweet but packed full of flavor. This will become a staple for our delivery rotation. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this spot! I ordered for delivery and I believe it was my first time ever having Hawaiian BBQ. Very solid flavors and lots of food for a very good price. I know some of the reviews say otherwise but I was very happy with the quality of food and amount. My order came quickly and was packed very proficiently. I'm most certainly be ordering again. read more

Their menu items are always different portions of sauce and preparation techniques ... but the last straw was receiving spam rice snacks and they are half the size as I'm used to and have been used to for weeks / the same price as when a few days before as well as weeks of purchasing them. I should also mention the rice of the sea seaweed spam snacks was inedible absolutely disgusting , so they came half the size and inedible ....... The texture of soggy rice was something I had to spit back out I'm offended. I feel scammed and I won't be coming back. The food portions keep getting smaller and smaller. Making an item half the size with no price change is so ridiculously disrespectful to the customer/business relationship in my opinion,....... The quality of the food isn't good enough for how much they're charging... I didn't mind though because they're open so late. Now they're just trying to vacuum all the money out of your pockets while leaving you hungry !!! Im good yall got it. Take your W on that one my friends... Itis upsetting as somebody who was eating here weekly. The food is not consistent with ratios of sauce and salad or preparation of crab salad or the size of the ham rice rolls. Actively looking for a new late night spot That appreciates their customers ... and shows that through respect...... goodbye read more

I had the chicken katsu which was really good it tasted like a McDonald chicken nugget. The bulgogi beef wasn't that flavorful neither was the bbq chicken. The rice was a bit hard / chewy and the macaroni salad was pretty good also. read more

This is not a restaurant. It is some conglomeration of restaurants who have provided their menus and pre-made food products for pick up through - in my experience - Caviar. You order and go to the pick up location. Upon locating the address, there is no restaurant awning or storefront. It is a room full of delivery people with a bunch of pick up orders placed on a counter. To call this misleading is an understatement. I will never - knowingly - order from this place again. The corporatization of restaurant culture does not appeal to me, thanks. read more

One of my favorite takeout Poke places, love their build your own bowls where you can pick two proteins (salmon, tuna, or more), 6 toppings, or additional toppings, and then sauce. Economical that it costs only about $17. Also tried their two protein bowl where you can pick beef or chicken as well. They are always super quick in delivery, and they offer you $5 off once you order certain numbers (I think it is 5 times but please verify) Love and recommend! read more

Honestly the worst Hawaiian food I've ever had, not even comparable to chains like L&L. I ordered on DoorDash without checking Yelp (big mistake), and immediately thought it was a small box for $20 worth of food when I received it. It seems like ordering the 3 protein bowl doesn't give you much more meat than the single protein options, just more variety. The portion sizes for the sides and salad base were also tiny, maybe 2 tablespoons each, while the rice filled the bottom of the container. Taste wise, everything was lackluster. Chicken katsu was soggy, BBQ chicken had a weird sour marinade, and bulgogi beef was dry and bland. The BBQ sauce on the side was also extremely sour, almost had a ketchup-y flavor to it? Mac salad was decent but not super flavorful, and seaweed salad was good but probably came pre-made anyways. Overall would definitely go with many other late night options on delivery apps over this. read more

I ordered the chicken katsu with extra protein. I thought the prices were reasonable and the portions were good. I enjoyed my meal. The chicken itself was flavored well but the sauce that it comes with is just little packets. It would've been nice to have a house made sauce . The packet sauce is a tangy sweet sauce. I didn't care for it but otherwise the food was good. read more

Definitely a hit or miss type of place. I ordered a rice bowl with egg fried rice, battered shrimp, macaroni salad, and kani salad. I wish they separated the cold and hot food with at least a plate that has dividers but they put it all in one bowl. The shrimp had good flavor just a bit tough, the macaroni had good flavor too but very very Al dente, the kani salad is just mayo in it, which I didn't mind because it tasted great. Simple and sorta healthy lunch. I also got the spicy kani salad and uji green tea matcha with oatmilk.the kani salad was good, and simple and the matcha was unsweetened and good quality . Would recommend this place. read more

Ordered delivery from Braddah's last night through Seamless. The delivery experience was disappointing as we placed the order at 10:20pm and got an ETA of 10:45pm. OUR FOOD ARRIVED AT 12:05AM. Definitely something to make note of if you're starving and wanting your food to arrive at least slightly close to the ETA. As a general statement, it did not taste anything close to the traditional lunch plates in Hawaii. And with a name like Braddah's I was expecting authentic island food. It isn't remotely close to L&L, Hawaiian Drive-In, street kitchens, or like Rainbow Drive-In; besides the name and layout of the plates. With that being said the food was OK. The Hawaiian mac salad had some interesting ingredients added like peas, string beans, and cubed carrots vs shredded. It was like a generic frozen vegetable melody was thrown into the mac salad. Also, it was ridiculously sweet. The BBQ Chicken was a bit dry, and the sauce was lacking flavor (nothing tasted like BBQ). The chicken katsu sauce was also bland. The katsu was soggy, and not crispy whatsoever. Also the rice was hard but sticky -- kind of like Laos sticky rice. You do get to have different bases; e.g. white rice vs brown rice vs salad, as well as different sides, e.g. Mac salad vs crab salad vs seaweed salad. All at no additional cost, which is pretty great! I've been craving Hawaiian plate lunches since L&L closed in the FiDi, but this didn't do much in satisfying that craving. I didn't try their other offerings though; e.g. poke or spam musubi, so maybe I'll give their other dishes a shot and update my review then. read more

I tried this at the Mets Club house in Union Square and then ordered delivery. Really really good! My family enjoyed it.

I got the three protein bowl + the spam musubi Spam: hard pass on this Bowl: quality is pretty solid imo, the quantity and price is where the real issue comes in. Fortunately for me, i get the occasional order on the house so im ultimately reasonably happy -- would def consider ordering it again in the future Edit: came back to try their poke bowls, its a hard pass from me -- stick with the land proteins read more

Ordered delivery from dinner and had a good experience. They got the toppings slightly wrong on our bowls (Spicy salmon lover and Spicy tuna, both with brown rice) but they still tasted great. We also got the Homemade steamed pork Dumplings but they were a bit dry, I'd skip those next time. Finally, Nutella sea salt chocolate chip cookie was incredible. Definitely get one of those! Edit 7/2020: Ordered again, this time to try the chicken katsu bowl, which I've decided is the best menu item here. Classic salmon bowl with brown rice was good, too. read more

This place is pretty darn good! I ordered 808 Crunch Don (ahi tuna and salmon) with brown rice as the base. The portion was a great size, better than other poke places. Also, I got Sea Salt Tots with a side of Mushroom Gravy which was super savory and reminded me of disco fries without the cheese. My food was delivered which came very fast, less than an hour wait. I am born and raised in Hawai'i my whole family still lives there. I came to NY for education and this is definitely auwe no ho'i eh type of food!! 7-11 make better musubi's at home!! At least the nori is tight and the spam is not dry!!! Everything is rushed and gross. The Mac salad was so sour!! I threw out my whole plate!! Don't represent Hawai'i if you're not going to take pride in your food, family, and culture. I have to be honest because I grew up that way and this food does not represent us. As a night shift nurse in NYC, I'm thankful for places like Braddah's which has delivery until 2am, on days I forget to pack a lunch. Thank you for saving my night! I had ordered a Build Your Own BBQ bowl, and packed it with 1/2 Spring Salad 1/2 Furikake Rice, Crab Salad, Hawaiian bbq chicken, Chicken Katsu, Crispy Garlic Tofu, and topped it off with Hawaiian barbeque sauce. What a loaded handful into a bowl! My favorite of the 3 proteins was surprisingly the Garlic Tofu. It seemed to be pan fried, and was tossed in a delicious sauce. The perfect amount of crispy & savoryness packed into a delicious protein. Braddah's has an awesome variety to choose from, which I greatly appreciated. The flavor of the bowl was also delicious! Nothing too salty or overpowering, just the right amount to be enjoyable. I highly recommend trying out this place! I believe it's delivery only; I sure wish they had a store/location! read more

Very good go to Hawaiian food. Always run specials. Def my go to for a good meal and not too pricey.

I ordered this late night on Doordash, because I was starving and was craving Hawaiian food. This place is absolute trash. The garlic shrimp was absolutely horrible. I thought it would be standard grilled shrimp but it was the tiniest thing that looked like it was boiled until it got tiny. The short rib was just fine. Lesson learned, if I'm starving late at night, just go get pizza instead. read more

Great Hawaiian favorites that take me back to my days in the islands. The poke is not bad. But I order takeout for their Mitsuken Garlic Chicken. If you ever lived on Oahu you know Mistuken's bentos and chicken! They call it 'Ahola Boneless Wings' on the Braddah's menu. Same sauce, same preparation. Another excellent choice are the Spam Musubis. You get two large ones for $7.50. A great deal in my opinion. The furikake rice and the generous portion of spam will hit the spot and activate your umami cravings. Do be mindful that Braddah's is a prep kitchen with no physical walk-in restaurant. It shares the same cooks as several other brands that share the same space. Most importantly, because they are a ghost kitchen, you cannot order or pay in person or with cash. There is no cashier on site. So remember to place your order through an app like DoorDash or Grubhub first. For both delivery and pickup. read more

I have never been to Hawaii so I can't really comment on how the food compares to the authentic Hawaiian cuisine, but I'm pretty impress with what they had to offer. I found this place on Doordash and ordered delivery from them as they had a discount incentive for first time customers. I got the Hawaiian BBQ Mix, which contained BBQ beef and chicken with a choice of base and salad. I chose Brown Rice and Furikake Rice for my base and Seaweed Salad and Hawaiian Macaroni Salad as my salad. I paid less than $20 for all of this and it was super filling. Loved the variety of items I was able to get and definitely looking forward to future orders. read more
