This was a complete transformation that lasted over a year and involved rebuilding nearly every inch of the house. We kept one wall... and built a brand-new home around it. The project included all-new electrical and plumbing throughout, six brand-new bathrooms, a custom kitchen, and a full interior reconfiguration with open concept. We moved stairwells, relocated laundry areas, and reimagined the entire flow of the house. We even had load bearing walls that had to be moved. It was a huge undertaking, and Corey handled it all with exceptional attention to detail and professionalism. I'm already planning the next big project with him--an ADU build into a steep hillside that will require heavy grading, retaining walls, and a lot of involvement with the city. These are the kinds of jobs that scare off most contractors. But not Corey. He jumps in, takes charge, and always seems to know exactly how to move things forward. Even my neighbors were impressed--they asked about him because his crew showed up every day, on time, and made visible progress. If you're looking for someone who can deliver on big, complicated builds with confidence and skill, Corey's your guy.

He received his money and I trusted his word that he would complete several things after he got the final inspection from SDGE and he did not complete the work. There was also a leak in the master bathroom that was not completed. I had to hire someone to complete some of the work and we did the rest. I did receive some compensation from his bond, that also involved a lot of time and work getting through the entire process. He is a great salesman and bragging is his specialty. The over all quality of work a value are very low. He informed me that he had no money, jobs and that he was going to have to file for bankruptcy. The father came over and wouldn't even look us in the eye. They were supposed to install trim, baseboard, and paint the walls. They installed the trim and baseboards, but there are sections where there is no caulk and no paint at all! They did not even put 1 coat on the baseboard. They did a horrible job by leaving a giant gap in the trim and squeezed a bunch of bondo in it and this is one of the most visible areas of the room. I can't believe we paid these people and now we have have to redo it all over again. The pictures speak for themselves and these are only a select few.

Right from the start, they provided a very good and thorough quote that clearly broke down both the mitigation and the rebuild phases so I knew what to expect. I had several concerns about the process, but the team took the time to address every single one upfront. The management and foreman oversight throughout the project was outstanding. They were communicative, organized, and made sure everything was done right by the book. The crew did very detailed work, from setting up containment and removing the damaged drywall to the rebuild, painting, and putting the appliances back in place. The space under my sink looks brand new. Great company to work with and I definitely recommend them.

My job involved removing upstairs deck coating and flashing with several layers of previous coatings. No one in the past could compare with the thoroughness of Allied Coatings. The workers were thoughtful in climbing up to the deck from the outside with a ladder since we have no stairs. When I saw the detail with which they applied various waterproofing materials, it made me think that we've never had this job done properly in the past. If you have any waterproofing needs or special deck coatings or garage floor finishes, BE SURE TO GET A BID FROM ALLIED COATINGS. You will thank me. We had a water damage in our home and our plumber recommended this company. Started in our bathroom…read more, put new flooring down, and did a great job. We asked them to do repair the drywall because of damage. The drywall guy they used as a subcontractor was fabulous but the plumber asked them to wait for a few days to drywall our dining room to let the walls dry out and to see if there was any more leaks .... That's where the problem started. Because Salvador was in a hurry to finish the job they did the drywall right away and YES... there was a small leak. After drywalling on a Friday, on Monday I noticed a stain . Called Salvadore back to examine the damage, he said to call the plumber. The Plumber made a small cut in the drywall and realized it was damp so they tore it out . At that time Salvadore said he noticed there was some mold on the drywall and wouldn't touch it. ( after a few days, really!!!) I was furious. Thankfully, our plumber took care of the problem and hired another drywall person to come in and HIRED another drywall person to finish the job. This company seemed to have too many jobs that they were overwhelmed. His wife and two of his sons ( BTW are still in their teens) were doing the job. I personally would not hire Salvadore again but I do have to say his drywall subcontractor was fabulous.

Our search began shortly after New Year's 2015. After attempting to contact half a dozen (that's six [6] for those mathematically challenged types - like me) installation companies around San Diego, we received calls back from only two. TWO. Thankfully, Master Flooring was one of those. The other, slick like an oil spill, quoted us more than TWICE what Master Flooring quoted us. He was a nice guy, but what I, in my advanced age, refer to as a "Herb Tarleck" type (check out WKRP in Cincinnati for the reference), and much, much too polished a salesman to earn my trust. Paul and Gary of Master Flooring, always working as a team, showed up together at our home to quote the job, on time, friendly and courteous, but genuinely so, never the type of overly-friendly that leaves you cringing. These were just nice, normal guys who wanted to do a good job and would work hard to earn your respect. At least that's how they came across. After giving them a timeline for the installation, we had to reschedule. Three times. They had set aside time for our job, but never once complained about the reschedule, and continued to be friendly and courteous throughout. When we finally arrived at a date that would work, again, they showed up on time, prepared and ready to put in a hard day. Our carpet installation included a uniquely carved wood floor that they would have to work around, and a circular staircase with two landings - not an easy job, any of it. It took two days, but they worked steadily, not even taking a break for lunch. They arrived at our convenience (we both work late, so it was 10 a.m.) and worked through the day until approximately 4 p.m. They gave us tips on how to best care for the carpet (cut small pieces of the scraps and use those to dab up any spills, also purchase a product at Costco called Folex - a small bottle will last a lifetime! - and that will clean up anything that might stain), helped us load up the old carpet (we had agreed to haul it away ourselves) and were unfailingly patient with all our (my) endless questions. They never even flinched when we imposed upon them at the last minute to help tear out the old carpet in one room (it was something we'd planned on doing ourselves, but had been unable to carry it out). Master Flooring did an amazing and professional job for us, and will be coming back to complete a third room when we're ready for it. Very reasonably priced, exceptional customer service, and excellent installation job. Definitely call them when you have a carpet that needs installing! (I never asked, but I'm sure they do all different types of flooring installations.)
